  1. The Legally-Complete Pokedex code (thus allowing Dream World)... YES! IT IS HERE! Bond697 has cleverly used the Pokedex Mod code generated by Codr's PokeGen program, and made a custom-set Pokedex code that DOES WORK for Pokemon White, English. (As of this moment, he hasn't posted a English Black code). Now, the thing special about this code is that it sets the Pokedex to be as MOST LEGALLY COMPLETE as it can be, thus allowing full access to the Pokemon Dream World. Also, he has created the same for Japanese White version (not Japanese Black, yet?) The code: A note: This code WILL work on any ARDSi that can use codes for B/W (has recent firmware). I don't know about ARDS (basic). However, it IS (for some reason, currently unknown to me) difficult to get it ONTO the ARDSi, via the ARDSi Manager program. The difficulty is that most times that you copy it over, the code will be blank or a duplicate of another code on the ARDSi (the one in the Manager's saved data will remain unchanged). After various things, such as resetting the ARDSi, copying just one code, copying several, copying several then it, in any order, it suddenly did transfer correctly. I tested the code out, and it worked. IT DOES WORK. I have also tested and verify that it WILL let you connect to the Dream World. Specifics: It has -Pokemon #001-#646 (Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect in the Dex will block Dream World) -All Pokemon's Forms/non-Shiny/Shiny --However, it does NOT have the Shiny forms for: ---Mew/Manaphy/Arceus/Victini/Zekrom/Reshiram --This is because (at least Victini/Zekrom/Reshiram) CAN NOT LEGALLY be seen in their Shiny form, thus block the Dream World. The other three have not been tested, but it was figured, better safe than sorry. If you want those Shiny forms, it won't kill you do just use the Wild Mod code to see them yourself. -Also, it has the International-Language Entries for all Pokemon (if any are missing, it won't be much work to get those few yourself).
  2. I haven't found any code to put Pokemon into the High Link Forest. And really, there's no point. If you're going to cheat for them, just use PokeGen (easily found, on this site, where it is developed and updated, thanks to Codr). If you want to catch them in the High Link, then do it the right way, from start to finish. Secret ID? What for? Use PokeGen for custom Pokemon. Why have their Secret/visible ID's the same as your regular? It makes them look more legal if they look as though they "were" traded/Shifted. It's not like you need to rename them later (and if you did, there's a code that allows renaming any Pokemon). Ok, edited version, AWESOME update! Codr has updated PokeGen to produce Pokedex codes that are still fully customizable AND will work on a regular ARDSi!!! So, if you want to set your Pokedex to be as fully-legally-possible as you want, with any quirks you desire, go ahead and hop over to the download link on this site. A note: This code WILL work on any ARDSi that can use codes for B/W (has recent firmware). I don't know about ARDS (basic). Known issue: For some reason, currently unknown to me, it is rather difficult/tricky to get it ONTO the ARDSi, via the ARDSi Manager program. The difficulty is that most times that you copy it over, the code will be blank or a duplicate of another code on the ARDSi (the one in the Manager's saved data will remain unchanged). After various things, such as resetting the ARDSi, copying just one code, copying several, copying several then it, in any order, it suddenly did transfer correctly. Legal Pokedex Specifics: -Pokemon #001-#646 are allowed. -Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect in the Dex will block Dream World, having not yet been released, and are thus NOT allowed. -All Pokemon's Forms/non-Shiny/Shiny --However, you should NOT have the Shiny forms for: ---Gen. I-IV: Celebi, Jirachi, Arceus (who are ONLY available via special event) ---Gen. V: Victini, Zekrom, or Reshiram (who have special coding PREVENTING legally seeing them in their Shiny form.) -Whatever International Pokedex Entries you want available. Obviously, this doesn't currently apply for Pokemon past #493, since the B/W Pokemon don't currently have coding for those. Lastly, a question: Why is this thread not Stickied, but the English-B/W Codes one is? Is it discrimination? Really, not trying to be offensive (I'm sure I am though... sorry.) but it is really weird, and seems rather unfair. Or... am I just not getting how something is Stickied? Like, it's only Sticky if it gets X-many posts per day? Sorry if that's what it is... ;
  3. Of course you can't do this without an Action Replay (or an equivalent cheating device). This is editing the game's save data, which is something you're not supposed to (be able to) do. What do you mean, it does not work? Does it not load the code? What is the error you get? I can personally confirm that these two codes (J-White/E-White) DO WORK. It's just a bit tricky to get onto the Action Replay, for some reason... ; It took me a while to do it; I still can't figure out what the issue is. (It will usually copy to the ARDSi as either a blank code, or as the same code as the one above it in the ARDSi's list. Weird...) Also, make sure that you are using an Action Replay DSi, AND that it's firmware is up to date (just use the AR Manager's update button). It MIGHT work on the regular ARDS, but I don't know. It WOULD have to be updated to the most recent firmware, which NOT ALL ARDS (basic) are capable of (such as mine T_T ).
  4. Huh. Well, as you say, it can't hurt to be cautious. If anyone wants those shiny, nothing's stopping them. As for the entries, like I said: meh. It's just 4 species out of 493, so I don't think anyone would really care (let alone that most people wouldn't likely even notice). Looking forward to E/J-Black's codes! >_<
  5. All right! >_< Will be testing as soon as I can! I'll update my findings as an edit. And good idea, with making the others non-shiny, just in case. If people want them Shiny (especially since they'd be cheating anyway) it wouldn't kill them to do a TINY bit of work themselves for that last little bit. Ah, actually, Mew CAN be Shiny, if it's a Japanese one brought up from Emerald Version's Far Away Island (that would be awesome to find it Shiny there, without any cheating! >_<). Also, since Manaphy hatches, I think it can too. But, meh. edit: um... well... first edit is this: I can't get it to load the new code, nor the E-White one. >_>; gonna keep trying. I KNOW it got on the ARDSi before, because I USED it on my friend's game! ; sigh... 2nd edit: YA HA! I don't know HOW I did it, but after some throwing codes on/off, resetting the thing, I don't know WHY it suddenly worked (instead of replacing the longer code for the Dex with something else, I don't know WHY it does that). I got it on! And am now checking the data. Results: -As stated, species 001-646 are all there, all forms, minus gift-event-only-Pokemon's Shiny forms (as well as Mew and Manaphy). -All International Dex entries are unlocked, with the exception of these: --485 Heatran: missing Ger/Spa/Kor --486 Regigigas-489 Phione: missing all 6 International Dexes (so, that's 27 Inter-dex entries missing) I'm not gonna cry over that. What you guys have done is AMAZING! Now I'm gonna save, and check the Dream World. Be back. And here it is! IT WORKS!!! I just "woke up" Suikun and then returned her to the Dream World!!! YES!!! It is confirmed, there is now a code that will set the Dex to a legally-complete state (with the noted 27 missing Inter-entries & 2 Shiny-forms) AND be able to connect to the Dream World! Bond697 and Codr, you are amazing! This is one of the best birthday gifts I could hope for! >_< If you produce this for E-Black and J-Black, I'll start to spread the word! >_< Hopefully I can also figure out what I had to do to get the code to transfer to the ARDSi and can post that as well... ; Oh, a side note: when I first tried connecting to the Dream World having just used this code, I was getting the Error Code 51099. So, remember: take out the AR before using the Wi-Fi... it somehow blocks it. ;
  6. ; unfortunately, I can't with his... we'd have to wait 24 hours (for the "different DS-clock matching thing"; his DS can't connect to our network), and I won't have access to his game that long. I wouldn't mind testing on my J-White though, if you don't mind. My J-Black doesn't have a Dream World connection, since I often reset that one for various things, such as just playing through again (which would make the account a waste).
  7. AMAZING!!! I used a friend's English White, and it worked! 646 seen, 646 caught (missing K/M/G), International entries unlocked, shiny forms for all but V/R/Z!!! YOU DID IT!!! >_< You. Are. COOL! Ah, but your black code didn't get posted... Though, actually... as selfish as it is, could you do the Japanese White (now that I know it works)? Or, maybe get the Black English/White Japanese/Black Japanese ones on as well? Man, I can't wait to spread the word with all four! >_< edit: Haven't tested for Dream World connection, but I can't see why it would have any issue.
  8. Really? Dang... T_T Still, if it works (and then similar for other region/versions), it might lead to at least finding a set of codes that gives ~95% completeness, which would be quite the accomplishment! I just wish I could be of help to this...
  9. Sorry, I knew it was a joke. It's all over the net... ; (I kinda do really wonder how it got started though. >_>; Even though I don't really want to know.) But... O_O All of a sudden you have a working one!? That the AR can actually handle? Gotta test this... (but I still don't get how to do the changes needed for the version/region change... T_T Look at what you changed relative to... the regularly-generated code from PokeGen? 'Cause that'd be a lot of lines to compare... [i always end up doing things the longest way, since I'm no good at understanding the shortcuts] Sorry...) Oh, and does it include the National Entries for 001-493 (those that it includes)? I know it's not a "big" thing, but it is something rather neat to have (and EXTREMELY time consuming to do manually...).
  10. Hm, thanks for the attempt... but which version/region is that for? I test on Japanese Black (I don't have English versions, and White is my gaming one). As to why it crashes at that point, it's probably the same issue as the small code: incomplete data, or something like that. When seen (before it crashes, unless the screen simply freezes), you can tell which Pokemon it happens on, because it will either show the wrong Pokemon (somehow) or it will have random glitched-up colors, or just be turned into a black/white 'coloring'. Also, does that include Victini's Shiny or not? (since it needs to not have it's Shiny, like with Zekrom/Reshiram [unknown if there are other problem-Shinies], and the total absence of Meloetta/Keldeo/Genosect. Well, since it doesn't reach them, it wouldn't include those others. ; ) ... "blow up an AR"? it'd take a lot more than a bad code to do that. Who started that idea in the first place? (rhetorical)
  11. Well, since the current code generated is 343 lines long... what's the maximum the ARDSi can handle? Would 176 lines work, if that was the only code on? It would be fine if someone had one that just simply set the Dex to as complete as 'possible' for each game-version/language, since that's what is probably most wanted anyway? Sorry, I'm not trying to sound demanding; no matter how hard I try, I just can't get my mind around how these all work, past the super super simple stuff, so I can't just do this myself... Bond697 As for the runty code, as I had said, it did (visibly, at least) affect a range of 20/40/60/80 Pokemon, depending of the variables. Test out what I said, if you don't get what I mean; it certainly does affect those ranges (How does your "131" equate to being 20, 40, 60, or 80?). I can't say I really understand what you were saying. Considering that it seems to always have some data half-entered in end (unless you do 000% or 100% complete), the code is useless anyway. I tested every single possibility with the variables I mentioned, and I completely doubt that it would make any difference to simply tweak those loops. Altering the number of Pokemon affected would be pointless if there's always something incomplete. So, I've given up on it. You're welcome to show me wrong on that though. I'd be more than happy to see that I'm just being a pessimist about a possible gold mine! ;
  12. Nope, no other customization is possible. You can only "choose" the species (groups). I don't know nearly enough about coding to try to figure out the rest of how it works, it was a miracle I figured out that much... It always unlocks the Shiny form of any forms that it unlocks (ex.: if it sets 4 of Rotom's 6 forms, always including basic form, as well as their matching Shiny). Not that I care about Shiny being unique... I actually wish some/most had more than one color-form, even if slightly! ; What do you mean "illegitimate shiny" ruining the Dex? I don't understand that at all... However... after much trial and error, I've only been able to conclude that the best you could hope for would be a not-quite-empty-the-Pokedex code. So far, it's always had a glitched image (I'm not sure what causes that, but it only seems to occur if one of the variable numbers is set to 0), and, if you set the last four numbers (which have the 6 problem Pokemon) to anything other than 0, it seems that they will SOMEHOW have some data set, even if you can't see it. So, I've given up on this. Dang, that hurts to say... I really don't like to give up on something that looked so promising. As of yet, the only thing I know works is PokeGen's Dex code. But, unless you HAPPEN to have the ARDSi-MicroSD card version, you can't actually make use of that code because it is extremely long, and the AR was stupidly built to not handle that much text. So, unless a NEW firmware is released that includes expanding the length a code can be and work, it looks pretty hopeless. edit: I keep getting messages that say a new reply has been posted to this forum, but I never see any past this one of mine... what's up with that?
  13. I haven't found this anywhere: AR code that completes the Pokedex EXCEPT for Shiny Victini/Reshiram/Zekrom & Keldeo/Meloetta/Genosect. The closest thing I've found is using PokeGen, which is fine and dandy IF you can use the monster of a code that comes out (which most ARDSi can not do) So... could a more compressed code be made? Heck, it'd be fine if it didn't even have Victini/Reshiram/Zekrom, since I can just trade for their normal forms. Sort of like the well-known TOTAL Complete Dex, just without those problem-mon. I should state, I use the Japanese versions, mainly White, but I want this for everyone in general, since I've got friends who would love it too, and they have English versions.
  14. I dunno what "stuff" you're worried about, but the data involved with PokeGen ONLY affects the generated Pokemon, nothing else in your game is affected. Well, you COULD over-right a Pokemon that already exists, by it being in the slot of your PC/party that it's being generated on... just don't put things in box 1, and you're totally safe. Though, unless it's TRULY "legit", then you won't be able to use the Pokemon in certain things, such as tournaments or the online battling system (accessed via the Global Link stations in each Pokemon Center). In fact, that's the best way to test for them. Oh, there is ONE major thing that can be affected: If you use the Pokedex Code feature to edit your Pokedex, and you have a Shiny Victini/Reshiram/Zekrom or any of Keldeo/Meloetta/Genosect as part of that (so they appear in the Dex), then you won't be able to use Game Synch to connect to the Dream World. (If you do, just use a different code that doesn't include any of them).
  15. As it is, it's impossible to have the Pokedex 100% completed AND be able to use the Game Synch. Here's why: When you start synching, the first thing it does is check your Pokedex. If you have data that should not be there, then it will block you with an error code. The problem data (as currently known) is these: Shiny Victini/Zekrom/Reshiram, and ANY Keldeo/Meloetta/Genosect. If they are in your Pokedex, you can not Synch. There IS a way to empty your Dex (set the FFFFFFFF line to 00000000, and save that as a separate code), and then if you catch just one Pokemon (so it's not empty) then you can connect just fine, then use the Complete Dex code to re-complete your dex after you're done with your daily Synch needs. Also, if you have PokeGen, it has a Pokedex option, that lets you fully customize what you want your Pokedex to have in it. Just exclude the problem Pokemon. However... that's only useful IF you can even use the code. It seems that ONLY the ARDSi MicroSDcard is able to use it (by accessing the code from the SD card), since it's so long it won't copy to the ARDSi itself if you use the manager. Yeah, the situation sucks if you don't happen to have that specific model... because that model is no longer available. Anywhere. I can't find it on Datel's own site, not on E-Bay, and not on Amazon. So good luck if that's the situation for you (it is for me).
  16. Ok, in advance, I really apologize if I come off sounding rude or demanding. It's my frustration coming through, as well as I seem to be consistently bad at picking a "good"/"polite" way to say things, so I just say it the way I would in person. Really, sorry. I've been really wanting to use the Pokedex feature, so that's where the frustration is coming from... Woah. So, you guys have been able to use the PokeGen Dex-generated code THROUGH AN ACTION REPLAY DS(i) to affect your game's Pokedex? I've tried it multiple times, and it always just freezes when it starts loading the codes. I have no others turned on, and it's an up-to-date ARDSi, on Japanese White/Black. Are you sure the code isn't just too long? Because that's what I've heard in multiple places... I've also heard something about a firmware update for the ARDSi, but that it only applies to the MicroSD-slot versions of the ARDSi. Does that mean the PokeGen Dex code ONLY works on an updated ARDSi-MicroSD-slot? Or should it work on a regular ARDSi that is up to date on firmware? And, if it DOES have to be the Micro SD version... where the heck can I buy one? I can't find one anywhere, not at stores, and not online (especially not on Datel's site...). If it's not really available, then it's not possible for many people to make use of PokeGen's Dex Code at all. So, is it possible you might consider looking into a way it could be shorter? Like, making it so certain options are always on, like the multi-languages and Forms and Shiny, and just have people choose the Pokemon? Maybe as an option, so you could still have the totally-customizable code as well? Sorry, I just had to ask, since I LOVE PokeGen, and would really be depressed to find that one of it's very best features is completely useless to me (and anyone else stuck in my boat). edit: Ok, after numerous tries, I FINALLY noticed that when I copy the code over to the ARDSi, it simply erases the code, or replaces it with a different code's data. No wonder it wouldn't work. So, does that mean that ONLY the MicroSD version works? If so, bummer. Edi2: I've kept looking around, and finally noticed the comments of AR's limitations. UGH. Sorry, I'd missed those; I guess that tells me it does require the MicroSD version... which I have no idea how to get. Sigh. Well, I'll keep hoping the code somehow gets shorter, or something; and I'll stop bugging around with requests for it. Again, sorry.
  17. edit: Ugh. Well, looks like this isn't gonna be much use after all. I haven't been able to find ANY combination that results in a Dex that will be glitch-free AND pass the check, even if the areas with any of the problem Pokemon are completely empty (set to 0). It keeps on producing at least one entry that has SOMETHING wrong with it (usually the image of the Pokemon is glitchy, resulting in a crash if it's seen.) So, the best I can see happening with this code is just making it produce a mostly-empty Dex, instead of just an empty one, for connecting to the PGL and then using the Complete-Dex code afterwards. sigh... I really wish that PokeGen's Dex code wasn't so HUMONGOUS! If only a fix for that were made soon... (I wouldn't mind if it automatically set any given Pokemon to have all Forms+Shiny and Languages (where applicable) for the desired Pokemon, if that would reduce the code-length. I'd then just trade or use the Encounter Code to get the non-Shiny of Victini/Zekrom/Reshiram to top it off.) Heh. That code is EXACTLY what I'm working on. If you didn't already notice, the difference between the Complete Dex and Empty Dex codes is that one has a line of "FFFFFFFF" and the other "00000000". These refer to groups of Pokemon affected. If you want to help me get this finished up as good as it can (since any other Dex-mod codes are WAY too long for an AR), I'll post what specific data I know about this code. I THOUGHT I'd finally gotten it right... but apparently not, since I get the error even with this version... T_T (Sorry it looks a bit funny in parts... I didn't take the time to account for TAB spaces while putting it together in Notepad. And I'm too lazy to fix it... ; Ah well. If it's going to make sense to you, it'll make sense.) Basic code's layout: (XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX) <---This area varies between each B/W game and each region. My posted examples use the Black (JP) and White (JP) info, respectively. To convert this code for other regions, just apply that region/game's code here. 0223d030 00001803 d5000000 [1234{5}{6}{7}{8}] <---THIS, the second set of 8 Hexadecimal digits, which I have NUMBERED 1-8 are the working numbers here, specifically 5-8. These are NOT their desired Hexadecimal numbers for the code. c0000000 00000131 d6000000 0223d034 d2000000 00000000 Each number in the brackets refers to a set of 80-84 Pokemon in the Pokedex, non-sequential. (Well, there IS a sequence, but I'm not gonna try to figure it out.) The variable sets which Pokemon are Seen&Caught, has MOST Forms&Shiny included (if a Form is missing, so is the Shiny for it). Language-dexes appear as well, but seem almost random; they're not that important anyway. X-variable | Packet's Pokedex Count Which PGL-blocking Pokemon are in which packet (An "------" means it's a good one for the PGL) (0-F) 1-5 6 7-8 Packet 5 Packet 6 Packet 7 Packet 8 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0 | 00 00 00 | (none in packet) 1 | 20 21 21 | ------ Genosect ------ ------ 2 | 20 20 21 | Victini ------ ------ ------ 3 | 40 41 42 | Victini Genosect ------ ------ 4 | 20 20 21 | ------ ------ Keldeo Reshiram 5 | 40 41 42 | ------ Genosect Keldeo Reshiram 6 | 40 40 42 | Victini ------ Keldeo Reshiram 7 | 60 61 63 | Victini Genosect Keldeo Reshiram 8 | 20 20 21 | ------ ------ Meloetta Zekrom 9 | 40 41 42 | ------ Genosect Meloetta Zekrom A | 40 40 42 | Victini ------ Meloetta Zekrom B | 60 61 63 | Victini Genosect Meloetta Zekrom C | 40 40 42 | ------ ------ Keldeo & Meloetta Zekrom & Reshiram D | 60 61 63 | ------ Genosect Keldeo & Meloetta Zekrom & Reshiram E | 60 60 63 | Victini ------ Keldeo & Meloetta Zekrom & Reshiram F | 80 81 84 | (all in packet) Packets 6-8 (and others likely) may have glitches when viewed in the Pokedex if the rest of the resulant numbers are mostly set to ZERO or possibly other low numbers. -To avoid this, using a fairly completing code should work (ie: 100% complete, mostly complete, 000% complete) ---------------------------------------------- I had THOUGHT that the desired setting would be: "FFFFDE33" (since it excludes all 6 problem Pokemon), but it won't let me on with that set (also caught Zekrom, Reshiram, and Victini for their normal sprites. So... I'm starting to wonder if there's something else that's included in the check, like for Shiny Arceus/Celebi/ or others that CAN NOT LEGALLY be obtained in their Shiny form in any game since Gen III (must have been Event Shiny or catchable in either Gen III/GenIV/GenV, I would suppose.) Anyone want to help test for others that could be issues? Also, it could be that those codes are still unlocking data in the Dex relating to those main 6 Pokemon, but it doesn't become visible... I dunno.
  18. -As for re-battle/Event-trigger codes, I have looked and looked and found NONE that really worked. Sadly, it's thus far been just a waste of space to ask for them. If you want them, try more searching and good luck. Heck, I've been looking for these since I beat the game (back in October, so yeah, I've been looking a while). The one I want is to re-trigger the events for going to N's Castle! >_< So far, the only "Event" codes I've seen work (as in, done successfully myself) are NONE. Not one has ever worked. I have, on the other hand, used PokeGen to make exact duplicates (unless they have a pre-set PID...?). I'd rather have event-proper ones, but... T_T Same goes for Victory Island. Every code I've tried for it for my Black (I'm not gonna reset my White just to test that) has successfully failed. (funny huh? ; ) -You want specific IV's? Simple advice: Use PokeGen. Seriously, if you're gonna mod it anyway, just go the whole way and make it completely how you want it. You could look for a code to do that, but... it's just not as efficient/safe to mod an existing Pokemon. Edit: Sorry, never mind if you saw that code. I've re-checked it... and it has Shiny Victini/Zekrom/Reshiram, which ALSO result in being blocked. GAH! Well, I'll keep trying for a good code. T_T Anyone that could help would be much appreciated!
  19. Ok, another annoyingly-written-but-useful post from, ME! -To change the trigger for codes, it's the first line of code (all 16 digits). I forget the trigger list though. It's not that hard to find one, there's a list of them posted somewhere on most forums that have codes listed. Google is your friend (if you're good at searching; if not, now's as good a time as any to become so). -I KNOW there must be a code for all the Meds x900, because I have a working one for my Japanese versions (includes feathers and all). Same for each pocket (except for Key Items. It's just not smart to generate Key Items, believe me.) There is an oddity I've seen in some earlier item codes (and thus often re-posted...) that have TOO MUCH in the code, thus generating several slots of items from the wrong pocket or even blank slots, so be sure to check fully before saving. Of course, those slots can be over-written by setting them at the top of the list and using the Wild Modifier Code to turn them into "legit" Master/Ultra Balls. -If you aren't being allowed to connect to the PGL, I have a question: Does your Pokedex have the entries for Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect at all? If so, you're blocked, because it does a Pokedex check (like how Random Match does a team check). The answer (if that's the case) is the purpose of my newest post: Have your Pokedex MOSTLY completed! So long as it doesn't have: -Keldeo/Meloetta/Genosect or -Shiny Victini/Reshiram/Zekrom you should be able to connect. Also, another thing that can block connecting is if you have saved the game while it was in a different DS; if so, you have to wait 24 hours from when you save again on the one you want to connect. I just re-checked and noticed this code DID include those three Shinies... T_T Sorry. I'll keep trying for this, and post if I find a proper one! Anyone willing to help out would be appreciated!
  20. No, it can't be split (I've tried). And the code is simply WAY too long for the AR/ARDSi. (It's always 343 lines; I don't know the limit, but I estimate... around 150-250 lines?) I've been looking for an alternate solution, since Pokegen's might be some time before it works, but no luck so far. Only ideas I have: 1) Just keep plugging away at catching them (using the Wild-Mod and Wild Shiny codes speeds it up a lot, since you can just throw a MasterBall used for the code, and then just go straight to the next Pokemon down the line. 2) You CAN use PokeGen to make up to 5 Pokemon at once (Dex not included), and then trade them to the game you want the entries on. Note: DO NOT get the entries for Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect. Doing so will block you from the Global Link until you use a code to remove those entries (Only way known currently is the Empty-Dex code. Completely sets the Dex to nothing seen, nothing caught.)
  21. DarkReprize, no, having items won't affect your PGL connection. The ONLY thing that affects that is the Pokedex (The system does a Pokedex check when you try to connect. It's similar to the Global Link Battle connection, which checks the team you're using for legality.) Sorry that your other post was deleted (I had nothing to do with that). Some people care more about enforcing rules than helping, from time to time. (I learned that the hard way when I first started using forums) Of course, the rules do need to be reinforced, but a warning first would be a lot more helpful to the problem. (Really, nothing against mods. You guys have saved me a lot of trouble with your helpful knowledge!) As to your problem, you probably hadn't waited long enough. I would expect that by now you've already connected, so this comment is a waste... oh well. Anyway, back to topic: No, there can not be a code to complete the Pokedex without blocking Dream World, as it checks the Pokedex when you try to connect. As it is, there are few options: -Catch and trade like normal. -Wild mod works too, to speed up catching. -Use Pokegen (limit of 5 Pokemon at a time, then have to turn off/on to load a new code) -Use Pokegen's Pokedex Code (As of current, it is WAY too long to work on an AR/ARDSi [results in a "White Screen of Nothing" on starting the game {NOT "...of Doom", it will not damage the game, just fails to load it}], so this isn't exactly feasible. However, if a way is found for it to work, it would allow COMPLETE control of the Pokedex's entries, so you could have everything totally complete except for the last three. Then, when they become legally available, you could just get them and add them in!) If you DO use a Complete-Dex code, there is currently only one fix: The Empty-Dex Code. One has been made for each Language Region, so if you need it, just search for it (PLEASE don't go needlessly posting requesting it. Just find your game's region's Code Thread and use Search for it)
  22. I know this is a couple months past, but I've been really wanting to be able to use the Dex code too, since the standard one is just an All-fill (which, as we now know, blocks the PGL by having the last three entries), which is fixed by the All-empty code. Anyway. I was wondering: perhaps Lynxx is doing it not quite correctly? As I understand it, the problem is that too many lines of code are being input all at once for the AR (it's the same as doing codes through Gecko for Smash Bros. Brawl, only there is an easy fix for that). Is it possible that the code needs to be split up and then each segment activated completely separately from the others? However, I'd think that means you'd have to find the point where a portion of the code comes to a proper end so you don't cut off part of any entry. Of course, that's assuming that the code generates the data on an entry to entry basis, in which case it wouldn't be so huge to just do one entry at a time. However, even that is humongous... is that because it is telling the rest of the Dex to be empty perhaps? I think it would help a lot if we understood how the code is generated in the first place... is it possible Codr could let us know? Sorry for bothering you. edit: I can confirm that you can't break the code into parts (at least, not in any way that's easy to divide). So, I figured I'd just take a look at the code itself and try to figure it out: -The code generated is 343 lines long, regardless of what you want to have it generate. I guess that's the whole set of Dex data. -The left half (first set of 8 digits) are complete matches for each code variant. The right half (second set of 8 digits) is where the actual changes to the Dex are identified. -There are several "segments" in the code, which I will list as I suspect them to be, as well as what I suspect they designate to be affected: --Line 001: "Trigger" (Whatever you set the code's trigger button(s) to be) --Lines 002-009: "Features" (Obtained, National, Search/Form Viewer) -I'm pretty certain this is accurate, as it's the only difference between a code with/without those on/off. (In other words, don't just remove them, unless you don't have the Pokedex yet.) --Lines 010-031: (Last line relates to Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect, hence the section break.) --Lines 032-052: (Last line relates to Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect, hence the section break.) --Lines 053-094: (Last line relates to Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect, hence the section break.) --Lines 095-136: (Last line relates to Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect, hence the section break.) --Lines 137-154: (It's mostly "00000000", though the it has some numbers throughout.) --Lines 155-199: (No idea; it's ALWAYS "00000000" here.) --Lines 200-220: (I have no idea. It's ALWAYS "00000000" here.) --Lines 221-327: (Again, no idea. I didn't test much here, but it looks like it might either always be "00000000" or "FFFFFFFF"; I didn't see any change with Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect turned off.) --Lines 328-342: (Beats me. It DOES has some direct relation to which Pokemon are selected however, since it was different with Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect turned off.) --Line 343: "Finish Line" (As described by Codr") Note: Lines 010-342: If it's an empty Dex, it will be "******** 00000000" for the rest of the whole code. I tested by creating three codes: -one with EVERYTHING completely unlocked -one with everything completely unlocked except for Keldeo, Meloetta, & Genosect -one with NOTHING unlocked whatsoever. Each had the same trigger (Select) and target game/region (Black/Japan) Sorry if this was a big waste of your time to read, but I had fun putting this together. >_<;
  23. Ok, this is really sad. As much as I don't like it being the common answer: Have any of you really checked past messages for codes that do what you want??? For getting ANY given Pokemon, in any combination of abilities, attacks, etc. or even being the same as an Event Release, USE POKEGEN. If you're looking for an Event-Pokemon's code, that's gonna be how they got it in the first place, so your's won't be any different (if you design it right). If you don't know how that works, you should at least know that their code might not be exact (we hope it will be, but still, not all of us are completely careful, even when we try to be). For complete Pokedex... Don't. Or: Use only if you have no interest in the Global Link and all it's presents and treats (FREE ARCEUS IN DREAM WORLD, OH YEAH!). It WILL block you as long as you have Keldeo, Meloetta, or Genosect at ALL in your Dex., hence my posting of the Empty Pokedex code two pages back (Does the inverse of the Complete Pokedex code, obviously) Just use Pokegen or the Wild Mod code to find what you're looking for. (technically, Pokegen can also make a Pokedex code for any combination of a customized Pokedex. As far as I've tested, however, the lines of the code are longer than the Action Replay DSi can handle. ; ) If you want something involving items... seriously? Just use the ALL ITEMS code(s). Just DO NOT use any code that generates Key Items. Yeah, this is in response to the dude wanting Hihidaruma. Or, you could just BREED them... You can even catch a Ditto in-game, no trading necessary! Also, do a bit more playing of your game, and you would have found out this unbelievable tidbit: YOU GET MORE! Really? More Ragecandybars?! No way! ... seriously? Yeah, I just listed the three ways in reverse order of importance.
