<p><p><p><p><p>The problem is not <em>using</em> the larvae for newbies, it's <em>deciding</em> what to do with them. Most new Zerg players forget to spawn overlords all the time, and end up getting supply blocked, so they start spawning like twenty overlords at once. They simply don't realise that for every batch of normally spawned larvae, you need to create an overlord with third one. With queen batches, you'll need to spawn two with them. They tend to get too focused on getting drones too, so when they get attacked, all they have is 20lings/10roaches/80drones.</p></p></p></p></p>
