Does anyone know the cause of this? Like when the screen fades black when the battle started with the girl before Petalburg, the music stopped and it froze. Is it because how she was randomized, or is there something wrong with my rom? I just don't want to get really far and then run in to some trainer you can't avoid and the game crash every time. -
Hi, could someone please answer me a question. How can i fight a gym leader with an umbreon with the ability prankster. I already changed the ability in the pokemon rom changer, but the new ability wasn`t available in the BWTE. It would be nice, if someone could answer me this. Thank you and sorry for my bad english. The problem is that i can`t give umbreon the ability on the BWTE ( BWTE is a programm where you can change the pokemon and their abilities that a trainer use in a battle ). In the pokemon rom changer ( where you can change stats , abilities, evolution, gender rate and more) prankster is already placed.

So, I recently purchased a Gateway 3DS flashcard and set my system up to run under the format, but I have no idea how to get/dump a Pokemon X/Y ROM on to my MicroSD card. I am running firmware 9.0.0 so I'm all good there, I just can't figure out how to get the actual ROM on the card. Any help is appreciated.

I have recently learned that the system requirements to use a a 'Gateway 3DS' is 9.2 and bellow. Here is the question: If I were to buy a new (not the 'New 3DS') 3DS, what firmware would it have? Would it have something bellow 9.3? I would be super grateful if someone could tell me. Thanks! -Deets

Ive used the internet injection method with pokehex to put many pokemon in my copy of ORAS to finish the pokedex but I have seen videos of people that have used gateway3ds cards to replace models and textures of characters (EX:replacing the texture for brandon with one that has the colors from emerald) and i wondered if the same could be done with internet injection. I havent looked into how exactly the internet injection works but logically if you can inject files for pokemon and replace them you should be able to do the same thing with textures you could have the file in the SD card and name it a certain way then run whatever script it needs using the internet then you can change what you look like in the game and customize it if this is possible could somebody make it it would probably become really popular! -
It would be possible now to create Kanto and Johto based on XY/ORAS rom? I know it would be a hard work but i want try if its possible. -

Hi, I am new to the community and ROM hacking itself. I have seen various hacks from Pokemon Blaze Black to simple things like a model swap. These have inspired me to start hacking! I need some help though. I would like to edit player models in ORAS, but frankly have no idea how. If there is someone who can tell me a list of things I need to do this, I would be very grateful! Would it be possible to change the typing of attack and pokemon? And can you insert or edit a existing model of a pokemon? Say I wanted to change how Meleottas other form looks would that be possible? I am highly interested in making a rom edit of Pokemon ORAS soon and wanted some general questions answered is all. Last question, once dumping of the rom is done how do you put it back on a gateway to play?

Hi! I need to know how to change overworlds items that are laying on the ground. For example instead potion i want to receive Super Rod from Pokeball that is laying in the grass. Could somebody help me with this? I'm noobie with hex editing -
i have seen various people do oras randomizers. How do people do this, do you need a gateway to inject the rom???? or can you use it with just a 3ds and a sdcard.

I am at this part of the pokemontrash site guide on this decryption stuff In the case of Pokémon Ruby Omega and Alpha Saphir (or any other game or above SDK 7), do this: To extract the files from ExeFS it'll be a little more complicated! You have 2 Xorpads ExeFS : - 000400000011C400.Main. exefs_7x .xorpad - 000400000011C400.Main. exefs_norm .xorpad (I recall that the following ID is not for all the ROM, for example, the 011C4 is Ruby Omega) We will use the tool MEX.py , which is at the root of the folder " PackHack . " For that, go to the root of this folder, right click in the blank, and click Open command window here . Once the order open CMD type the following command line: MEX.py EncryptedExeFS.bin 000400000011C400.Main.exefs_norm.xorpad 000400000011C400.Main.exefs_7x.xorpad outputExeFS.xorpad (I still remember once the Xorpads ID depends on your game) You get now a new file Xorpad calling itself outputExeFS.xorpad . Open again Xorfiles.exe: File Name 1: Open the file EncryptedExeFS.bin File Name 2: Open the Xorpad you just get (outputExeFS.xorpad) File Name 3: Save the decrypted file with the following name: DecryptedExeFS. bin in the folder " PackHack " Wait until you see the message: The file was successfully created XOR! Every time I add the stuff in and make the 1 digit change because I am using Sapphire not ruby and it gives me this error every time .code not found! Did you specify the input files correctly? I have done this a few different ways and this just keeps failing, what do I do?

Firstly, I apologize for the fact that, yes, I am a newb at HGSS hacking. Does anyone know of any English language tools that can unpack, and more importantly REpack game graphics? I want to do a full edit of all the female protagonist's sprites, both battle and overworld; all I need is to be able to extract and re-insert, I've done sprite editing before so I know how to do the rest. I have looked everywhere and been unable to find anything; it seems tools for HGSS are extremely few. :frown:

Okay before we all jump the gun here, it is a question of possibilities. With existing tools, is it possible to do the following: 1. Bring over new items, such as prison bottle, megastones etc 2. Bring over new formes Other new mechanics, like dexnav and stuff, are obviously probably not going to be brought over. But as for items and their routines, probably isn't too hard right? ______ Side questions, now sure if sav or rom question. Is it possible to change brendan/may into xy character? XY character should be programmed into the rom, and with the right offset in the save, should be able to change character. (unless it's a rom issue, hence the question) -
I've been looking for the location in the arm9 file, but I don't know where I need to go, and what values to change. I found out how to do it in B/W, but I would like to do it in Soul Silver. Can I get some help please? -

Hey, Project Pokemon community. I would love to try my hand at Pokemon X and Y hacking, seeing as how I've successfully hacked GBA and DS Pokemon Roms. I have both the cartridge Pokemon Y and a downloaded Pokemon X version. My question is how would I extract one of these versions to my computer so I could edit it as I wish? I've searched and I can't find anything but I know for a fact that it's possible. Thanks! ~Zeph
