  1. PKHeX is a save editor for core-series Pokémon games. With it, users can manipulate various save files including: .sav, .dsv, .dat, .gci, .raw, and .bin types. PKHeX can also read and write: .pk files, which are individual Pokémon files, and .pgt, .pcd, .pgf, .wc, wcfull, which are Mystery Gift files.

Version 25.11.06 of PKHeX has been released, fine tuning support for Pokemon Legends: Z-A's, and adding other save editing functions. Do not report issues with this release's handling with legality/encounters.

PKHeX now requires the .NET Desktop Runtime 9.0 to run. If you receive an error when trying to run, ensure you have it installed.

Please note that other related applications will still require time to update, and updated versions of plugins or SysBot may not be available immediately.

     - Added: Support for Legends: Z-A.
     - Legality:
     - - Initial handling for recognizing and generating encounters from Z-A.
     - - Please do not report issues with this release's handling with legality/encounters. We are aware of what still needs work.
     - Notes:
     - - All encounters can be traced back to an RNG seed.
     - - With multiple shiny rolls (wild only) or shinies, this calculation is not instant (>15 seconds), so it is only done for non-shiny 1-rolls.
     - - Do not be lulled into a false sense of safety that PKHeX does not flag your modified Pokémon's PID/IVs.
     - - Cheat codes that modify the RNG generation routine is detectable in the resulting Pokémon, as previously mentioned in Discord.
     - - Ability editing via the GUI has been forced into All-Abilities mode due to GameFreak not updating a Pokémon's ability on evolution.
     - Added: Gen9a: Pokédex and Trainer Info editor are available.
     - Added: Gen9a: Event block editors are available. 64-bit hash => text is not provided at this time.
     - Added: Gen9a: Fashion block editors are available. Fashion-item ID => text is not provided at this time.
     - Added: Bulk (Verify All) checks for issues with the save file, such as mismatched Fused slots or Mega stone inventory state issues.

Do you mind explaining what this means? And what about the majority of Pokémon simply not having EV's (unless that's what you meant by, "The clones are later injected back to be rare candied to evolve.")?

And ah, I see the GitHub messages. So it seems AR and things are used, so not "legitimate" in the sense I initially thought I suppose (catching every Pokémon that's obtainable in whatever Version and manually training them to evolve and whatnot). Interesting.

Personally I only care about the PID-IV-Nature-etc correlations, if those are sound, I'm good to go.

They aren't battle trained, they're Rare Candied up. So, they won't have EVs.

So, if this were true and the Pokemon are legitimately obtained in-game then.....

Why would legality fixes need to be done? Not trying to be smart, genuinely curious.

    And ones like this: https://github.com/ReignOfComputer/RoCs-PC/commit/f15f44c9781f2d65f689a53c0386278e15e38863

    And this:

And Pokemon having 0 EVs on your .sav files on the GitHub. Just no way in my opinion...

If you scroll just south of that commit you'll see what happened to the Milotic and the rest.

The Pokemon are legitimately obtained, for me that's on the PID side of things, and sometimes (especially for the older games) I did shortcut things like the beauty stat. See the Git description for each of the commit.

Also, about the clones between party and collection, I dump the Pokemon when they are first obtained (e.g. the starters), then continue using them as my party but have already exported them out as part of the living dex collection (sort of a first available instance). The clones are later injected back to be rare candied to evolve. I believe in later (current) games they're distinct Pokemon altogether asI breed them instead.

    Hello ! I

had some issue while trying to edit super secret base for ORAS,

    here is the report

You need to provide more information. When did this pop up, when you clicked "Secret Base"? Or when you tried to make an edit?

If it's popping up immediately when you clicked Secret Base, perhaps you could contribute the save file for developers to take a look.
