I'm not sure if it's the case, but looks like a possible preset first encounter for Santalune Forest. That, or it might have been meant to appear at Route 2 before being changed for the Pidgey.

Do you guys remember your first random encounter in Santalune Forest? I have yet to properly play XY, so I have nothing to say about it.

In that case I should swap them too but for the moment PK3DS crashes

so according to TCRF there are 2 unused Static Encounter in XY: a Scatterbug and a Abomasnow.

Speaking about a way to get it with @BlackShark I thaught we can use the same method as I did for GS Unused Venomoth slot.

But for that we need first to know where those 2 unused encounters are located.

What to do?

Modify a Static Encounter in XY with PK3DS and check the differences with an HexEditor.

Look around if there is the Scatterbug and Abomasnow slot and then swap them with Mewtwo for example.

Any volunteer?

I tried to do this but with my Gateway O3DS I failed using PK3DS.

I'll do some researches too in order to know more about those 2 Pokemon.

@BlackShark I'm not very confident about the success of this quest .I mean it's my first step in gen6 and it's a very big challenge. Hope that everything will be fine. Maybe I should open a new thread if other people want to help?

It'll be simpler to just export the .pkm/pk4 as we ignore how time mechanic works in Gen4. I mean you can't cheat with it easily.

Yes, but there is very few chances to get him at lv22 because it's a daily event (1/96 day(s)).

Edit2: I have an idea @BlackShark swap as I did in Gen2 the static encounter (for example Mewtwo with Abomasnow/Scatterbug). But I ignore where to do that in gen6 ROM.

Edit2: Gen4 seems to have a lot of cut debug content, if someone want to study it there are a lot of secrets to find.

Pokemon Ranger wasn't released in Korea, but the location met and associated text might be translated (if unused) in the gen 4 games.

It's a bit off topic but 2 Manaphy were distributed (not as egg unfortunately) in gen4 in Korea (here) and 1 in gen6 to commemorate the movie.
