  1. You have to upload it to your game and Pal-Park it as usual afai
  2. What is the difference between a NDS Adapter + and a SMS4? I have an Adapter + and a DSTwo. Do those together have the same functionality of a SMS4?
  3. I really wanted to have my own shiny Manaphy to make sure it wasn't a hack because a lot of shiny Manaphy hacks were going around at the time, so I learned how to RNG. I own two DS and at the time had Platinum and Soulsilver. I calibrated the Soulsilver and set the Manaphy's hatch info on RNG Reporter to be shiny on my Platinum. The worst was starting the game on the right seed. I have a pretty bad time with delays, I guess. I finally got it after trying for like 8 days, though. LOL It doesn't have good IVs, though (low except a 30 in Speed and a 28 in Sp. Def I think). I can do you one better, though, thanks to Kaphotics. Kaphotic's Sandbox
  4. I am using Rudolph's GBA Back-Up Tool to upload my Ruby commercial cart to my computer. I uploaded two different save files to my SD Card through my SuperCard DSTwo, and then went to re-upload my first. That's when I realized I couldn't because the Back-Up Tool only allows (from what I can see) one to upload a .sav file, while all backed-up games are .gba files. edit: Never mind. I found on the Tool a place that saves save as a .sav file. >___> Hahaha
  5. I think what they're saying is the generator that put the Mews on the Distribution Cart's algorithm could have allowed for a shiny, but the likelihood of it actually happening, or the amount of people going to the distribution, or that the attendants would've given one is small. I do know someone who said they were at a Toys "R" Us and he and his friends heard the attendant ask someone if they wanted a blue one. He thought the attendant was being smart since at the time he didn't even know shinies existed. A few months later his friend found out about shinies and brought it back to his attention. He was saying now that he wished he'd been more knowledgable to see if the attendant really had one.
  6. Wow, that's dedication. Thank you! Does this info give any indication if they (Celebi/Pikachu) can be shiny?
  7. I think it's because they may be saying they are either one-of-a-kind, or they are unique to this area so no one currently has access to them. I'm trying to justify it, but I don't know how much longer I can do that. I'm interested in seeing if Genesect will be shiny and whether what Pokemon he used to be will be unveiled as #650 in Pokemon Gray. Genesect and Mewtwo are just too similar for me for GF not to do this. I think it'd be awesome. Anyway, back to the point... interesting decisions on not letting them be shiny...
  8. Ok, thank you very much for that info.
  9. I believe DannyB01 is stating a theory that the original, un-ARed Old Sea Chart had a programming in it that caused a shiny check.
  10. So I can upload a Japanese Ruby save to my English Ruby? O_O I have Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, though my brother just informed me the Sapphire's battery died, so I don't think it will save any longer. I guess I have to figure out how to put the GBA files from my cart to my PC.
  11. The Bonus Disc works on Emerald? Didn't know that. Will the Celebi test also show findings for the Pikachu?
  12. Unfortunately, I can't check the GC/GBA Celebi or the Pikachu because I don't have a Japanese Gamecube. Hopefully there is someone who can help with this, because I've been wondering for a very long time about the Pikachu in particular.
  13. Wow, that is very interesting. My understanding is the disc generates 65,536 different Jirachis, and all of them have the possibility of having a shiny counterpart. So the GC Celebi has no restrictions, but the GBA one does, whatever the restrictions may be. Does the Pikachu have any checks?
  14. Ok, so just to make sure I understand: All natures/characteristics/IV combos are possible with the WISHMKR being shiny?
  15. @Clear: Yes. Pre-existing Jirachis... Are they to be scrapped even if they fit the legal criteria, or is it possible someone received one? And are Ageto's status up in the air (both Celebi and Colosseum Pikachu) or is it guaranteed they are unable to be shiny?
  16. The Timid Jirachi that was distributed before B/W... what is your guys' verdict on it? O_O
  17. Yep, it worked just fine! Bashful and whatnot. Is this the only one possible, or is there a method to generate the other eight?
  18. Thank you for the info. Last thing I can think of for now is Faraway Island Mew. Shiny or not?
  19. Sorry to say this... It looks like your bro probably did the event. Sorry.
  20. A few days ago, along with MYTSRY, Negai Boshi and WISHMKR/Agetos, it was posted on the other thread about DOEL and SPACE C not being able to be shiny. I don't see that anymore, and although I'm fairly confident this is still the case, I just wanted to verify. Thanks a lot for the new version of Legal!
  21. Does the Celebi use the PokeShifter, or the Transfer Machine?
  22. So, the eggs that are included in this would be PCNY Wish, PCJP, and Pokebox, correct? Meaning, most likely the shinies that are around we either hacked, or someone changed their ID/SID, correct? Also, is it 100% that Ageto and WISHMKR cannot be shiny? Or is there some room for a slight maybe? Thanks for all the help/info, guys!
  23. It just seems to me more and more some of us are clinging to events in our collections that may not stand the test of time.
  24. Here's what Nintendo has told me. They know less of what's going on than we do. I need evidence/proof from Nintendo's site (I don't know where to look) that WIN2011 was distributed at both Mall Tour AND wide distribution Gamestops: Should I push the issue or let them think this so we can use it? O_o
  25. ... I seriously feel silly... Thanks. I thought you were saying I was lying. My bad. Thanks for the compliment.
