Hi, Thanks for your answer, but i'm an active user on both sites, and projectpokemon is from far my best bet here. Every huge name in save editing / data mining is here. So, not really good places for that. But thanks anyway. -
Hi ! If i'm making this thread is because i'm searching everywhere for this, but I've never found anything good about this... So to do simple, i'm Shiny Hunting A LOT on it, but now it's getting annoying to find always the same Shiny (1* Alakazam is awesome, 5* Alakazam is boring) so I'd like if there's any information to edit the save in order to have other Pokemon (and this way having a different Shiny collection), and i've to admit that finding more informations about save editing in Pokemon Ranch is quite weird. I'm dreaming of a "level editor" with Pokemon for the game, but I guess i'll deal with just save editing informations. Thanks !

Well, I know that, of course. But I mean is save editing for earlier version is SAFE enough in order to have proper Pokemon files and can be used without any problem in the future ? I'm talking about nicknames / dates / encounter place. Thanks !

Hi, I know i'm coming with a stupid question but anyway... For the past weeks, i've started to extract my saves in order to put some order on my Shiny collection (4000+ at the moment, with RNG and all that kind of stuff) but now i've some doubt for the future. In the past, i'd problems with extracted Pokemon from other tools (like corrupted files with Pikasav or Pikaedit for 4/5G and 1/2G files) so i've started to put everything in an usb key but I'd like to be sure that pkhex is enough ready for files from past gens. (I mean gen 5 or older) I've did my collection with 6G/7G because i think it's okay now, but i'd like to know if I can do the same with older gens (long and difficult project in fact) Thanks !

Well, even if I don't have any skill (but I mean, NOT AT ALL) to edit the source code or the API, i'm gonna check for some help or stuff like that, because right now i'm still lost x_x But it's do-able, so it's already something for me ! Thanks for the help o/

Hi ! I've a little suggestion that could help A LOT people dealing with a lot of saves at the same time. Because of doing some searches on Shiny related, i've started to have a huge important of Pokemon save files. After years, I think my collection is near of the 1000 different saves (RNG, searches, hack-rom etc etc) so I lost track of all my Pokemon. I'd like to put some order on everything and be able to use only one save per game and the PKHeX database in order to have every pokemon at one place. But now, i've a little problem. I need to dump every pokemon file from every save. You can imagine this is quite problematic (not that lazy, i started to do it... But everytime having to put my team on pc boxes, putting in the right place etc needs a lot of time and between my studies + job it's quite difficult) So that's why i'd like to know if we could have a massive pokemon file extractor. This way we just could have to put our saves in a folder, and pkhex starts to extract every pokemon file from them into the database folder. I'm not sure if it's do-able with PKHeX, but i wanted to try, because this could help people like me with many saves. Thanks !

Hey o/ ! Thanks for the answer. Sadly i've already tried that (because i was sure at 99% the problem was from the map position) with a valid Diamond save. Didn't work. Maybe i didn't save properly / idk gonna retry. But if it's the map position, I know where to look, thanks o/

Hi ! Because of starting a huge personnal database (from Gen 1 to 7), i've decided today to withdraw pokemon from my Pokemon Ranch AND Pokemon Box (but in fact this, it's not important). But the problem is i lost the cartridge which I used for putting all my Pokemon on Pokemon Ranch. So I dumped my new save (pokemon pearl) and edited only Trainer + TID + SID. I injected the game, launched the game, and after the journal, black screen. I know it's in early stage, and you focus on the Gen VII, but i thought that this problem was important. I can provide the base save + save edited with the crash, if needed. Thanks !

Oh maybe yes ! I've the (bad) reflex of always saying "yes" when they want a nickname X_X Edit : it's not the problem. Just hatched my Riolu. Didn't press "yes" for the nickname, and still flagged as Nicknamed on PKHeX

Hi ! Since a few weeks, i've decided to re-do ALL the Pokemon Games, and use (if possible) a universal storage for each game. (that's why i made the suggestion for a different Pkmn database) i've discovered a little bug that is not so important, but anyway, it's always better to report it. For any pokemon from gen 1 to 5, PKHeX thinks the Pokemon have a nickname. Even if it's not the case. I'm playing Pokemon Pearl right now, and I have a Haunter. I wanted to evolve it via PKHeX (don't have all my DS right now so), and when editing to Gengar it's keeping the "SPECTRUM" (french's Haunter) name. Easy to fix I know, but jsut a proof that every Pokemon caught as flag as nicknamed, but it's not the case. Using PokeGen (for exemple) shows that the Pokemon doesn't have any nickname, so it's normal. Thanks o/

Hi ! I'm sorry, you are right with the Ctrl + D tool but I still have two suggestions for this ? I've asked this because I was not able to open it with my old computer but i've tried with the same database with my new PC and I've to admit it's really nice. - Any possibility to create subfolders in the db folder in order to be able to make some category ? Because for exemple, i'm doing mass breeding, mass SHiny Hunting, RNGing, did some rom hacking etc, I'd love to have a FIRST filter with folders (you open the Ctrl+D and you can choose which folders you want to see) ? This way I could organize better my pokemon files (Almost 30k of files from download + personnals saves) and this way it could deal with old computers by loading what I really need ? - And one i'd love for this is the possibilty to drag from the Database into the Boxes (or from the Boxes to the Database) rather than having to write it to the db or to do "view => set" ? I mean like we can do with 2 PkHeX and drag&drop ? Thank you for the answer !

Hi ! So first, I know that my suggestion will not be really related to PkHeX but well, I really want to ask / try because it's a feature i'd love to see added since PKHeX can now ready any saves from 1 to 6 Gen. As the title says, I'd love a 'little' option where we could store Pokemon in PC Boxes exclusive for PKHeX. I'm a huge user of Trigger's PC, and I've to admit that i'm really addicted to it. And now it's quite difficult for me to play others gens (except 6G) because of the lack of a huge Pokemon Bank like. Of course, i'm not asking for any option (and not even editing Pokemon present in these boxes), this way people could keep interest for the real Pokebank / Pokemon Box / Trigger's PC for the 6Gen, if they want. Moreover there's no effective tool for Gen 1-2 and Gen 4 for people playing with saves. It'd be really nice to have an universal PC storage like this. For exemple i deal with a LOT of saves and pokemon files, and this way i could keep every pokemon file in one place to put them where I want after in my main saves, or just make a collection of them. And this way, we could have a place to store all pokemon in the case if we have a HUGE db folder (yes it's my case OTL) I know it's not the purpose of PKHeX, but it's the only tool with Gen 1-6 save reading, and could be really helpful for many players. So my only solution is to re-do the game again ? I've save states (for exemple with my Colosseum, i've one like 10 minutes before my actual save) and this save state has all my pokemon in their shadow form. But i can't overwrite the save saying the save could not be writen etc... I understand, but so Gen 1-2 will have a good support ? because it's more for these two gens i'm asking this o/ Thanks ! Edit : Found a little bug. I'm RNGing a little on Emerald, and i did two gastly eggs. Here's the spread (IVs) : Egg 1 : 31-31-27-31-31-31 Egg 2 : 31-31-31-31-31-31 Now the stats : Egg 1 : 19-8-8-17-8-14 Egg 2 : 19-10-8-17-10-14 They are both mild, the only difference is the Def IV. No idea of what can be the cause of this, but reporting, at least o/ Of course, A-Save is showing the right stats for both o7 Edit 2 : I've a suggestion. Any possibility to support hackroms with many Pokemon hax ? I mean, I don't want to have their datas or anything but like items, just putting an "?" instead of the Pokemon with no data about moves etc, this way pepole using hack roms (649/721 Pokemon hackrom in my case) could use to trade between saves of FR and Emerald (same hack of course) without any problem ? Hi ! I'm sorry I thought I answered to this, but i'd many problems IRL, and so i didn't check and nop... I didn't reply. I've more free time now, so I can help / check again. For your question about my bug, nop i've caught 40 Shadow Pokemon and 0 are purified in my Pokedex. But they are not shadow anymore. And just a question, with all the upgrade with pkhex etc supporting all gens, are you thinking about making a special Trigger's PC with supporting others gens ? i've to admit I almost don't play other gens because of the lack of Trigger's PC Thanks, and sorry, again.

Hi ! I'm back after many weeks (working + moving on a new project well), and i've to admit i didn't play a lot the 3rd Gen, but now i've some free time. And of course, i've checked this thread every day. And i'm really happy to see finally out of beta, and a huge congratz for that ! You did a perfect job, and i can only thank you a LOT for everything you did in this tool. Really. With that i'm playing EVERY pokemon game (not gen 1) with a One Drive save folder. And only for that it's amazing (but i still have to make that working on dolphin), except that now BECAUSE OF THIS, i'm dreaming of a similar tool for every gen (in a easy way, like just storing / withdrawing pokemon between saves) really. Now back with a little suggestion (but i think i already made it), the possibility to store the "Your PC" data where we want (the One Drive for me) But wow, i'm so happy to have this tool now haha o/ Edit : oh do you still need my colosseum + save with all my shadow pokemon lost ? Thanks o/

Hi o/ I'm back after (like always) a little hiatus because of work, and after trying the Purificater i've discovered something. A few weeks ago after an update, all my Colosseum / shadow pokemon had their normal sprites. After checking the changelog, I THOUGHT (and it was a terrible mistake) you deleted the shadow sprite stuff, but in fact... They're not shadow anymore. I've some backups, but after this because i thought it was ok. And when I launched Colosseum tonight, i had the surprise to see ALL my Shadow Pokemon normal in game (i keep them shadow atm for collection purpose) Is it a bug that you were aware of ? Any way to fix that ? Thanks o/

If i open FIRST my Shiny Charizard (will keep this exemple) same bug. But i can see its summary AFTER closing the bug report (but i'm fearing to loose something) so not really haha. But i see that the bug is from the two saves i choose to set as default ?

omg that's strange... I try 2 things : First continue to summary AFTER the bug report. Working fine. And second to open a pokemon of my team NOT from the defaults rows (working fine and after i can check my Charizard etc without any bug) You want my Emerald / Fire Red save anyway?

Hey o/ Just uploaded to the last version, and finally to be able to set the defaults box / saves is AMAZING ! Really You did a great job this past days. I'm looking for the secret feature haha i want to know T_T I had difficult days, and i'm going to be free for the next hours mwahaha i'm ready to play ! I've a question : I'm boring with my dropbox etc questions, but is it working with the onedrive stuff too ? Thanks o/ edit : bug when i wanted to check my Charizard in my team and more a suggestion rather than a bug or something, but it'll be hard for me to explain right now. SO i've configured my Trigger's PC in order to have : Your PC -Row 1- Fire Red Emerald (before it was Your PC Row 1 / Your PC Row 2 / ) and i wanted to check the pokedex of my Fire Red so i had to put it in the FIRST row. After I wanted to put my "Your PC" in the first row and rather to switch between these two, i got the Row 2 that i don't want to see right now. So anyway to fix that ? or better if the "Focus" tool would be able to set all the "Items / Pokédex" etc settings ? This way we could keep the order of the row and when we focus a specific row all the tab informations would be from this save ? Thanks again !

Well it's more annonying ? And why not being able to put the "Your PC" save where we want (via settings.xml) ? This way people could put it in a Dropbox folder if they want. They could put different save path for EACH Trigger's PC (so X Trigger's PC for X computer but only ONE save for Boxes / Secret Bases / ITems ?) I'm sorry to ask this, it's more a suggestion than question now haha. Thanks o/
