  1. I haven't actually looked at anything besides a few promotional videos so I wanna be mostly surprised by them. I hate the knee-jerk reaction of "this sucks/doesn't look good" because no one has played the game yet and that's the method in which we fall in love with a Pokemon or get annoyed with a Pokemon. anyway, Pokemon's like central premise for older players is profiting off of nostalgia. HGSS were released even though all 99 Johto Pokemon were available before the re-makes, for example.
  2. Yeah, it looks ugly and all. But a $40 price drop with the only real sacrifice being a feature that almost everyone recognized as a dumb gimmick can push a lot of people into buying it for their kids. Personally I'd rather play a 2DS than the 3DS. But the 3DS XL is honestly just perfect for my hands while the DSiXL was way too bulky. I probably won't get one unless they come up with a packaging with X/Y. I also think it is interesting there is no JP release for it.
  3. I don't think any of the shiny events have ever had pre-set IVs, though they've all in recent memory had pre-set natures.
  4. This forum and site are primarily dedicated to game research. I know there's a handful of sites dedicated to Pokemon merch (mostly the importing and selling of such) as well as a few collectors on larger forums like Serebii's. Your best bet is to check there and ask around. No one here that I know of does anything more than by the occasional plush or whatnot.
  5. I cleaned up the last few posts in this thread. Please keep the personal bickering to a minimum or take it to Twitter or whatever where I won't have to deal with it.
  6. Please use this thread and the proper format for Pokemon Requests. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?15403-General-Pokemon-Request-Thread-Revenge-of-the-Fallen
  7. Random Matchup consists of 3v3 singles, 4v4 Doubles/Rotations, or 6v6 Triples. In these formats, entry hazards like Stealth Rock generally aren't worth the move slot since the match will be over so quickly. I could go through the many errors with this team, but generally, you picked 6 random Pokemon and gave them 4 random moves each with no real rhyme, reason, or strategy. You need to keep in mind that, generally, these battles will be over fast and set up isn't a good strategy and defensive tactics better require some REALLY good thinking on your part or your opponent is just going to beat on you while you set up. I know Random Match doesn't let you give the same items to your 6 Pokemon, but no one should be using the gems unless it is a situational thing like Acrobatics Flying Gem Gliscor or something. Life Orb, Choice Band, Wise Glasses, etc... are always a much better item.
  8. I don't care what the purpose is, PP will not help you get around Random Match's legality check.
  9. Please do not discuss pirated material here in regards to distribution roms, which aren't available through legal means and can only be criminally stolen from stores/Nintendo or illegally downloaded.
  10. RAM->RAM Editing is where AR related stuff goes. Ask in the appropriate AR [game] thread.
  11. I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh, but there's a lot of charities out there and some of them aren't run so well. This site is run by volunteers and we don't have time to vet charitable drives to make sure they are who they say they are, so this is still considered advertising. Best of luck.
  12. No. There's only a handful of Pokemon with a shiny lock on them when capturing them in-game, all of them being Gen 5 Pokemon. Question answered.
  13. They do. If a post is made and you don't see it or whatever, it was probably deleted. Question answered.
  14. You need a flash cart. Evandixon notes that the R4 doesn't support GBA game save files, so I don't know if there are others that do. My hunch would probably be a no.
  15. You can't upload Pokemon with Classic Ribbons to PokeCheck via the GTS. You need to have your save file on your computer and then extract the pkm files and then upload those to Pokecheck. Alternatively, you can just use any of the events already on Pokecheck.
  16. You're assuming Gen 5 will let us transfer held items. I'm not saying they won't. But they stopped it from 4->5.
  17. No developer is psychic and next gen tools can't be developed until the next generation is actually, you know, released. EDIT: I misunderstood what you posted. You can still get items on existing GTS servers. Make a pkm file with the held item you want and then upload it to pokegts.us or whatever.
  18. Dec 10, 2013 is the actual date to do a final tuck in of a Pokemon, while Jan 14 is the last date to wake one up, get items, change C-Gear skins, etc... I'd imagine that nothing will happen until the new one is launched and people will see if DW.exe will work or not.
  19. Question answered. Please do not ask off-topic questions in Forum Feedback. This is for site/forum feedback, not a place for someone to walk you through step-by-step on how to get Pokemon from your computer to your game cart.
  20. The original question has been answered, and it appears several of the followup questions could've been answered if the OP actually read the message posted on the events section. Closing. TLDR: If you want legit events, go get them yourself.
  21. This is not a very high traffic forum, and the likelihood that someone will be on at the same time as you AND have their DS ready AND want to battle is extremely low. So I'm going to close this. I'd recommend trying a high traffic Pokemon or gaming forum or chat room.
  22. He named the site. Pretty easy to find after that. Follow the instructions on PokeCheck to a T. No, don't set up two access points.
  23. Event trading is pretty pointless here since anyone here can just generate their own legal events from Wonder Cards or PokeCheck or whatever. If you want to trade, and get it done in a reasonable time, I'd suggest going elsewhere.
  24. The Trading forum is still up but is hidden. It was low activity and nobody read the rules so it was basically a farm/trap for infractions so it was shut down. This is a fairly tight knit community that is mostly dedicated to game research and development and whatnot. And for better or for worse, that doesn't attract the thousands and thousands of members needed to have a thriving battling or trading section. Your best bet is to hit up a much larger forum or look into their IRC/chat channels for real-time interaction, since that's what is really needed to trade.
