  1. It's really only a "paywall" if you're getting the pokeball exclusively for Mew. It's intended to replace the "Go Plus" peripheral, which costs around $20 USD. In my opinion, it's worth the extra $30 from the Go Plus because of the LGPE in-game bonuses that you will get from using it with Pokemon Go. The fact your pokemon will spin pokemon stops for you automatically is incredibly lucrative to me, especially because having to push the button on the peripheral or look down at my phone may be considered rude depending on what I'm doing while I'm out. It also doubles as a controller for the game, which I do find nice. (And controllers for the switch vary from $25 for the classic controller to like $75 for joycons or the Smash Brother controller) As for the "paywall" price, it's really not that bad compared to some other ones. I know I'm jaded since I've been playing for 20 years, but wish I could've gotten Mew for $50 back in 1998. As far as I remember, you needed to win a giveaway to obtain one. It was gameshark (which was probably around $30) or bust since the Mew glitch wasn't going to be discovered for another 5 years. But for real paywalls... Some serial codes go for over $100 on eBay even on the day they were going to expire. (am I still salty I didn't get to buy this code because of the price? Probably) Any real life events (which is pretty much exclusively how Japan gives out it's mythical pokemon per gen. Gotta go to the movies to get Zeraora) will cost you something to attend. It could be next to nothing if it's local, or it could cost several thousand dollars because of airfare + lodging. For this Mew, my issue is more that it only once, rather than once per profile. If you buy both games, it's probably not worth getting a second one unless someone else in your household plays Pokemon Go. I imagine this will end up being an item scalpers will pick up if there is no end date distribution, as only unused ones will contain the Mew still. (See: Pokemon Ranger which the cheapest new English copy costing $150 USD on eBay. This is the only way to get a manaphy with your OT, and if the manaphy egg was claimed from the game already, no way to get a second one. You need to use external tools to erase the save so you can obtain another one if you purchase it used.)

  2. Yessssssssss. I can 100% confirm that using up ALL the one-time move tutors will naturally spawn the Heart Scales. Although, it was probably only triggered by using up a particular move tutor. I took no chances and did them all just to cover all bases. I FINALLY found all the Leaf Green hidden items, I can finally rest easy .

  5. As the title said. In Let's go, iirc, there is no day care, so eggmoves are not possible. I suggest you to remove them from green learnables moves. Some examples: https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/20/18112010104967881.png https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/20/181120101049169198.png https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/20/181120101049426766.png https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/20/181120101049684426.png https://nsa39.casimages.com/img/2018/11/20/181120101049942596.png

  6. Ok, so actually there is a day care, but there is no breeding mechanic: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-11-20-pokemon-lets-go-walkthrough-guide-5010?page=15

  7. Sorry, I didn't make any backups per tutor. I just wanted to get it over with because it was a hassle tracking them all down one by one. I saved immediately after I got all 4 because I was so glad I found everything and didn't wanna risk losing my progress. Thinking back, the developers probably intended for the Heart Scales to ONLY spawn after using up all (or some) in-game move tutors as some form of RSE-related irony. At least the mystery of the hidden Heart Scales has been solved lol.

  8. why am I surprised that people are salty that it's "locked behind paywall". The enforcement is locked by Pokemon Go/Niantic: You can't trade or transfer Mythical Pokemon, as they only get one per account, and won't get extras (excluding Meltan) [I forgot about Deoxys. But they didn't remove the Trade ban on Deoxys, so my point at least partially stands, that they block Mythical trades] If people could get MORE than one Mew, and they continue to enforce that, then I'll wholeheartedly agree with you. But for now, the transfer-lock is done by Niantic, not GF.

  9. @InsaneNutter I took screenshots too, but I've been too busy playing, and not sure if they're as detailed as yours. I've added them to the event gallery

  10. It appears it is one Mew per Pokeball Plus, I received the Mew on Lets Go Pikachu, then started a game on Lets Go Eevee, delivered Oak's parcel to unlock the functionality to communicate with the Pokeball Plus, however was told "This Pokeball Plus doesn't contain any Pokemon presents." I then went back to Lets Go Pikachu on and put Mew on the Pokeball Plus to go for a walk, then tried again to receive him on Lets Go Eevee, however was told the Pokeball Plus doesn't contain any presents. You also can't return a Pokemon from a walk on a different game, otherwise you get told someone else Pokemon is on the ball and the results from the walk will be deleted. Screenshots below of when i received my Mew: This appears when the Pokeball Plus is connected for the first time: The receiving Mew process: Message that is displayed when trying to obtain a Mew on a different game, after already receiving a Mew: Message displayed when trying to take a Pokemon from a different game for a stroll with a Pokemon already on the Pokeball Plus from a different game: If nothing else screenshots to preserve as much as this unique event as possible. It's going to be a rare thing getting an event Pokemon on a unique piece of hardware like this.

  11. I have the same problem with the Heart Scales. They aren't there, and I'm sure I didn't take them, as I didn't even know they supposedly existed. edit: Apparently someone documented the internal IDs for the hidden items: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=399026 If the event flags also ascend in a similar style, knowing the before or after event flag IDs of the items in the same order, would have been enough XD edit2: Nest Ball in Rocket Warehouse. When obtained, 1068 -> Set If the flags are sequential, 1064 to 1067 are the tanoby heart scales. Gonna test it. edit3: HAHAHAHAHA I was right. Unsetting those four flags allowed all 4 heart scales to appear in the game. Final edit (Probably): Based on the table and the numerical difference, I came up with a new table that attempts to match the flag ID with the internal ID. Note that it is likely not accurate, as the Big Pearl ID doesn't match @cicciochiave previously reported id. However, it's a good indicator for flag values in the range, as it clearly worked for the 4 heart scales. Table for various hidden items and event flag ID. Table is in the spoiler below:

  12. Do we need to do something (talk to someone or other...) before we can find the Heart Scales? I used the Itemfinder in the spots where the scales should be, but nothing was found... I'm sure I didn't collect them already ?

  13. Hi, for the Big Pearl at Trainer Tower you need to unset flag 1185 As for the Heart Scales, i can't find them... in every island of the Tanoby Ruins the Itemfinder didn't find anything, but they should be there ?
