I just taught that to a Pokemon just then, and I see no problem with it.
Squid Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Looking at it, my patch does seem to be about a week hold. Sorry if I've only mentioned something which has already been said.
Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 lol, ok please update if you can, since that has been resolved
Zycor Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I just tried the latest patch in the thread. I could post this on the submit errors page but I can't remember how to access it with the account I registered on it... Oh well. Pokemon Black, DesMuMe. Used the new logo patch with EXP fix.
Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 yeah, that has been resolved, kaarosu is going to do a new patch tomorrow to fix it
bache Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 That's what I was saying before! In the top left of the screen, where it has the PokeDoller Symbol, it doesn't show how much money you have!
Desert Turtle Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 I encountered a problem with the latest patch (v2). When you level up a Pokemon via Rare Candy and the Pokemon learns a move, the game hangs. I gave a Rare Candy to my Waruburu guy (the second evo of the alligator) and it went to level 36, where it gained a move, and instead of asking me if I want to get rid of a move to make room for it a bunch of question marks were in the text box and I couldn't click out of it.
Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 yep, same issue with my Darumakka, when it learns cheer up, it hangs with it also, i have been trying to hunt down that issue

Would it be possible to get a copy of the save file to look at?
Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 i second that, i want to see if this is the same move that is hanging the game, also what version of the game are you using?

I've used about 30 Rare Candies (AR ), and learnt about 6 moves, none of them have caused the game to hang, so I don't know what's up with that? Are you using v2?
Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 its got to be cheer up, same thing happened to me >__>
NSSVelocity Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Velocity, i updated my git with your info Thanks. Thing I noticed, the saving text is still Japanese. I swear that's translated in the files

Shadow_Steve Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 ok, got some more dex issues needing to be cut short to fill the dex rightly: It spouts water from its hooves, and \xfffe moves across the water’s surface as if it\xfffe was gliding. It fights with its special foot techniques.
NSSVelocity Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 TM48 / TM49 also have to be shortened. The TM descriptions are just Copy & Pasted from the attack descriptions. Both these moves have very long descriptions that don't fit in the Attack and Item locations.

chillpenguin Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 (edited) I was waiting to see if the V2 patch would fix the problem but it still hangs going into the Union room. I'm playing Pokemon Black using Wood 1.13 on a real R4 without the EXP patch. Thanks again for what all you guys do! I'll do the most I can by continue to test the patches. Edited October 3, 2010 by chillpenguin Thanks!!
