  1. Just use File -> backup memory and select the dsv instead of the sav.
  2. File -> Export Backup Memory will produce a sav file which is what you should be editing, when you're done File -> import Backup memory, selecting the edited sav file when prompted
  3. My guess is that it's because your SID isn't generated until When you first press the A button upon Birch calling for help (iirc, that's when it occurs).
  4. So I'm relatively certain that the battery in my original silver cartridge is dead because when I boot the system the ingame clock has changed little to none. For example: I booted it up one day it said Tues 10:04 pm, a two or three days later I boot it up it says Tues 10:13 pm which makes sense because i had only played for like 10 minutes. I'm afraid to take the cart out of my gba sp because I've invested over 140 hours into it and I'm assuming that my system battery is supplying the power. If any body knows a way i can backup my save without taking it out of the system, like making something like an XBoo cable I'd be grateful. EDIT: So I just tried it (3/7/14 12:44 am GMT +8) and it's dead, so there's basically no point in responding to this thread.
  5. Search the forums for a program called Ciro's pokemon maker it has the ability, for various code formats.
  6. 1. Using this guide backup your platinum cartridge save. 2. Get a platinum rom (google) put it on your cyclods along with your backed up save, which you have renamed to be the same file name as your rom. 3. Then using two active sessions of pokegen (one with the dimond save loaded, one with platinum save) copy all your pokemon from diamond via drag and drop. 4. Using the same utility, put your edited save back on your cartridge. 5. From there, poketransfer to black with the platinum in your ds lite and black in your 3ds 6. load pokemon from black into pokebank. 7. swap black with x. 8. using pokebank load pokemon into x.
  7. The target game is mostly used for loading save files, but if a fourth gen target is set then the pkm file will be in a different format than if a fifth gen target is chosen.
  8. For one thing a kangaskhan from orre cannot have scrappy until it's transfered to x/y and that ability switching item used on it. edit: Also i dont think it's possible to rng on a real gcn. So those IV's would be nearly impossible to obtain.
  9. File -> Export Backup Memory
  10. I was thinking maybe we could implement a languagefilter setting, that users would set when the register, so that when a member types a Pokemon, or move name, the filter displays it as the appropriate foreign equivalent determined by the viewing users setting. i.e. Pokemon : English: ljxfbvosklubvdkas Bulbasaur shdbiuswbivsw. German ljxfbvosklubvdkas Bisasm shdbiuswbivsw. Move: English kjhsdbvksj Pound. German: kjhsdbvksj Pfund. Etc.

  13. I dont have the latest version, but I do have v3.0, but the zip file is too big, perhaps somebody with the ability to upload a ~2.6 mb file could pm me their email, i'll email it to them and they can upload it.
  14. All you really need is a slot 1 flash cart and a NDS system with a GBA slot, then you can use http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?12405-A-tool-to-backup-HG-SS-saves to backup, and http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?31254-A-Save-(3rd-Generation-Save-Editor) to edit.
  15. I just noticed there's no information for bytes 0x72 and 0x73 on the wiki, it goes straight move 4 id at hatching to the iv's. EDIT: Also 0xc8 -0xd0
  16. So basically I found this calculator tool, that can process txt files. necessary info(values can be hex or decimal[big endian in all cases]): PID Trainer ID Secret ID To operate: Input the values for TID and SID (first two lines) in either txt file using appropriate format if you're using "For calc (hex).txt" PID in hex "xxxxyyyy" x for PIDhigh y for PIDLow in txt file example: hex editing pkm/x file if you're using "For calc (dec).txt" just type the pid as you see it example: PID finder in Pokegen run program File -> Open/Run select appropriate txt if ans is 0 the pokemon is shiny. To download program goto http://www.zoesoft.com/console-calculator/ccalc-manual/ the txt files are zipped and attached. for calc.zip
