Mankey and Bulbasaur do not exist in Legends Arceus, so you can not convert them. Same with Onix which does not exist in Scarlet. Mankey exists in Brilliant Diamond, so that one works. Starting with Gen 8 GameFreak decided to cut some Pokemon out of the games. They don't even have data/models for those. Some Pokemon might get added through DLCs while others will remain unavailable.

As @Kaphotics said, Gen4 save files are 512KB, not 1MB. So there could be some issues in your flashcart/emulator settings. I trimmed the extra 512KB and it works (I also added a Pichu-Color-Pikachu in your Box 2, so you can directly use it to trigger the Spiky Eared Pichu event). Pro tip: you can use TWiLight Menu++, a DSi menu replacement, also with flashcarts. In this way you can have the best DS roms compatibility. Checkpoint works like a charm with all Pokémon DS/3DS carts, HGSS included.

1. Why would PKHeX want to be any different than how the games work? You can always try it and see -- you'll see that PKHeX retains everything the same way the game would. 2. You don't need to do each step one at a time. PKHeX chains all the conversions together for you. 3. You shouldn't need to override it from the default, so Yes/Cancel is the correct option for you. It's only useful for advanced users just wanting to inspect data unmodified. Trades update things and ensure it ends up in a legal state (like traded eggs or memories).

PKHeX uses the 3DS wordfilter. When trading, it would have its nickname reset and the OT changed to a version-specific bland name. Just because you understand a word as being tame does not mean it isn't foul per Nintendo's standards. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_censored_words_(Generation_V) It is my choice to use the 3DS wordfilter for all games, instead of no wordfilter or spending time reverse engineering wordfilters for every game. Better to use the most aggressive one for all so that cross-game transfer issues will be known ahead of time.

well , i found the solution by myself. so, if anybody need it, I'll write it down there. to be honest, this was my very first time i've ever used pkhex before. at first i wanted to drag some pkms on my italian save's storage that I've never connected to a ds but, loading the game, nothing happened. comparing the list in the block data of two different save file (mine and another one that connected to a ds before), i figured out that the options "Display SID" and "Display TID" in my pbrsavedata were set to 0 and in the other savefile to another number. So i decided to copy them in mine and BOOM the storage finally got unlocked!!!XDXDXD i don't know if it's "legal" in pokemon games doing things like that. But it worked so it's fine. I anybody can explain how it worked could be also good. and sorry for my bad english XD
