so if i get pokegen can i alter my pokemon nature, IVs, EVs, and turn them shiny and they will still be legit even for wifi even if they have max IVs?

yes, you can modify everything, and there is a PID generator that creates a PID with the corresponding EV changes that you make, if there is one for the EV's you give, sometimes you have to compromise with a few EV's to have a PID. you can modify Move, IV's,EV's, Nature, Ability, Shininess, basically every aspect of your pokemon. on the nature mod question, not sure if it will show as legit, since even though it changes the right value, the nature won't match the PID.

IDK how to multi-quote...

I've been looking around for a code that makes any Pokemon you catch have specific IVs. No Marking box codes, I want to be able to have specific IVs without making my Pokemon illegal.

Here's the max IV code for Platinum, is there any way to modify this for Black?

sorry had to dig through to find this post after i found it i did what you said but once i did that the egg hatched a normal colored pokemon, although i would like to know if you mean to hatch the egg after unmarking it or to breed it after it hatches, i even double checked to make sure the code was right

could someone please post the original version so i can see if it works with that code, because my pokedex says that i caught a shiny zweilous and not a shiny deino or hydreigon

Well i want to know for what kind of Game you want it?

This is the Original Code form Black Version (i use it much often to become shiny DW-mons)

you must mark the pokemon or egg then leave the game by save and then de-activate the code -->in game un mark and it should be shiny

PS: it seems that for some odd reason pokemon eggs marked as shiny were not able to take part in Online Matches (seems like they were flagged as cheat or so) so if you want to have legit shiny eggs just try to breed them with dito from overseas (well it could maybe only be that i used shiny and pokeball modifier marking code on an egg, that make the mon become illegal----just try out on yourself! ;)

Wrong.....it is only affected by the marking Pokeball code, so you can enjoy playing with the eggs! ;)

I need codes for English Pokemon Black for the Japanese versions of these events:

Synthesis/Aromatherapy Snivy

Electro Ball Mewtwo

V-create/Fusion Flare/Fusion Bolt Victini

V-create Rayquaza

Mist Reshiram

Haze Zekrom

Snarl Zoroark

Extremespeed Pikachu

I don't have my own computer right now, so I can't make them myself.

I too would appreciate it if someone could post the event codes for the Gen5 Pokemon, as i did not know how to get working AR-Codes from the pgf-Files!

Okay, I've tried searching around and either I'm blind and missed these codes, or...I don't know. Here's what I (and at least one or two other people in this topic) am looking for: IV and nature modifiers for wild Pokémon. I've seen stuff for already existing Pokémon, which has a chance of causing illegalities even if they do work, but this is for catching something with the desired stats (which show up as clean). Examples of what I'm looking for below:

Wild IV Modifier from HG/SS:

1206E028 000020XX (Atk)

1206E03E 000020XX (Def)

1206E06A 000020XX (SA)

1206E080 000020XX (SD)

00-1F = IV number

Wild Nature Modifier from HG/SS:

I was wondering if there was anyway to modify codes that require you to change the buttons pressed to activate codes. My L and R buttons are broken, so alot of codes I can't use.

I've seen some posts related to the subject, but they haven't been too specific.

Joker (Trigger) Values

If you need to change the Joker (Trigger) for a certain code, here are the trigger commands that you can use to replace the code's trigger. Note that not all codes use triggers.

hi thanx for your effort, but i have to claim a thing or two:

- when checking up the code on the ROM it crashes when i tried to load the WC-Album (US-English version) but the Mewtwo worked though?!

- is it save to use on the retail Card (mine is btw UK Black) or will it cause any unforeseen consequences (because i wanted to watch my WC Collection from time to time)

and could you please place the codes in Spoiler-TAG as it consumes a little much space on this page here?

there's an ar code that lets you change nature by mpressing L/R, so you should be good there. also there should be an iv code like that in the gbatemop database already.

why did you post stuff that was generated with pokegen? it's available here. i know they're from pokegen, i recognize the hook.

i and i think many others would apreciate it if you could somehow explain how to get the codes working, as i stated on a PM to the Creator of PokeGen, i tested it on the rom and it did not work, so it will only be meant to work on the Retail-Games or what?

As i am atm are only interested in a Working Mewtwo WonderCard Code for Black because i did not get the UK Mewtwo on my Card (yes i missed the timeperiod somehow! ;))

The existing nature and IV modifier codes I've found so far for Black and White are only for changing something that's already caught, which makes them illegal for wifi (since the PIDs would not match the stats, unless these codes are THAT good that it even changes the PIDs). The codes I'm looking for, which affect Pokémon encountered in the wild or given to you, would still create a legal Pokémon (even if you gave the thing straight 31 IVs).

Admittedly I'm probably not taking the things I use these codes on for wifi, but I'm also worried about potential glitchiness too.

Well that's nice to know, but that still leaves the natures, which I'm sure are still attached to the pids. Besides, I find it's less work to just catch 'em how you want 'em than catch something and mess with it later (I'm sure I'm not alone in that thought).

Besides, I don't think my request is all that unreasonable. Unless something changed in Black & White, the codes I'm looking for are all very small in nature. Should be easy for someone to figure out, I would think...

Well to modify the nature does not mess up your pokemon....i used many of them in Wi-Fi Battles even on the Autum Friendly last year, maybe you just picked some crapy code? well here is the one that i use in my BLACK UK Version just head to the status screen of a pokemon and press L or R to cycle through the natures

and for the DV´s or IV´s just check the code that i posted, it also doesn´t mess up your pokemon, the only code that i used to know messing up your mon is the Pokeball-Modifier as there seems to be some relationship to the PKMN´s Data in GEN 5.

I'd heard elsewhere (I think in the other Black/White sticky topic) that the nature modifier did render Pokémon illegal for wifi or something. *shrug* Well, good to know, I guess... I still wouldn't mind the codes I'm looking for (like I said, I personally think it's easier, not to mention it's what I've been doing in Gen 4 so far), but glad to see I guess I can get away with doing some modding after the fact.

btw, anyone who wants to try making these codes, I have noticed some constants in the Gen 4 versions of them that might make it easy to figure them out provided the data structures haven't drastically changed.

The VERY basic structure of the codes seems to be something like 1206???? 00002*XX, though the 6 was a 7 in Platinum. The * is 0 for the IV codes and 4 for the nature code. The question marks are the main problem, though. The first two digits are...pretty much where ever in the game data these stats are generated from. Both the IV and Nature codes share the first two digits, though the hex value difference between the SD IV code and the nature code will likely cause it to be 1 more (ie in HG/SS, the SD IV code had E080 and the nature code was E120). The last two digits are what actually determines if the code is modifying the IVs or the nature. In all of Gen 4, the IVs were separated by a hex value of 16 (in normal numerical speak, 22), so if the last two ?s were, say, 50 for the HP IV, then they would be 66 for Attack, 7C for Def, etc. (remembering it would go HP, Atk, Def, Speed, SA, SD and not the normal order). The nature was a hex value of 8E more than the SD IV in D/P/Pt and A0 more in HG/SS (not sure why there's a difference), but is otherwise in the same ballpark. Of course the XX is the actual point of modification: 00-1F to determine 0-31 for the IVs, and for natures is 00 (Hardy) through 18 (Quirky).

Some helpful observations...I think

the max iv code you posted isnt writing data. it's an assembly "hack". they're thumb instructions, 201F is "mov r0, 31". i don't really want to do an iv code, but here's a wild nature mod code:

select to set the nature, start to make it random again:

94000130 FFFB0000

120178BE 000020XX

020178C0 46C046C0

D2000000 00000000

94000130 FFF70000

120178BE 00002019

020178C0 FF14F7ED

D2000000 00000000

0-0x19 as needed.

there are better ways to do it so you can keep changing the nature, but that will work for now. good enough for 5 minutes.

Hm... This might be what I'm looking for, albeit in bulkier form than I had hoped... If I were to not use the button commands (in other words, have the code active as long as the AR is present), would the code I would want solely be 120178BE 000020XX, or would I need the line(s) below that? Obviously I could just ignore the second half of the code with the start button trigger in that instance...

Either way, I guess the nature modifier isn't a one line code like it was in Gen 4 anymore... I'm glad to have it, though.

Just leaves the wild IV modifier, but based on the consistencies I saw in the Gen 4 codes, the nature code is probably a big hint. I'd wager that the IV codes would look something like 120177?? 000020XX (the SD probably would still be 120178??, slight chance on SA), plus whatever that second line of code would look like (I don't know if it would be the same or not, probably not).
