Since 2 months I've been unable to make as much progress as I wanted. 3.1 is around the corner and needs me to do one final big effort, but I wouldn't count on it being soon unfortunately...

@Giazardon There’s actually really limited data in the Hall of Fame. The tool basically re-genning/recreating the Mon (it is nothing like rescuing the Mon from some long lost corner of the save) Without much valid info, (and given my code isn’t that smart nor am I motivated enough to deal with odd cases) that tool incorrectly (for this case) gave IVs that would lead to Method 1. You could use Pokefinder to find the correct IVs it should have (I don’t remember the algo for PIDIV 10ANNIV should have, but looking at a copy from the mystery gift database should inform you)

Hello all! I hope this is the right place to ask this, but is it possible if anyone could help me recover/potentially repair my Pokemon Black save file? How it happened (could help explain how it corrupted??): I closed the lid on my DS and then after about 5 minutes later I came back to turn it off using the slider (I did NOT open the lid when I turned it off) After a bit I came back to play Pokemon Black again and in the R4 card menu, I found that the game AND sav file were both gone and I could not locate them What I Did After: Using a data recovery software I WAS able to pick up my sav file back but after running it through PKHeX it threw and error and wasn't able to read it (0x80000). I then used a Hex editor to view the sav file. I'm unfamiliar with Hex editing/viewing in general, but it *appears* the data is mostly there(??) I'm unsure if this is junk data or if its something someone with more knowledge than me can work with and help me on This specific save file means a lot to me sentimentally so if anyone could give me any closure on it/help me with it I would be more than grateful! 5585 - Pokemon - Black Version (DSi Enhanced)(USA) (E)(SweeTnDs).SAV
