jojo12100 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 Hi, do we know how wild Pokemon are generated in the Pelago? I'm searching a fast way to get the underleved Kadabra but I'm also curious to know how to generate or even encounter the others ^^ Thanks in advance.
jojo12100 Posted February 23, 2017 Author Posted February 23, 2017 (edited) Apparently there is a glitch changing your 3ds time to 31/01/2017 23:59 when it becomes 01/02/2017 all your activities are done. But it doesn't work for me, don't know why. Edit: It's because I'm using a Gateway. Any app to change the time? Youtube Edited February 23, 2017 by jojo12100
skywalker25 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I don't know if all poke pelago pkms have the same level range. but if they do, you can use any pokepelago .pk7 file as template in pkhex and just change the species and any relevant information.

The "official" nintendo SDK "CONFIG" app can change the raw rtc clock, thus not triggering the games "time protection" (or whatever is called). (Also, why not just use a cfw?) I have a question of my own: is rufflet/vullaby available in the pelago for moon/sun respectively (they are version exclusives, but I'm not sure about the pelago...)

They are available in Pelago but are same exclusive than versions according to Serebii and Bulbapedia. Yesterday there was a Kadabra in my Pelago but it fled I'm so sad, I tried all tricks I found but none worked. @theSLAYER Do you know if there's a tool that can load/dump Pokemon from the Pelago? Like in "DreamForest" in BW ? Edited February 25, 2017 by jojo12100

suloku Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I've been collecting lots of pelago mons in my sun, I think I have one of each by now, but I only used the pelago after beating the elite 4, so all is 50+ level (including two kadabra). Maybe someone is interested in a collection of pelago pk7? I don't really think there's much to them besides the pelago being met location (the most interesting for me was trevenant, as that is a trade evolution).

That cool be a good idea if people are not interested by underleved and just want for collection. Change your OT for PPOrg just. Still have the bonus of my Totem Quest for you if you help me to get this *** Kadabra! (and I'm pretty sure you'll like it)
Holla! Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 In case anyone didn't see it in my post here I found the offsets for the Pokemon and was able to pull/modify them. Visiting Pokemon 1: 3C4AE Visiting Pokemon 2: 3C59A Visiting Pokemon 3: 3C686 2

Edit: My bad, it doesn't work like that. I still have to wait a wild Kadabra but I can 100% get it when it'll appear. Why didn't I dump my sav when it was there? Edited February 26, 2017 by jojo12100
jojo12100 Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 Got a lv13 Kadabra thanks to that method, come on such a false hope.
suloku Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Well, this is unexpected, I thought the game would just be some species IDs and maybe some byte that decides if the pokémon stays or leaves, but if they are uncompleted pokémon, getting them edited this way is only editing the species, most of the relevant data is already generated... The game probably uses the same method to generate them from a species table, so I guess it should be safe, but for example entralink forest in gen 5 was more simple and in fact properly editing makes them fully legit (or legal, I always confuse the terms). In any case, good findings! ps: I think I'm still missing some pelago mons, I'll upload a full collection for anyone interested when I have them all, and as suggeste I'll use pporg.
jojo12100 Posted February 27, 2017 Author Posted February 27, 2017 I thought the level of wild Pokemon depended on events such as Firium Z obtained ... but not I got a lv17 Drifblim just after Kiawe so it'll be harder to get the one I want (totally RNG dependent).
jojo12100 Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 Got a lv12 Kadabra today, come on. I noticed that in order to get the low level you just have to get the first level island. Wild pokemon will be lv11-14 ! 1
jojo12100 Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 My bad, I got a lv17 Magnemite in lv1 Island I have a new theory: what if the level of the wild Pokemon depends on how much wild Poke is there? I mean yesterday 1 alone lv12 Kadabra, today 1 lv17 Magnemite and 1 lv14 Carbink.
jojo12100 Posted March 3, 2017 Author Posted March 3, 2017 Got a single lv17 Shellder. So apparently wild Pelago mon are purely random-leveled RNG
jojo12100 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 It seems in fact that the level is determined before the RNG/Nature. I was able to reset the Nature just by saving before seeing a Kadabra but it never changes the level of it. Is it a good news or a bad news according to you?
