If you have access to a way to edit your DS/3DS/Switch save files, yeah, you can. But you need the appropriate hardware/software. We can guide you through it if you tell us what consoles and physical game cards you have.

There's one big issue with that Mew. There's absolutely no way to have a legitimate Shiny HOME-transferable Mew. No way at all. Period. Bank/HOME will let it pass, but stronger legality checkers will notice that and throw an error, because the legitimate GF Mew had 15/15/15/15 DVs/IVs, which isn't shiny in Gen 2 (and Bank works that way, since it tries to keep shininess from Gen 2 to the later games). It doesn't check Mew's DVs, so it lets shiny ones pass, but that is 100% impossible without hacking/cheating, so PKHeX or sysbot legality checkers can and will notice that.

Technical question here: isn't booting the SysNAND into CFW a major red flag with a high risk of bans? I've never modded my own Switch because of that. I have no interest in running pirated games on it, but save dumping and restoring is something I would have definitely done over the years (and have done extensively on 3DS) if I had known it was safe.

The problem is getting access to the Violet save on the OFW Switch. Unlike the 3DS games, saves aren't stored on cart. Piracy is not condoned here, so let's say you have eShop copies on your CFW Switch. How do you plan to use PKHeX to move your Pokémon to the cart version of Violet? You wouldn't even need to move the Pokémon themselves, you could just import your old save if it was stored on cart. But it isn't. It's stored on the other (OFW) Switch. So you have to trade them manually between both Switches. If you mean you have two separate NANDs (SysNAND/EmuNAND), then it's even harder, since you can't trade without a second Switch and a third save. Unless there's a way to copy the save into your SysNAND in such a way that it's usable with your cart version without triggering any sort of protection/ban. I don't have a CFW Switch, so I can't say for sure.

The modded 3DS would enable you to read the save file and edit it with PKHeX, yeah. But it would be useless without a way of getting the Pokémon files themselves into Pokémon HOME. That said, if the Japanese 3DS has Bank installed, you just need to get those Pokémon into a Japanese 3DS game (and PKHeX can be used for that) and then send them up from Bank to HOME.

@SkyLink98 is obviously 100% correct. However, if you provide a bit more info, we might be able to help out. What games are you trying to import Pokémon from? Did those saves come from physical copies or backups played in a flashcard/emulator? What consoles do you own and which are modded?

Trading between HeartGold and Platinum should work between flashcards. Transferring to Black 2 would require at least one of the Gen 4 games to be a retail cart, or save editors.

Thanks! So the Jirachi is definitely fine? It's literally been 20 years, so I couldn't be 100% sure if there had been any tampering (I only remember using AR for Rare Candies, Master Balls and the like)

Hi! I have a CHANNEL Jirachi from way back when, in my Colosseum save (circa 2004). As far as I remember, I haven't touched it at all, besides normal gameplay (it has like 3 EVs). However, the latest update (24.03.26) throws a legality error. I'm a bit scared, since, when HOME came out, I cloned most of these (by backing up the saves) and sent them up all the way to HOME, so this Pokémon is now in my HOME account and went through my Sword version. Here are two versions of it: 385 - Jirachi - 62EC2A04C3A5.pk80385 - JIRACHI - 519F2A04C3A5.ck3 Could this be an error? Thanks in advance

Wouldn't this be possible with Bank? Or does Bank update these numbers if you, say, transfer a whole bunch of Pokémon from older games?

Do you have file extensions showing? If so, what's the full name of the file? PKHeX.exe?

Yes, every pre-Gen-7 clone gets a different HOME tracker. I've transferred a few technically cloned mons from Gen 4 (reload old save, transfer again) and I've had zero issues.
