Game: Pokémon Black (Gen 5, NDS) Goal: I want to add Turkish characters (ç, ğ, ş, ı) by editing the font, or repurposing existing unused glyphs. What I’ve done: - Extracted ROM (dslazy) - Found fonts in a/0/2/7 and a/0/2/8 (NARC) - Extracted 00000000.bin / 00000007.bin - Decompressed with LZ10 (Kuriimu) → .out files - NFTRedit cannot open them (invalid NFTR / load error) - CrystalTile2 NFTR editor also fails Observation: These appear to be Gen 5 offset/compressed fonts with width tables, not standard Gen 4 NFTR. Question: What is the correct workflow/tool to edit Pokémon Black (Gen 5) fonts? - Is there a Gen 5–compatible font editor? - Or a known method to edit glyph bitmaps + width tables and repack? Any help from someone who has worked on Gen 5 translations would be appreciated.

known bug, if you have SkyTemple you can very easily go in and change it so Rowlet properly evolves into Dartrix, if you don't wanna (or can't get it working because Windows Defender loves falsely flagging SkyTemple as a virus) then I'd suggest waiting for the update.

Does anybody have a pokemon emerald save around halfway through the game? I've lost my save and I'm looking for a way to continue playing without restarting from scratch.

I finally got to the stage where I can evolve my starter and my partner, however my starter was Rowlet. When I evolved him, he turned into Bulbasaur, is there any fix to this? Or do I just need to wait for a future update?

That's a different process. You either: - install CFW and load homebrew applications (such as Save Managers) on sysNAND: simple but risky - or import/export save files by manually mounting partitions (this doesn't require CFW, just Hekate and a dump of your Switch's prod and bis keys): more advanced but safer

The 'Mount the sysNAND partitions' part - is that a different process of installing the CFW, or an extra/follow on step?

All homebrew-related activities should be done on emuNAND, not on sysNAND. Leaving even a single trace can get you banned. That said, there’s no clear definition of what actually does or doesn’t leave traces. Using a save manager to import/export save files doesn’t seem to, but I still wouldn’t recommend it. A safer approach is to mount the sysNAND partitions via Hekate using ninfs, manually export the save files from /save and /saveMeta folders, decrypt them with hactool, edit them with PKHeX, and then import them back by doing the reverse process.

i already fixxed it myself. I also had an issues with one of my mons not reacting and doing anything at all even animations we're bugged. I had to put the mons which bugged or were wrong size on the bank and back in my team afterwards everything is working. Idk how its handled here so this thread can be closed (maybe not delete it so ppl with similar Problems can see this) /closed

Hey i imported some Alpha SHiny Pokemon to my save but Ingame i saw they are way smaller than they should be. i have gardevoir alpha twice for example one self catched the other from a file from here and both are XL in PKHex and ingame and both are shiny alpha but one is way bigger than the other. any way to fix this ?

Hello, I’m having issues with my Ambipom from Pearl version. PKHeX displays the error: “Invalid: Move combinations are not compatible with Ambipom’s evolution.” The same error occurs with my Mamoswine from FireRed version. Both Pokémon were evolved in Pokemon Pearl several years ago. This error only appears in Switch games, in previous generations, everything is marked as valid.

Nothing changed for Gen5 handling between now and the previous release. PKHeX will not complete the game for you.
