LabregoPT Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 So I was playing Emerald with mGBA because someone heavily recommended it, and wanted to trade a Machoke with myself to evolve. I opened the second game with the same .sav and successfully traded, but as I got to the point where the game automatically saves, my main window froze with a black screen and the second one kept saving. Moments later, I got an error screen saying that it couldn't save, and then I was sent to title screen. Second game just had that "Connection error" black screen and I closed it. Right after I got to the title screen with my main window, I decided to open the game and save, and I found myself stuck in this place. Funny thing is I'm not even playing as the male character xD Anyway, I'm gonna attach my .sav here and see if any of you can help me get out of there and go back to a normal game pokemon_esmeralda_esp.sav 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
shadowofdarkness Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 I do not know how to fix it, but my guess is the two instances of the emulator both tried writing to the save file at the same time which caused the problem of corrupting the data. Chaostic Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 You can try to change the cords to a place like your house. If that doesn´t work make a backup of your save, then copy all your Pokemons with PKHeX, then start a new file an add all your Pokemons to your PC. Popular sav editors like PkHex or A-Save don't have any option for coordinates for gen 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted June 26 Share Posted June 26 I also need help, I have the same problem, accept it happened right after I won a battle, here's everything on what happened; I searched up on how to mega evolve my Pokemon, Google said you had to make the Pokemon you want to mega evolve hold a mega stone and then tap use during battle. but when I tried to make a Pokemon hold a mega stone, it didn't work, so I thought, "okay, might as well register the mega stone and tap select during battle, I guess." Didn't work, so after I demolished the opponent, I started to repeatedly tap the select button while it was still transitioning me out of the battle, and it opened up me inventory, I closed it out... And got this screen.And I honestly don't know what to do, I tried saving it, re-loading, closing it out, re-open the app, and then repeat the process a million times!!! Also some important information, I'm not using a switch, I got this game on my Amazon Fire Tablet using Aptoide, a remake, but still emerald.Any ideas? Also, no one is allowed to say, "Oh, just restart the game." BECAUSE I CAUGHT THE LEGENDARY POKEMON LATIAS, SO I WILL DO ANYTHING TO SAVE MY POKEMON, I WILL RESET MY PROGRESS, JUST AS LONG AS THERE IS A WAY TO SAVE MY POKEMON...
