<p><p><p><p><p><p>Some assume they're based on life/death, evolution, or the tree of Yggdrasil. Also, a lot of people are saying that Xerneas (stag) is a lot like the God of Life from the film Princess Mononoke. It's antlers are shaped like chromosomes as well. Yveltal is likely based on death or something, but because it glows red and has those veiny like markings, I actually thought it may have to do with birth. But I don't know how that makes sense. Personally I find these two legendaries interesting, particularly Xerneas, because they are not dragons.Yggdrasil has the same creatures as these two, deer and bird, but also a wyrm is included. Setting is Paris, too.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
