    PKHeX is a save editor for core-series Pokémon games. With it, users can manipulate various save files including: .sav, .dsv, .dat, .gci, .raw, and .bin types. PKHeX can also read and write: .pk files, which are individual Pokémon files, and .pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc, which are Mystery Gift files.

    Version 24.03.26 of PKHeX has been released, bringing fixes and improvements since the latest release. See the changelog for further details.

    PKHeX requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.0 to run. If you receive an error when trying to run, ensure you have it installed.

    Take note that other related applications will still need time to update, and updated versions of Plugins or SysBot may not be immediately available.

     - - Fixed: Handled some edge cases with latest release RNG Frame checks for Gen4.
     - - Added: Verification for Gen3 CHANNEL and MYSTRY seed patterns.
     - Added: Gen4/5 API now supports reading/writing battle videos to the savefile object.
     - Fixed: Gen5 Entree Forest in Misc now saves correctly. If broken, open the editor on the previous release and save again.
     - Fixed: Event Flag diff now works as intended. Pokedex button restored for some save formats (regression from last release).
     - Changed: Plugin error messages will now more clearly indicate they are an issue with plugins rather than PKHeX's fault.
     - Fixed: Gen4 Daycare seed set now works as intended, no longer corrupts Daycare slot 2.

    What do you do if PKHexprovides an error like below?

    Invalid: Clone detected (Details).
    [main @ [02] (Box 2)-02: 0759 - Stufful - C7FE4E00E97B.pk7]
    [main @ Resort-25: 0759 - Stufful - C80D4E00E97B.pk7]

    I believe this is due to Pokemon Pelago essentially creating ghost duplicates of pokemon in the boxes.

    Hi, I would like to know, in ORAS, if I use PKHex to get the shiny charm, will it work from the start or do I have to wait to get it from the NPC ?

    I am using Pokemon Ultra Sun and am adding ribbons to Pokemon that were transferred from Gen. 3. When I try to add contest ribbons from ORAS it pops up as invalid. If anyone has any recommendations I'd appreciate it.

      Since they released over a decade ago, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games for the Nintendo DS have not had much in the way of ROM editors. Over the past few years, hackers have slowly learned more and more about the inner workings of the games, culminating in the most advanced PMD editor to date: Sky Temple.
