ILuvChinPokomon Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) For Legends Z-A is the game start date wrong on PkHex, or is this an emulator thing? It's showing the game start date as 1/1/2000. I can't change it either, it doesn't save when I do even though I hit save. Edited October 28 by ILuvChinPokomon

So in other words it's a PkHex thing? Like it just doesn't log the start date for Legends Z-A, is that correct? Because I noticed the start date PkHex shows for my Legends Arceus file is correct. 1
Blazingflare Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) Like a third of all the pokemon I've caught show up as invalid encounters and whatnot. I caught all of them while playing the Switch 2 version of the game, so obviously the game is being played vanilla with no mods affecting the encounter RNG. Also, most Pokemon I caught and immediately boxed and never touched again. I was using the latest public version of PKHex, V (25.10.26)b I can't remember the details of how/where I caught them all, but most I believe I caught outside of wild zones on roofs and such. The ones I do know the particular details for are: My Alpha Scolipede, which I caught as an alpha Whirlpede from the static alpha spot in wild zone 5 literally as soon as I could access that wild zone. Pkhex says it should have mastered spikes, but it never knew that move. It's one of my main party Pokemon and I've changed its moves a lot. The Alpha Riolu I caught as a random alpha on the roof above the shopping mall (I forget it's name) in Rouge Sector 4 as rank E My Alpha Sligoo I save reset to spawn and catch it as an alpha Goomy in Bleu Sector 7 near the pokemon center at the start of the day. PKhex lists it as an alpha flag mismatch for some reason. It's one of my Party Pokemon so I have changed its moves some. My Goomy I caught in Bleu Sector 7 from the same spot as the Sligoo quite awhile sooner. I was Rank W at the time. My Alpha Spinarak I caught in Wild Zone 4 from the static alpha spot as soon as I unlocked alpha Pokemon. My Alpha Houndoom I caught in Wild Zone 6 at Rank E from the static Alpha spot as a houndoom. Both Carvana I caught in Wild zone 10 the earliest time I was able to enter that zone (So Rank G or F) My Camerupt I caught as a Numel from Wild Zone 8 at the earliest time I could access that zone (I think Rank G). I later pumped it with EXP candies to evolve it and gave it just whatever decent moves it had access too so I could beat the side mission that required using a mega one. My Medicham I caught as a Meditite from Wild Zone 6 at the earliest time I could access that zone (I think Rank V). I later pumped it with EXP candies to evolve it (but didn't touch its moves) so I could beat the side mission that required using a mega one. invalid pokemon (25.10.26)b.zip Edited October 30 by Blazingflare 1

Sounds like PKHeX is working as intended; in-game captures has predictable stats (PID+correlated), so any stats that were changed randomly (which includes reroll) will cause that message to show up.
JeongJeong Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Galarian Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime in SWSH are flagged as "Invalid: Evolution not valid (or level/trade evolution unsatisfied)." if you transfer up a Mime Jr. from gen 4 that was at level 100 when it was brought through Poke Transporter and evolve it using a rare candy despite this being a perfectly valid method of evolving a Mime Jr. into a Galarian Mr. Mime or Mr. Rime. Oh these Galarian Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime also were brought to PLA and BDSP before evolving to get the Hisui and Twinkling Star ribbons but removing them in PKHeX doesn't change the error so I don't think it's relevant.

Ginger Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) If this is a known issue or something specific to my environment, I apologize. cloudzero Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Apologies if this is the wrong place for this! This is a very very small issue but given the error I thought it might be worth bringing up? I've found a very minor issue in gen 2 - a vc crystal save flags this unedited .pk1 haunter as illegal, but clicking on the legality icon produces the error below. This only happens on a vc .dat save, not the same crystal save converted to .sav, and also happens with a near-identical haunter from the encounter database (transferred from a gen 1 save through drag and drop). This doesn't happen in a gen 1 save at all. Also only happening with a vc crystal save, a .pk1 graveler and .pk1 machoke flag as illegal in the database search but not when viewed as .pk2 in the main window, and don't flag as illegal at all in gen 1 saves or a .sav crystal save. Is this something to do with how trade evolutions are handled? I remember middle-stage trade evolutions being flagged as illegal in gen 1 saves some time ago, but this seems to have been fixed! Please find attached the relevant files. The three affected pokemon are also in the last three slots of the last box in the file ('TRADES 2'), although only the haunter flags as illegal there.
