Hey, thanks for looking into that for me, I'll absolutely let you know, but a quick question, when Patching the update in, would I just patch it in over the already patched version? or should I patch a clean copy of the game? And would I maybe be able to keep my save? I can also Probably copy the patched rom to have another save file probably (Hopefully) So I can rush through to check the cutscene.

  4. I was looking for guides on the website and I found a variety of posts talking about issues related to Shadow Pokemon. Being able to recognize Shadow Pokemon (like Teddiursa), PID mismatches, editing messing up saves, and issues with Elekid. It seems XD/Colosseum saves are different than standard Pokemon saves and I suppose more error-prone (?). I did see that a majority of the posts were from a few years ago and I was wondering if those bugs are no longer an issue with the updated version. My goal is to transfer all my purified Shadow Pokemon and use PKheX to streamline the process. I am not looking to edit anything beyond the heart gauge for Colosseum. I hope to have the Pokemon retain their National Ribbon to show they were purified.

Hey, just wanted to chime in, I still have to do this process for my best friends Moon savefile as well (I did succeed on doing a gender change on her Y savefile, by transplanting a lot more data than was probably necessary from my own file, but at least it worked that way). So while I haven’t gotten to the Moon (pun intended) savefile yet, I’d like to see how far I can get at figuring out a few more things regarding the currently unidentified savedata blocks.
  8. Hey hey! Gender changes on anything gen 6 and beyond have been a topic I've seen pop up in searches here, often times with the only answers being "yes it's possible but we don't know how, so better make a new savefile". That said, while I have been lucky enough to start with a female character, my best friend was not so lucky, but here I was a few weeks ago and wanted to give it a shot anyway. Aaaand: this was a triumph, I'm making a note here, huge success! It was somewhat tedious but also exactly the kind of thing I sometimes like to do on a Tuesday night at 2AM, going all Ema-like on it, spending hours staring at hex editors to spot any differences in the save files. What it boils down to is that I ended up transplanting a whole lot of data from my own Pokémon Y save to hers, because there's quite a bit of unidentified data in there, waiting to be reverse engineered. I may have transplanted much more than necessary, but we did get her game up and running and haven't heard about any issues so far. If you want, you could send me your savefile and I'll have a look. I kinda want more real world save files anyway to hopefully figure out some of these unknown data blocks in the files. For example, I copied over most of my own trainer data (editing the name wherever applicable), so when it did finally work, we did end up with a character that had the exact same outfit and looks as mine, but we settled on just unlocking all clothing options to get around that limitation. And just to clarify, I have no idea currently whether it was required to do this at all, but I figured if I did, I'd have the biggest chance at succeeding. There's also a bunch of unidentified flags and event constants that may or may not have any impact on things in the overworld but also may or may not have an impact on your character working or not. Lots to figure out, but I did get *one* savefile working at least.

I think I have a fix ready to go thanks to someone checking a few things for me in the last version, but the problem is that I'm not able to replicate the issue through skytemple's built-in emulator to verify that the problem really is solved. I can try uploading a new version tonight with the changes though - if you're able to check if it's resolved once version 1.3.1 is up I'd appreciate it!

Hey, I just got to the point where Grovyle shows up a second time, and I'm still having the issue of him only seeming to face the screen has me a little concerned about some of the more impactful scenes, like with Dusknoir and the MC, is there any way we might be able to fix this, with Skytemple or anything else? and if I can fix it with Skytemple, how do I do that?
  14. I see. I think I get it now. Thank you for clarifying. Matching saving files just means it will note that the data comes from elsewhere and not locally. And you are not able to see things like OT memories because you are not the OT.

    Love this mod, but I've noticed one glaring bug. I've been playing through while streaming the game to a friend(Who's never played or watched a playthrough of the game) and when it got to the scene where you first see Grovyle running through the forest, Grovyle was apparently only capable of facing the screen. It was downright comical to watch him run sideways and back up to the timegear, but I am a little worried that this might mess with the playthrough or later cutscenes, which I would like to have maximum impact on my friend. Which won't be so possible if we're both too busy cackling at the rediculousness of the grovyle cutscenes. If there's anything I could do to maybe fix this, or if a patch could be released that'd be great.
  18. not exactly any "xxx"s but the entire alolan graveler line is displayed as "- 918/919/920" respectively, and i do recall changing their evolution conditions before so ive likely given one of them a null evolution requirement and thats what causes the crash do you know how to get around this? ik i have to probably do something with my backup romfs but idk what exactly im meant to do with them ty for replying though i appreciate you ong edit: they also dont show up with any sprites, but the rest of their data (held items, types etc) all seem to be the same
  19. Hey guys, I've got this cartidge for over 8 years, and after i homebrewed my console i booted the game up, and the error code: oxd900458b showed up. I tried using the cartidge fixer tool, but it didn't solve the problem. After the language selection menu the error always appears. Could you help me? I have no clue of how to fix it.

Oh my god... then I copied the rom and not the save file and it got deleted... so that Bulbasaur it's gone... there's truly no file to repair, even if the file says SAV... that's why it doesn't work. I'm so embarrassed for wasting everyone's time, I'm truly sorry. I'll definitely use GB Operator since it allows to play the games as well. Thank you very much! Also I'm embarrassed lol I'm truly a klutz.
  22. You were wrong, that's the rom (16MB), the save file is only 128KB. If you have a DS Lite you can use "GBA Backup Tool" or else buy a "GB Operator" or another alternative that allows you to connect it to a PC
  23. Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with PKHeX where it fails to load the PC boxes from my first-generation Pokémon games. I've attached screenshots of the program for reference.   24. Hello, this is my first post, apologies if I make mistakes in the posting location. Some months ago, I bought a copy of Pokemon FireRed (V1.0) USA (English). Casually wanted to soft-reset for a shiny, I actually managed to get a legit shiny Bulbasaur, I was super happy and decided to take dump the file to edit some stuff with pkhex and save the pokemon itself. Got up well far into the game I believe (it was a bit ago, apologies). However, I had some troubles with my SD card reader (I dump the file using a NDS flashcart). When I try to move the file, it copied but the file was corrupted, and when I tried to open the original file on the cartridge, it got deleted. The only file I have containing that shiny Venusaur and the Bulbasaur copies I made is this file. I cannot be read by pkhex, any emulator, A-save file, the size is an irregular number and it says is corrupted, If I overwrite the file to the cart, it says the file has been corrupted/deleted. I hope someone can tell me if this save file is recoverable, that was my first shiny starter out of pure luck and well, it hurts to lose him. I'll leave the save file and of course, I'll hear on any advice to not allow my files to be corrupted again. I don't edit my saves anymore because of what happened, only dump and save them. I recently bought a Japanese copy of pokemon diamond, it has a save on it with some old events and a mostly completed pokedex, i wanted to look at the save in pkhex however when i try to put the save into pkhex it just keeps saying its uninitialized. Im using the r4i save dongle to export the save which has always worked in the past so i do not understand what im doing wrong.
