No matter what combination I use to find which one is causing the problem, it always fails, leading me to believe that there is something wrong with all of them. RyMann88 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I know the moves are legit, I verified the moves given can be legitimatly learned in White. Also, I set the hometowns in PokeGen. Guess I'll just keep playing around until I get it. At least Legal will allow me to check before I waste time and send the .pkm files over only have have it fail. Thanks guys.

Kabutops84 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I did and it just sits there. How long does it take to usually run? I unzipped the file and double clicked Legal.exe to bring up the command box...is there anything else that I should have done?

Chief Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. I'm able to make pokemon on the poke gen and then use the legality checker for 4th and below gen only. Any 5th gen pokemon and it freezes on me. Am I missing something? For example I poke gen'd a garchomp and haxorus, I was able to check the garchomp BUT the haxorus froze the checker. Is it just 5th gen pokemon that freeze it? Because I made the garchomp hatched in pokemon black.

Chief Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 I understand, that's why I'm asking, it's working for 4th gen pokemon that I hatched in 5th gen. It's just specifically not working for 5th gen pokemon themselves.

Kabutops84 Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Can this program pick up on "illegal moves"? If not, are any egg or move tutor moves from the previous generation that are "illegal" now? I'm making all of my pokemon "hatched" by the way.
Sabresite Posted April 21, 2011 Author Posted April 21, 2011 The next version will be FULLY comprehensive of all 3rd gen pal parked pokemon, all 4th gen pokemon, and all 3rd gen and 4th gen pokeshifted to 5th gen. Because the next version is COMPREHENSIVE, it will take time to finish.

Lynxx Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 you will need to get a program called ir-gts, quick google search should bring you to it. once you get that installed, you will need to make sure you have access to wifi, change your DNS settings on your DS to what it instructs you to change it too. and then when that is all set, you will go to the GTS, and deposit the pokemon you want to Legit check and that should send the pokemon to your computer should look like POKEMONNAME.pkm you then want to drag that file on legal.exe

Lynxx Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 you don't have to have net framework 2.0 any version after that will work, so just Download the most recent net framework.
Sabresite Posted April 23, 2011 Author Posted April 23, 2011 You need to download the .NET Framework 2.0 if you have windows xp. Windows Vista/7 come with it preinstalled. Considering that Windows XP is now fully phased out, the new version will be upgraded to requiring .NET Framework 4.0.
PokemonAndDBZ Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I downloaded this software and it's up and running, but I don't know how to input my pokemon's data or anything. What do I need to do? Edit: I download ir-gts too. Re-Edit: What is a .PKM file?
