If you got them from the Event Gallery, they are perfectly fine. Pretty sure it was determined that getting them from Dream Radar is what activates the flag for the mirror event. If you want it, you should buy the game. It's not that expensive anyway.

PokeGen and PikaEdit (pokemon editing software) dont have X/Y capabilities yet. If you want a Genesect, I suggest you use Pokecheck to download one and then use Bank to store it before downloading it to your copy of Pokemon X or Y
