Making Gen 5 Pokémon on SV without transporting them with bank/home

You can make it appear legal, but if you ever need to use HOME to transfer them to other games, they’ll look and be illegal.

It won’t be detected in the sense that “you’ll be banned” or any negative consequence will come to you, but it’ll effectively become illegal; it is just how HOME works. You’ll be going against how HOME works and stores the data, resulting in illegal Pokémon.

If it originates from Gens 3 through 7 (SM/USUM) and Virtual Console, it's easiest to generate them in Gen 7, and then send through Bank and HOME to ensure HOME has the correct data.

If it originates in GO, and is LGPE compatible, generate it in LGPE, then send to HOME.
(If it isn't LGPE compatible, there's no game you can generate it in where HOME will have 100% correct data for it, and you cannot inject directly into HOME or GO, as both are server-side games that cannot be manipulated.)

If it originates from SWSH, generate it in SWSH, then send to HOME.

If it originates from BDSP,  generate it in BDSP, then send to HOME.

If it originates from Legends: Arceus, generate it in Legends: Arceus, then send to HOME.

If it originates from Scarlet or Violet, generate it in Scarlet or Violet, then send to HOME.

If it's a HOME gift you directly redeem in HOME, there's no way to generate these where they appear 100% legal in HOME, since HOME itself is doing the generation.

TLDR, if you want HOME to have the correct data to ensure it appears 100% legal, it has to enter HOME from the "game HOME expects it to enter from for the first time".

Then that’s wrong. They must enter HOME from the correct games. And that game differs based on origin game.

I know It's wrong but it works. It's gotta be their hack check is less than standard.

It works until it doesn't - it's extremely easy for them to see the Pokemon was hacked given it entered HOME for the first time (from a game through which it cannot enter HOME for the first time). All they have to do is decide to up their standard even slightly and your Pokemon could end up being marked as hacked.

If you just upload it to HOME for the first time via transferring through Bank from Gen 7 (and assuming all it's values/data checks out), then they'll never be able to say it was hacked, as it will look as legal as one that was legitimately obtained and transferred to HOME via the same means.

Point being; if you have access to Bank and can transfer to HOME from a Gen 7 game via Bank, then you might as well. Otherwise you're putting your Pokemon at risk for little to no reason.

I don't have the 3ds system for now that's why I just tried if it works or not. The point is it's working as of now not intended but it is indeed working.

It’s not working per se. If you deposited it into HOME, and viewed it from HOME mobile, you’ll probably see it has no ball.

If you transfer them into other games via HOME, it’ll appear incorrect in those games. You’re better off using unedited copies of mons from my HOME compatible living dex.

Yes correct it appears to not have a ball. Thanks for the link!
