    Sadly we can't "choose" a firmware to update to, with I think the exception of using a gateway and .cia's or whatnot but I have no knowledge of that. Oh and uh... it's [.s] [./s] (without the dots, they are there so it doesn't trigger) instead of btw it will show like this

    Showdown doesn't read the EVs, the nature nor the ability in what you originally pasted. And if you are so concerned about it and cannot perform the simple task for reformatting a build then download the pkhex source and fix it yourself.

    Say what? Well you can't have the latest patch of either game on a 9.5.0-22 system as they require you to update the firmware so for XY 1.0 - 1.3 works and for ORAS 1.0-1.2 works.

    I never suggested it was console related. I cannot even import your save, as it's not (without extra work) possible to import ramsav from game A into game B. I asked for the save to have a look at it in PKHeX.

    @Shiro Asyrani It's a longshot, but perhaps you made edits that aren't all that good for the game. Could you upload and share both the edited ramsav as well as the unaltered ramsav?

    If the 2ds has between 9.0 and 9.5.0-22 then it will work. But be cautious with the purchase!

    Since the previous time I reported a bug I used video footage to show what it was about and that, for me, turned out being much easier than reporting it with written words I thought to myself "well.. why not record it again". Thus here I am once more reporting a small bug I have noticed. This time it is a text recognition bug in the showdown importer.     Actually I can confirm that on the dexnav it'll just show the regular available pokemon. When clicking on one it'll search for that pokemon, but as the encounter reference table has been altered a search for i.e. Mew pops up instead. Perfectly "normal" for as far as it concerns the game. Furthermore, as it is an edit on RAM level rather than on ROM level, leaving petalburg woods and re-entering it resets the encounters to normal ones.

    RAM editing can as far as I am aware not cause a corrupted save. Those rumors were debunked long ago.

    As Timeboy said, it might be possible to alter the location, and thus the game. But why bother making it work with XY... > the mons are 9/10 times illegal for online use till edited > just about everyone has ORAS > ORAS is better ;D

    The only ORAS Shiny locked are Kyogre / Groudon / Rayquaza / Deoxys, sadly.

    The whole QR for single mon injection is nonsense. There is ram2sav which allows pretty much entire save editing. That said, the whole injecting to breeder is pointless even if it were possible. Update data -> encrypted firmware -> not stored on SD card but on console -> inaccessible eshop app data -> stored on console -> inaccessible

    You really need to rethink your way of asking if you want to get a proper answer. That, and if you'd do some proper research you'd know that is not at all how it all works. Start by looking into what the exploit was actually based on.

    It has been proven before that updating the firmware with what a game supplies wont help towards getting the web exploit to work

    That is correct. I believe you can however have a gateway and all that comes with it on 8.1, so that would be a way. (Since Roms can be edited and then ran on a gateway)
