  1. You would still use the location found in Sinnoh region. The name of locations such as the "Oreburgh Mine", "Route 203", "Valley Windworks", and etc. would still appear in HGSS. It's only when you traded Pokemon from HGSS over to DPPt that the location becomes "Far Away Place." Try trading over Pokemon from DDPt over to HGSS and you should get the same result.
  2. The 85h would be "05." I don't think Mewtwo is a Pokemon that's triggered by event like Darkrai, Shaymin, Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina (Platinum). These values are actually for HGSS too.00 - Egg/Pal Park/Event/Honey Tree/Shaymin (D/P/Pt) 02 - Tall Grass/Darkrai (D/P/Pt) 04 - Dialga/Palkia (D/P/Pt) 05 - Cave/Hall of Origin/Giratina (D/P/Pt) 07 - Caught in the Water (D/P/Pt) 09 - Caught in Buildings (D/P/Pt) 17 - Distortion World (Giratina) (Pt) 18 - Starter Pokemon/Bebe's Eevee/Fossil Pokemon (Pt) 0A - Great Marsh/Safari Zone (D/P/Pt) 0C - Starter Pokemon/Fossil Pokemon (D/P) Most of the 85h values are actually for HGSS too, as the author just forgot to edit them. However, I do believe we need to wait for the 85h values for Lugia, Ho-Oh, and possibly Suicune. I think they may have their own sets of 85h like Dialga, Palkia, Shaymin, and Giratina (Platinum). The 85h depends on what kind of terrain you caught your Pokemon in. If it were hatched from an egg, then the 85h would be "00." Below is the list of number for each kind of terrain.00 - Egg/Pal Park/Event/Honey Tree/Shaymin (D/P/Pt) 02 - Tall Grass/Darkrai (D/P/Pt) 04 - Dialga/Palkia (D/P/Pt) 05 - Cave/Hall of Origin/Giratina (D/P/Pt) 07 - Caught in the Water (D/P/Pt) 09 - Caught in Buildings (D/P/Pt) 17 - Distortion World (Giratina) (Pt) 18 - Starter Pokemon/Bebe's Eevee/Fossil Pokemon (Pt) 0A - Great Marsh/Safari Zone (D/P/Pt) 0C - Starter Pokemon/Fossil Pokemon (D/P) The hex value of "Route 6" is "9A." The 46h should be "9A." The 44h, 45h, and 47h should be "00." The 85h and 86h would depend on what kind of terrain you caught your Latias in and what Pokeball you used. The rest of informations are on the front page of the guide. Yes, that is normal. The Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum version will see "Daycare Couple/Far Away Place" instead of "Daycare Couple/Route 34." You would still use the location found in Sinnoh region. The answers to most of the questions should be found in the guide. I will try to answer a few because trying to answer all of them is tedious. It's not like we have to answer every questions with the same thing over and over.I will try to answer question that I have answer to.
  3. Thanks for sharing your finding with the forum, Lucky Dearly. I see that you have hatched your Togepi in Violet City. Finally, we now know the hex values for Mr. Pokemon. These are the two values we were looking for: 44h - DD 45h - 07
  4. Because the programmers decide they don't deserve wasting their time updating the current HGSS PokeSav and think we could just type in the hex value manually instead. Right now what we are doing is trying to find all of the location in HGSS by inputing each and every hex values. Or at least to the amount that we think should get all of the location in HGSS. Either that or the programmers were waiting for us to do the work for them to gather all the hex values at once before they do a huge update.
  5. It means that Pokemon was either caught with Poke Ball or was hatched--meaning the default ball would have also been Poke Ball. Check out the reference in the hex value guide. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?218-%7EGuide-to-44h-45h-46h-47h-and-85h-Values%7E
  6. Did you made sure to copy and paste the code for SoulSilver and not for the HeartGold? You might have to scroll down a little to see the second set of code for each version. Did you also made sure to download the English version of HGSS PokeSav and not in Japanese or another version? Oh wait, did you meant to ask for the game ID's? Then in that case, for the English SoulSilver version, it's "IPGE-2D5118CA". I don't think it's capital sensitive, though. Oh, don't blame these guys. You said the code was from the junkies, right? These guys here have no association with them. But, can you at least describe to me what kind of hack did you used to have caused that malfunction of your PokeGear? Maybe you can link me to the page of the code. I could probably try to see what's wrong.
  7. Yeah, that's because "04" is Poke Ball in HG/SS. It's only 00 if it's hatched in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum or was caught in the Pal-Park.
  8. The short question is: "Is the 'Met at Level' for a hatched Pokemon still at 0?" According to the Pokemon Legibility guide, this was true. However, this guide was also intended for Pokemon D/P versions. The link to the Pokemon Legibility is here. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?825-Pokmon-Legality-Guide I need someone to confirm me if that information is still true for the Pokemon Platinum and HG/SS.
  9. 85h=00. 86h=04. Take a look here. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?218-%7EGuide-to-44h-45h-46h-47h-and-85h-Values%7E 85h is "00" because it's hatched from an egg. 86h is "04" because the default Pokeball is...Poke Ball. Good luck.
  10. You just need to swap places between DayCareCouple and Farawayplace. Make the "Egg Hatched At" to be 2000, and the "Met in Place" to be 3002. I know it doesn't make sense for the "Egg Hatched At" to be the DayCareCouple, but it's really WHERE or WHO you got the egg from. The programmer must've gotten lazy or forgot to change that detail. You need to change to "Class 2" for the "Serene Grace" ability. "Class 1" is for "Hustle." In the future you can use Serebii PokeDex for the order of abilities. Also, make change for the "Met at Level" to "0." Check out this Pokemon Legibility guide. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?825-Pokmon-Legality-Guide Everything else seems to be correct, otherwise. Good luck. Edit: Hold on. I need to confirm if the "Met at Level" is still supposed to be "0" for the hatched Pokemon. This is HG/SS now, so I need to check.
  11. Never mind. While trying to wait for any answer or suggestion, I went and do a direct search on Google and managed to find most of the SID for the event Pokemons. I may as well post the link here in case there are others who were wondering the same. http://www.pkmdb.com/event/GameStop-Jirachi-USA No thanks to this forum.
  12. I've been planning to make PokeSav of the event Pokemons, but I'm just missing the SID for them. I have heard from somewhere that event Pokemons from the GBA have their SID set to 0. Is that even true? I'm also wondering if the NDS event Pokemon has their SID too. If someone knows what's the SID of the Jirachi OT:GAMESTP and the Jirachi OT:WISHMKR, can you please let me know or at least help clarify some of the questions I'm having? If you guys know a list of SID for all event Pokemons, can you please give me the link or post their SID here? Another question too. Does Pokemon from GBA such as FireRed or Ruby have SID? Like, was the SID even in those GBA versions? Was it just discovered in the NDS? Thanks.
  13. Oh wow, that is interesting. However, I found my method to be quite workable, too. Oh I see. I wasn't sure if I was blinded before, for not seeing Aruna's reply on my topic and what not. Haha.
  14. It sounded like you were making a Ralt with 31 IV in every stats. And yea, you'd have to lower other IV if you want your favored characteristic to surface. EDIT: As codemonkey85 has posted, you can go into the mathematical detail and change the value of the IV to favor out the characteristic that you'd want it to surface. Nah, not always. It could just have all 30 IV except the speed, which would be 31 IV, or the highest. You can still have class 1 ralt, and with the "alert to sounds" characteristic. But that is, you won't be having a Ralt with all 31 IVs. Synchronise ability is for the class 1 type, and if you planned to make it with 31 IV, then that'd be impossible....Yea. I don't know any kind of hack that can make your Ralt have "alert to sounds" with all 31 IV, and being class 1. EDIT: About the last sentence, scratch that out. You'd just have to calculate out the PID Mod 6 and keep altering it until you get the dominant IV for the characteristic. Both methods do work, though. One is more simpleton, whilst the other requires some understanding and thinking. Red mean it's female gendered. Blue is male. Green is neutral, meaning it's neither male nor female. Yes, I would believe the same thing with all 30 IV, and etc. For many countless times that I've made any Pokemon with PokeSav, I've always obtained those results--seeing the HP, Def, and SAtk being correspondant to class 1, and vice versa for class 2. That is, if all IVs are the same. EDIT: That is, before I found out about the PID relation to characteristic.
  15. If you're going with all 31 IVs, then you'd have to change to Class 2 in order to obtain the other 3 characteristics. I've posted a topic covering this topic just today. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4303
