Hey there!

Can someone help me? You see, I keep getting the same error code on my DS: 13274

I already turned off the firewall, the ports are open, the public ip has been switched and everything's the same as I use to do it, but now I'm getting that every time.

Why's that? Is anybody else having this problem?

Thanks!

Is there any activity on ShinyDTS's GTS or DNS log?

Might've been an illegal path...I could have a formatting problem on it though...I'll double check.

Read the first post and this thread (http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?8325-GTS-Servers-and-(Valid)-Pokemon-Creation-for-Dummies). Please don't spam the forums with the same post, and if you have questions, be specific.

Well the link you gave me is for the GTS, so i'm not sure how that is going to help me run the Shiny gts unless they are relatively the same thing. My specific is i have a pokemon ready what do i do now on the gts program to send it over, what are the buttons i click? Do i send from folder after saving my pokemon in pokegen in a folder?

It's pretty straight forward on how to send the Pokemon. You need to save it from PokeGen, then send the individual Pokemon. Run the GTS and DNS servers, making sure your ports are forwarded and go from there.

Hit me up through the chat or tell me when you're on.

Hmm I have all the steps good until I've selected a Pokemon to trade, and when it usually would begin to send the pokemon off to the GTS I get a communication error, and the message in my attachment. Is there something I've done wrong that you can see? I've tried this with both Gens, the image below shows the Gen 4 actions.

You're using a local IP address. You have to find your computer's public (external) IP address, and then open ports 53 / 80.

Way: We can give it a shot soon. I'm also debating on opening a support topic for questions to keep this thread clean...

l see, that is a good idea :) PM me a link and l be more than happy to support users of ShinyGTS.

Port 80 and 53 are open, I'm Sure! What's the problem?

Let me ask a few questions

Do you have any .pkm files in your Gen V folder?

Do you have set the IP same on DS as in the Shiny GTS?

Do you have a firewall on?

Note: It looks like the port 80 is open but to make sure 53 and 80 is open for traffic, use this port checker; http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm

1)Do you have any .pkm files in your Gen V folder? There are file .pkm in Gen V Folder

2)Do you have set the IP same on DS as in the Shiny GTS? I don't Know.xD

3)Do you have a firewall on? No.

Note: I have used it

Well the IP you have on ShinyGTS should be on your primary DNS on the WiFi DS settings too either it won't find your DNS server.

Other question "Could the portchecker ping your ports?"

Where do you encounter the problem?

When I connect to the GTS I see this problem:

Communication error. For information, visit the website support.nientendo.com

Ok, Try run a connection test from the settings and make sure the DNS is on and GTS aswell on the program. If its not working then may you posted a screenshot when you run port 80 and 53 in the port checker and l can see what l can do about it.

Edit: Also make sure you run no Skype or any other program that block port 80.

l just tried myself and its working fine, Well HyperGTS only works for 4th Gen and ShinyGTS works for both generation depend on which you have set but make sure your .pkm files is 236 kilobyte (5th Gen Party Pokemon Files) try running 4th gen files with 5th gen mode won't work. If you need to convert your files to 5th Gen download this: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?14371-Pok%E9-Transfer&highlight=Poke+Transfer
