It is possible your ISP or router configuration is set up in such a way that DNS redirection doesn't work. Nothing you can do if that's the case.

My best suggestion is to try a different network.

Hi guys, it has come to my attention that SingTel, the Singaporean ISP hosting The Global Terminal, has suddenly gone on a nation wide blackout. As such, The Global Terminal is currently down on both servers.

I can't update the thread either, since I'm posting from mobile with the laggiest Internet since Dialup (phone is under Singtel too!), so it appears I have a lack of communication until SingTel gets back up and running.

Nope. I believe you are trying to gain the message "Apparently met at" for the Pokemon to simulate a trade? That is meant to appear if the Pokemon has a different ID/SID,etc from the save's ID/SID,etc.

I should be Daycare Couple, Level 1, Hatched at Pinwheel Forest.

Link Trade is used for Eggs, as far as I know.

Did you change the DNS Settings on your DS correctly?

Are you using a 3DS, DSi or DS?

Looks like the game is going to reach Europe in Autumn. That's a considerably short localization period compared to previous games.

Legal.exe hasn't been updated for many later events for 4th Gen. Ignore the "Hacked or Unknown Pokemon" warning.

Don't know about the "?" signs,post the PKM here or something.

0 is automatically removed from the ID/SID if less than 5 digits.

I was using an actual R4, one of the first to come out lol.

I too have this problem, my R4 did not work with Ranch. Haven't tried with my Supercard DStwo but my Wii is buried somewhere.

I think it's best you try and restore a save to a retail cartridge using something like the NDS+.

Hello this guide has really helped me make my Pokemon seem legitimate. But I'm having one problem, that being the nickname. I've entered the name as 'Sceptile' (It's a bred one hatched in Gen 5) but when I place it on Pokecheck it says: Sceptile\xFFFF\x0000\x0000

All characters in name are valid.

Invalid terminator sequence in trash bytes.

How do I fix this?

Noticing spambot activity on this forum recently, I'd like to suggest the use of the StopForumSpam plugin.

PokemonGTS uses this plugin, we haven't had a spambot in well, forever.

What StopForumSpam does is check every registration detail against their database of spammers/bots, and they have a considerably extensive database.

I'd also suggest that links cannot be posted in signatures/posts unless there is at least 1 post count or more.

Well, when he first released the 5th Gen version, there was an issue that affected Bond697 and I where an extra ribbon from previous gift data would remain, so the output Pokemon was hacked. IIRC this has already been fixed. Then there are those bugs where the program just doesn't work for some people, e.g. program doesn't launch.

I'd actually prefer using PokeGen, if I don't require any functions that are in MGE or if the functions are on par. This is because PokeGen has all the functions in a tab format or easily accessible within 2 clicks at most, this makes it very user friendly, etc. Not to mention it's a shortcut on my Quick Launch, lol.

I believe PokeSav AR export only works for JPN games, actually. The translated version didn't change the code values so yeah, they don't work with our games.

Grovyle's MGE, IMO, is awesome for 4th Gen. A lot of additional options and apparent bugs here and there, IIRC, made the 5th Gen one unusable to me, which is why I'm currently using PokeStock. Wish Grovyle would come back and continue his project, it really is an awesome tool.

Well, MGE and PokeSav have MG support but PokeSav has a faulty AR export and MGE has none at all, so PokeGen having it will be beast. Not to mention far more user friendly, I believe, since PokeGen's UI is generally user friendly.

Try using a GTS Spoofing program (PokeCheck, PokeGTS.us, ShinyGTS, IR-GTS) to send the PKM to your game.

Once you edit any aspect of the PKM file it becomes LEGAL at best.

Just directly save the PKM into your game without editing anything?
