Have any issues with my plugins? Or any question? Please let me know!

 

Before reporting an issue make sure that

• the plugin was made by me
• PKHeX and the plugin are both up to date
• the plugin was unblocked
• you have checked the FAQ

When reporting an issue

• give a detailed description of what is happening
• always provide the error message

 

My plugins:
Any other PKHeX plugins are not supported by me, please ask their respective developers!

FAQ

How can I unblock a plugin and why do I have to do that?

Win 10 might block DLL files downloaded from the internet. In that case right click the plugin file, go to properties and check "unblock" (as seen here).
If the checkbox is not there, everything should be fine.
Example of how to unblock:

Your WC3 Plugin is not working on the latest version of PKHeX!

Update the plugin or PKHeX. Version 2.3.0 is compatible with the latest PKHeX 25.02.23.

Hey I am super new to all of this, I downloaded the plug in, unblocked it, and added it to my plug in folder the same place I have the autolegal mod, but this one doesn't show up. I am running it on pkhex 2023.06.03

Do you have loaded a save file first?

I'm using my emerald save file and the plugin isn't showing up. I'm using latest release of pkhex.(I'm on windows 11)

Never mind, it worked after reoponing it a few times.

@Le Wolf Make sure you load PKHeX then drag in the save, as opposed to double clicking the save to load up PKHeX.

Make sure you unblock the plugin via Right Click->Properties over the plugins.

Also, how are you loading your save? Make sure you open a window of PKHeX first, then drag the save in; as opposed to double clicking your save to open PKHeX.

also i meant that windos 10 don't give errors when opening archive i meant that plugins don't work in pkhex

Directy dragging the save on the exe won't work. PKHeX doesn't tell the plugins that a save was loaded.
So you need to open PKHeX first and then drag your save into it.

Edit: fixed in the latest PKHeX dev build.

I found the solution looking around from blackshark

"You don't have to go into the Mystery Gift menu.

After you imported the wondercard correctly go into the 1st floor of any Pokemon Center, there's a guy on the left who will give you the ticket."

i created a plugins folder in the "directory" which i assume to be the same folder as my pkhex folder and it doesn't work do i need an older version or i unblocked it as well nothing works the plugin i'm trying to use is the wc3 by the way

The latest version of the plugin (2.2.2) should work fine on the latest version of PKHeX (24.03.26).

The plugins folder has to be next to the PKHeX.exe, so like this:

The plugin also won't show up if you don't have a save loaded.

Maybe your plugin is blocked by Windows.

Try to right-click the plugin .dll file and select "Properties." In the "General" tab, look at the bottom for a "Security" section. If there is, select the "Unblock" check box and click OK.

New PKHeX version broke both the Feebas and Mirage Island plugins. The app just crashes when it tries to load either of them.

First of all, I would like to thank BlackShark for this fantastic WC3 Plugin dedicated to Gen3.

I'm new here on the forum, so I apologize in advance if I’m not aware of any decisions made regarding support for this plugin.

I’d like to give a heads-up about the WC3 Plugin not working correctly on the latest PKHeX version (24.07.27). The Mystery Gift Database no longer displays the .wc3 format as an option with the plugin enabled.

To work around this issue, I've been using an earlier version of PKHeX (24.03.10), which is still compatible with WC3 Plugin 2.2.2.

@Tatooine if I recall correctly, that independent of the plugin. I believe PKHeX removed the option as the Pokémon were covered under the Encounter Database.

Hello, I've been trying to use the WC3 plugin's latest version (v2.3) on PkHex's latest version (24.11.11) since yesterday night, but I have been unable to make it work. I do not get any error window popping up when i try to use PkHex with a pokemon emerald file, but when I go in the Tools tab, the plugin option is not present. I believe I have done everything correctly (the dll file is within the plugins folder located in the same directory as PkHex's executable file with the zip archive being unblocked) as the Feebas locator plugin's latest version (v1.6.1) works on its own. Here are attached screenshots of the situation. Thank you in advance
