Eeep I barely get on these days. Is Empoleon an offensive type or just a defensive pivot? Despite that high SpA, I found defensive Empoleon really weak... That.. is exactly how Fox's battles goes. At least it raises his ranks, he says (around 1300s now I think). But still, that is very complainable to me because ends do not justify means in this case, at least for me. But to others, it's Pokemon, as long as they win, they say... .___.

Just started playing Emerald again... I'm really loving the exotic environment of this game! Along with the amazing music... my problems with it are some characters' designs (Flannery is just begging for Rule34), lack of certain Pokemon (though that gamble was taken to improve further generations), amongst others. At least it's not as bland as DPP. Ewww... I dislike DPP... had it not been for the large selection of Pokemon in Platinum, I would certainly disregard that game.

Rarity? Oh my!

Suicune is just... too bulky for its own good. Don't be surprised: it is one of the biggest bulkiest Waters out there, especially with its base 100 HP/115 Def... and people run 252 HP/252 Def + nature... that is 404 HP / 361 Def you are looking at.

SilentFox also has this problem where people keep forfeiting on him.

Also there is this thing on Facebook people are doing called the 50 day Pokemon challenge... which is basically posting up pictures of whatever describes a Pokemon in the list... pretty interesting:

Sup Lorshy Morshy... it has been a while.

And when I said science, it is what you said, and it is that whole science vs religion thing too, and as you can see, that is where Iron Man and Captain America differ. The Civil War arc also had those two contest against each other... Iron Man required mandatory registration for superheroes, Captain America fought against it... and you know that would not end up so pretty. Iron Man's suit is pretty cool, however.

That comic just blew up my mind!

Captain American is really quite the White Knight... like lawful good character. Iron Man is a villain during the Civil War arc of Marvel... well, not villain, but he's the Knights Templar person: more like Chaotic Good or something. I still don't like his personality: he's a womaniser, depends too much on science, and just not as flexible as Spider-Man or the rest. Yeah I have no idea how Thor would be like.. because I didn't watch this or anything.

I've seen picture of Cybersix before... a bit manly in costume imo.

I think I should have rated Reuniclus lower: slow Pokemon in-game is just too annoying. But seriously... who posted that thing there?

Yeah heard it from Fox a while ago as well. Why do I have a feeling Tornadus is going to fail like Articuno? Well, actually, it will not be as bad due to prankster and the lack of 4x weakness to SR. Wait... actually, it is another attempt to replace Articuno, just like how Suicune was. Can't these guys give it a break already? Enough harm has been done!

Wait... what the heck? More SpA on Thundurus and more Attack on Landorus? Just how much more overkill can you get? They already have some crazy 125 offences... why is that even necessary? Yeah Gamefreak, just raise the power creep, will you? X_X

Also, no Roost on Tornadus will be trolling. Hopefully it will be accomodated for, but once it roosts, it has no typing :L

Now are you being sarcastic with the plant thing? It's not that it cannot be without it, but I do not see any other purpose to Cherrim competitively. Think Cherrim wise, not Groudon wise.

Another Marvel film... yes I know the organisation Avengers. Do they retain the original cast for each characters?

Also... weird Trololos formes. Tornadus's alternate form is an Articuno ripoff.

0 HP Aggron, not even 4 HP which it would get if it was running 252/252 anyhow, neutral Def nature. Without Hone Claws, it still would not manage 50% unless there is Spikes support and whatnot... so I still consider Aggron a counter, just not 100% safe (but how many 100% safe counters to anything exist? Very few)

Seriously though, Cherrim is totally created just for Groudon and somehow, Ho-oh benefits too. Attack and SpDef specifically is just weird.

Avengers? They have a movie on that? Sorry, I am not too updated with cinema and all, except if I read stuff online. And when I do, I always analyse them for Satanism and whatnot... so yeah <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yeah, Life Orb + 1 Durant vs 0 HP Aggron: 77.6% - 91.8%

Head Smash vs same Durant: 115.6% - 135.8%

Max HP Aggrons take 63.4% - 75%

Okay, that's above 60%, provided Durant sets up. Just remember it does NOT Hone Claws and Iron Head on the same turn.

I just found it incredibly odd that Flower Gift raises Attack and SpDef. Now that raises Groudon's strongest and one of its weaker stats. Just imagine Ho-oh with Flower Gift boost. Surf would be completely laughable on it!

Cold? Get better soon. And you spend 3-4 hours on some movie class?

I don't even think at + 1 Iron Head will be above 60% or anything. Even so, hello Metal Burst or Thunder Wave! That is, if flinch doesn't occur. It cannot Hone Claws and Iron Head on the same turn, remember. Durant is so scary for an ant!

Arcanine is just too winsome. Ninetales is for experts (not counting Drought)... and now regular battlers use it just for the sun. I are ashamed. Then they keep that thing in lead, which is an even bigger mistake. It is the fastest of the weather inducers and provides the weakest weather and gets destroyed by three of the other four... why would they do that?

You see, this is why I dislike Pokemon. Get some deity-like Pokemon that can control time and space, only to get walled by some pink blob? Rock like snake is weaker and has less vitality than a common Spearow. And this tiny ant is apparently too strong for nearly half the Pokemon that it fights! I'm outta here! <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

180 Def. How in the world is that not a counter? It survives Archeops's Earthquake even without Sturdy <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wacko.png" alt=":S" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/wacko@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Then Head Smash that puny ant and we have one squished metal bug. Well... except with Flinches and adequate set up... but that could happen to anyone.

Aggron just rocks everything. Too bad it does not have Fire Punch, as that is 75 base power stronger than Head Smash vs Durant.

Hey I didn't suggest Gengar at least. Escavalier is no more valid than Steelix as counter, but it would not really do much back in terms of typing, but Banded Megahorn hurts like a monster. It shaves off over 50% from things that even resist it. Durant has a lot of def though, but that low HP makes it moot, especially when uninvested. Stone Edge is just some 100 base power attack vs Escavalier, unless it crits and stuff. Only thing is, I have no idea what it can do to Durant. Also, most Steelix don't run Fire Fang, but can at least phaze.

Well, not quite superior. Ninetales's speed still gives it some sort of an advantage along with its deceptiveness. Arcanine is just a straight out attacker/utility counter.

Pikachu's Thundershock defeats Golems and other Grounds. I'm being serious here. Just watch the anime and you will see. Probably why I stopped watching it.

Didn't think of Steelix since I rarely see them. And to think I put it in as my regular Steel Pokemon. Excadrill is banned anyhow. That means Aggron is also a safe switch-in, along with Escavalier and Cobalion and some others. Mostly high defence Steels, but since they are rarely carried... switching in some random Pokemon to take the hits only to eat up like 70% of their health (and over!) is scary >__<

Everything hits too hard!

How Would You Improve Some Pokemon (Competitively)?

That's just another Sacred Fire mate Let's lower that to like Lava Plume's power. Heck, make it a physical Lava Plume! Or maybe make it a Fire priority attack! Do note that while signature moves do exist for certain Pokemon, they become breedable to some other species or get given to other Pokemon in later gens. And seriously, it does need one, because some of the other rival Pokemons got something that resembled signature moves, such as Poison Tail on Seviper and Crush Claw on Zangoose. There are plenty of bulky Fires such as Torkoal... bottom line is they don't work so well. Especially not Magcargo, due to that awful defensive typing. It needs like at least 900 BST to even work, but is a cool NU Bug counter actually. Not to mention its ability to Recover and all sorts of stuff. Magcargo I am satisfied with... somewhat. Only thing I am worrying about for Heatmor is its lack of specialisation, nothing else. But if nothing else, yeah, a Fire/Steel typing would be great. Corsola would be a fun Pokemon to evolve. Actually, the only thing Corsola was used for was breeding fodder: it gave Tyranitar Ancientpower and Blastoise Refresh and Mirror Coat in Gen II (now pass down Recover!), for instance. Some of these Pokemon are good for breeding, such as Farfetch'd, which bridges Ground and Flying groups together. Corsola would become such a beast tank if evolved, but that typing would be such a drag.

Eh Ninetales completely differentiated itself from Arcanine from the start: Arcanine was just bad, but it had some good stats. Except Special was the low Special Def back in Gen I. Eep. Then it gains Extremespeed and all the cool moves that it deserves since it is just legend. Ninetales is crafty, plays like the sneaky fox it is, and I could not have asked for anything more. Well, except Shadow Ball for the lulz and some more speed. The other crafty Pokemon that I like to play around with is Froslass. These two are just fun.

Why does it have Drought though? And why give those crazy abilities to my two favourite Pokes? It's like GF knew what I was thinking!

That same Pikachu lost to Elekid and Eevee but beat Dragonite and countless amount of Golems ><img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yep, Durant is scary. Seriously, I do not know much safe switch-ins except Skarmory.
