I don't go disclosing everything about myself to people. It's not proper. Besides, I've learned not to trust everybody, as any information I say can be used against me.

And it wasn't too long ago that I moved out either. And yes, I've been around 9/11 times too... when America decided to become a police state and issue that phony war against terror. Spent my 90s in America knowing American cartoons and all sorts of that. Why do you think I'm so good at English? I have my own dislike for it as well: I speak a lot against it, but sometimes I had refreshing experiences where it felt nice, but America is just not my kind of place. I don't like multiculturalism, but Korea is also not good for me: it is too homogenous and these idiot generation of my time are too absorbed into K-Poop. But it's my nation: I'm going to fight for what is right. What will you do?

You won't get anywhere by moping around. America by default was born under revolutionary principles, so I have my reasons to stay away from there. If you really dislike a nation, you shouldn't look for escapes. Chances are, you will be more dissatisfied and disappointed than you will ever be. It's time you took a stance amongst others against the very things that make the US disappointing. You have to fight it. Now I don't mean grab guns and raid places like they did in London a while ago. There are other ways, as the pen is mightier than the sword. These days, the Internet exists: so use that medium as an advantage and be alongside like-minded people.

There are many things you can do: but don't just say "I hate America" and wallow in self-pity. I have my own vendetta against that corporate entity... but I will find a way one way or another.

Hey, I used to live the US. A New Yorker: not too far away from you, and I know exactly all the dissatisfaction of being an American, even if there are pluses. I've been there for pretty much my life time, though I was born in Korea. It's just not for me though: neither being Korean nor American brought me any satisfaction. I don't belong anywhere... you wouldn't want to be me.

It's not just the US that is bad though. Problems happen everywhere, and the banning of Xbox should be the least of your worries.

Pokemon Black 2 / White 2 Move Changes / Move Tutor Compatibility / All That is Competitive

Can't believe I'm posting again How about I change the discussion topic into the new moves for Pokemon? I'm upset too, no Flare Blitz on Flareon. Sigh -___- Also still no new moves for Vanilluxe nor any other coverage moves for Lilligant. Not that Lilligant is any bad, mind you... Lol Heracross is able to Bulk Up again. They forgot to add compatibility for that in BW. I am particularly excited that Sandshrew/Sandslash finally learn Earthquake... and even Swords Dance naturally, amongst others. I'll post my full thoughts later and add to the original post. Also, Hurricane Articuno & Moltres are great! Zapdos got trolled with Zap Cannon, lol. But that's still not enough to compensate for all the disparity done to the other two birds when Zapdos had all sorts of nice boosts. EDIT: Look above: post is overhauled and looks much neater. Feel free to discuss.

Wow what the heck? Heracross couldn't Bulk Up for this whole generation, and I didn't even notice that! On the bright side, there's Wild Charge for the Gears and X-Scissor (no more Bug Bite!) for Ariados!

TM changes, though, are disappointingly small.

How disheartening. People saying "Articuno isn't usable. Period."

95 SpA is considered low? Since when? Considering it has the bulk and STAB Hurricane isn't easy to wall, and how Dragonite "only" has 100 SpA, which isn't much higher than Articuno's... honestly now? Yeah I know it really isn't, but Hurricane seems like a huge upgrade in a way (still needs a signature boosting move of some kind and a water move)...

What the heck? Serperior gets Aqua Tail? So now all 3 of Unova starters can learn water moves. How is that fair? .___.

Well, Swords Dance + Leaf Blade + Aqua Tail + Return is going to be full of win. It also gets Dragon Pulse, so contrary sets can have a better coverage move alongside HP Fire.

I lost interest in the franchise long time ago mate. It's just not the same.

What do you mean lose out on Iron Head? It doesn't lose out on anything. And truth be told, Superpower only works best in Choice sets anyways. Not that Iron Head provides much coverage, mind you.

Are you sure Haxorus got Fire Punch? I thought it didn't. I'm more worried about Haxorus's Superpower, which after SD, 2HKOs Skarmory. The heck?

Focus? Lol what focus? It's just giving powerful moves to the powerful and forgetting about the weaker ones. Why didn't Flareon get Flare Blitz?!! I don't even think Heatmor got any improvements either. And Conkeldurr is going to get the elemental punches I'm sure. Gliscor is no longer a counter with Ice Punch. I hate this... how can you ever switch into that thing?!

Wow Ferrothorn was denied Synthesis. Nice.

Durant gets Superpower. It's not the best thing, but Rock + Fighting coverage is better than the Ground coverage, though you miss out on Nidoqueen/Nidoking and Toxicroak, but still, you may rejoice now?

Nobunaga's ambition? That must mean Toyotomi Hideyoshi is in this game as well. Hideyoshi is the jerk that tried to invade my home nation Korea twice during 1592-1597(?)... The mechanics look like a tactics game kind. It's an interesting take on Pokemon. I might just play it sometime.

Hopefully: there's also the electric counterpart to Absorb Bulb, but water moves are far more common and easier to switch in... had it not been for Scald or something of that like. At least Giga Drain is so much better now... SO MUCH. Focus Blast looks good for coverage, but it likes to miss a lot. It's really for Empoleon and Steels in general. Any suggestions?

Does Golurk work well as a lead? Sub set is fine and all, but usually I find it too fragile to even let it Sub up (you'd think with 89/80/80 it can take more hits than that...)

To be honest, I'm not too much into Pokemon: I started losing interest in games in general. In fact, I've believed for a long time it is from the devil.

So you're really thinking about ranking to top 10?

Ugggh. Yeah, those times when I actually cared about my exam grades. I know how it feels. Don't worry too much: you'll get someplace someday, where your passion lies. You will need to work hard on it, of course. And from what I'm seeing, you're more of the left side (that's what we call it in Korean), the arts/writing/etc person.

It's also the parents who do not raise the children adequately. Look at us all depending so much on technology, we don't even know how to do the basics. So how is this generation going to nurture children? I dread to think.

Speaking of which, I had this physical/special split patch for Emerald, and it royally messed up my Dragon Claw (then special)/Thunderpunch/Earthquake/Leaf Blade Sceptile with Timid nature, making it all physical. This thing's too hard to use, there has to be a proper way other than spamming Choiced Leaf Storm! I mean, that works the best in my opinion, but I'm trying to find other ways because people anticipate it.

But on the bright side, Azumarill is beast with STAB now and Gyarados's Waterfall works like a charm!

If only I played this game more often (I don't actually, it's been a month since I believe?)

I almost worked this successfully... until I got outpaced by a Volcarona and got owned. However, that time I had 0 Speed investment, relying on Absorb Bulb to work. Now I outpace Volcarona by default (and other + 100ers), even if Absorb Bulb isn't used. What sucks is that most bulky waters carry Scald, which has a chance of burning, and some also carry Ice Beam, making this too specialised. But when set up, on paper, it works really well... ON PAPER. I have yet to make this work though, and continually finding a way to improve it.

Um, I'm usually at PO's server. I haven't actually been on Smogon's server to be honest because it lagged me.

To be honest, they're not all that great of battlers. And their tiers are not in correspondence with Smogon's. Scrafty is UU there, for example (though I wouldn't contest that).

I did that Blastoise on OU twice: perma rain makes this beautiful, but so many Jellicents and stuff and things much over 78 base speed makes it really hard to pull off. I've only KOd 2 Pokemon on average with that Blastoise per battle: works well in UU but not as great in OU (what did you expect?)

Am I challenging people wrong? I click on random people and challenge them (I go by GeorgesSeurat or LePointillisme), and then there's people talking about rankings (both Fox and Lorshy mentions ratings to me). I must be noob, but I have no idea how to play a ranked battle?

Contrary Superpower Spinda ftw. I want to try it out, but PO said it's not allowed for some reason.

I wanted to try Swords Dance Skarmory with Broken Armour, but PO will not let me (this again). It sounds stupid, but it's quite fun in paper. I wish I had an opportunity to work it out. When a metagame goes crazy with damage, why not take a defensive monster and surprise them? It doesn't come with Brave Bird, but it comes with Drill Peck and Roost.

... I suppose it won't work, but... I'm still trying if PO updates that.

Improved sleep mechanics means Rest counter resets everytime you switch out. That's not improved imo X___X

When teachers write something, they do it for a reason. Keep in mind, many teachers are incompetent idiots, but still, bad behaviour means they should talk to the student about it. How would that be the teacher's fault?

West and East. Two different places: that I know. I like it when children are... at least children. It doesn't mean stupid, it just means more trusting and playful than like talking to a peer. It's really awkward when they do 반말 ... sorry idk how to put that in English tbh. But... times change.

I don't like DPP. It's the best competitive game, but the worst adventure field collect-8-badges-pokemon-league kind of game. It's so dull... and let's not forget what a boredom the music was.

Wow Breloom. You scary. I'm keeping a Shroomish until level 52 just to learn Spore in Emerald. That's a pain... they at least reduced it to 45 now, but I guess there's a price for everything.
