    I just caught Ho-oh on my brother's HeartGold. That thing was really difficult to catch. Note: For the rest of you try getting a Flash Fire Houndour since Ho-oh cannot touch you in ANY way, shape or form with one. This was my third attempt catching it. First I used a Pokeball for fun, then 2 Ultras, then the last one being Dusk Ball... and finally caught it. Since Feraligatr's Surf didn't do so much in this one and that Ho-oh was actually faster, I knew its stats would be promising... [hgsssprite]250[/hgsssprite] Jolly Nature (- SpA + Spe) level 45 [Actual Stat: Calculated IVs] 163 28-30 HP 131 20-22 ATK 90 9-11 DEF 95 5-6 SpA 155 26-27 SpD 108 29-31 Spe How is that? Pretty good? I'm pretty much satisfied I think I'm keeping this one.

    First off, I don't believe it is possible to create the "most powerful Wifi team". Every team has their strengths and weaknesses... and one way or another they can get defeated. But defeats usually give the player a lesson on what their weakness is and they start fixing it. But as for me, I just play with what I like and try to make it work... Please try not to double post unless you are bumping a topic. Max IVs/EVs doesn't really help me understand much though. And usually when someone says "max IVs" I believe they cheated X_X Honestly, I believe Occa Berry is more useful on Metagross than Shuca Berry, as Fire moves like Fire Blast tend to OHKO it while Meta has enough defenses to survive Earthquakes. But whatever works for you I suppose... Choice Band Lucario can work, but what happens if you are locked into one attack? I would put Swords Dance someplace, as one of the most common Pokemon is Scizor, who will try Pursuiting your Espeon (usually Choice Banded) in hopes of defeating it I suppose... and it will give you one turn to set up Swords Dance, and watch your opponent's team get destroyed with Extremespeeds and Close Combats. Note that you should not run a boosting move and Choice item together, as it will never work. Replace Dream Eater with Shadow Ball (TM30) or Signal Beam (move tutor in Battle Frontier in HGSS/some move tutor house in Platinum) or something to help Espeon sweep. Not only is Dream eater another Psychic move, which makes it redundant, but if you try Yawning, it is usually meant to force switches as no one wants a sleeping Pokemon. Instead, while you force someone to switch out, take that chance to set up a single Calm Mind and hit the incoming Pokemon with a boosted Psychic or Shadow Ball/Signal Beam (Tyranitar will hate a + 1 Signal Beam, although you are not OHKOing it). Some word about some of Tbird's sets... you cannot acquire Seismic Toss without getting a Blissey from FRLG, because Seismic Toss tutors only appear in FRLG. Same for the move Counter. If I get more time I suppose I can try elaborating on this... but for now have fun with your team.

    Same here... it's never been used on any of my games (aside from me in Blue version using it to catch a Zubat of all things)... which makes me question if it is valuable at all...

    <p><p><p><p><p>Parasect (aside from Paras) was the only Pokemon that could use Spore... a 100% accurate sleep move. I heard Parasect was used for Mewtwo-slaying technique... but I am not exactly sure how. I'll bet it is Swords Dance + Leech Life + Spore + Substitute... Leech Life still hurts and heals you and after a Swords Dance it will... be like 20% damage still.</p></p></p></p></p>

    <p><p><p><p><p>Chansey is the only thing I think can "counter" Mewtwo... but isn't reliable. Electrode is faster than Mewtwo and can paralyze it, which is detrimental on Mewtwo... but can't do much else otherwise and will get owned anyhow. Parasect was bug type... sure... but what bug moves could it use? Leech Life? Erm... NO THANKS. Besides, bug didn't get powered up by Growth anyhow. Yeah... Mewtwo = beast.</p></p></p></p></p>

    <p><p><p><p><p>Which is why I like the old nostalgic games... it was so much more exciting. It was a lot more exciting going through the entire Kanto map (it wasn't even called Kanto then) and fighting the Elite 4 and then grabbing the ultimate Pokemon of all times... the RBY Mewtwo with the scary special of 154 and that beast of a move called Amnesia. Fun times... I would have liked FRLG if it didn't feel like a lazy rehash... it was all right but felt VERY lazy somewhere.</p></p></p></p></p>
