    This looks almost exactly the same as my team -__- If you replace the lead with Swampert... it'll BE exactly the same as my team (save the Gliscor... I use a Froslass instead) o_O I'd go with Surf instead of Blizzard for Walrein because Surf gets more PP and can hit T-tar for super effective if he decides to switch in (it won't kill but at least you've hit him).

    Erm... yes, it does. Substitute helps with a lot of stuff and is a widely used technique in competitive battles. It also prevents you from status and takes damage for you when the next hit could have been fatal. Sometimes it's useful, sometimes it doesn't do its job. It's all dependent on how you use it. The technique you've seen is called Subpunching... it means Substitute + Focus Punch. Let's get back in topic... people's chosen starters?

    I know. The rarity of Fire type drives you to pick it. I always catch a Bellsprout and train it (even if it is hard to train)... and Bellossom's an awesome Pokemon. Sunflora's slow, but she's pretty strong, don't underestimate it. Jumpluff sucks? Are you sure? Take a look at my Jumpluff:

    It's the fact she cannot learn many attacking moves, which is useful in-game. Her support moves are better off in the UU tier in the competitive metagame, but if you realize that in-game she has Tackle, Razor Leaf, and Magical Leaf... and then you see she doesn't learn her next move Body Slam until she's a level 44 Meganium! But who knows... they might change the move set when this game's released. Unfortunately, she is the worst of the three.

    I don't know. I guess some people here don't appreciate cruel humor. I am a cruel person... waiting in the dark, attacking a person when they're down... bringing them into my dark world... so that they may... Blah, what was I saying? Yes, what InuYouki said. No one's changing the storyline too much (other than extending Johto a bit)... but even then, some Pokemon levels need to change. They were too easy. And notice how I never changed each leader's signature Pokemon. I kept them in-tact (aside from Will's Xatu... but he had two).

I can't just analyze a team immediately :-/ And yes, that Clefable is Greencat's, but I don't think he EV'd it that way. And he's definitely not sharing that set with anyone, I believe. That Clefable's a nuisance And another thing: Hail teams are meant to stall. They rely on indirect damage to destroy their foes while your Pokemon continue to live on. Your team looks like the offensive variant, but would that help? How does Hail benefit your team at all? It looks like a standard team with an Abomasnow stuck in it. However, it can destroy those Zapdos and Scizor though... which is a good thing. Timid Abomasnow with Focus Punch? I'd stick with Grass Knot to deal with other stuff (many Pokes in the OU tier are heavy)... and plus it gives a secondary STAB move. I'm trying to make a defensive set for him... but I just don't know how... LOL you named him Obama There is no point on running an Adamant DD Gyarados. Stick with Jolly, and change the EV spread to 36 HP/252 Atk/220 Speed to outrun a positive max speed Electrode after one DD. With the spread you've got, Jolteon WILL outspeed you (most are Timid) and Thunderbolt you even after one DD. The secret to Hailstalling is a specially designed Walrein we know as Stallrein. Using it, you can take down at least 2 Pokemon by stalling up to 32 turns. If you want to know how, just ask me.

    Not all Arceus carries Dark plates. Most Arceus in the metagame either come without plates (countered by Giratina) or come with the Fist Plate (if Mewtwo HAPPENS to carry Psychic, then GG) Anyways, I've been there since RBY came out... ah, the memories. GSC was completely dumbed down I realized X_X
