You can also, RNG it on your own game (with a shiny spread), trade it to someone, doesn't matter who. Trade it back to your game. And then you can get it shiny too.

It will be quite hard to do this, but probably we can change the Hold Item of the Arceus, by changing it in HxD hexeditor, that won't be too hard, since I know what values we need to change for the Hold Item, now we need to know which hold item it needs.

I have a ROM too, legitly back-upped it from the original rom using Rudolphs Back-up tool. And I was wondering how you planned to extracting it? Because I don't have much experience of rom hacking etc..

Hello, I hope I won't get an infraction for this bump, but I have done some re-search, probably some things I'm going to write are known. I have made a Excel Spread Sheet (You can find it here) including the info about the Arceus in a Hex Editor, I have added the following values: 00 (Offset 0000040), 06, 0A, because those values are different for every Arceus with a different Plate. I tested for every Plate. The 00 is the Sprite, The 06, 0A are for the Hold Item. I'm currently looking for a match...and I'm trying to use some random numbers to see if I get the Item we all want! I hope this information can help us all :biggrin: Regards! EDIT: I have sorted the Spread Sheet and there is definitly a match for the Item (The Plates) I will update the Online Spread Sheet. EDIT2: Again an Edit; this time I found another match, I updated the Spread Sheet so check it out!!!
