Gen V Hidden Ability Sableye

Hi,

I'm trying to create a Prankster Sableye in a White 2 save, but I keep getting this error - "Invalid: Hidden Ability not available."

The Sableye is set to hatch from an egg, and as I understand it, in White 2, Hidden Abilities could be passed down through breeding. So why is it invalid?

The Prankster Sableye you get in Black and White's Dream World is gender locked to male. Breeding mechanics wouldn't allow you to get HA on it because you would need a female Sableye with Prankster for it to work. Breeding a male Prankster Sableye with either a female Sableye or Ditto can only give you its standard Keen Eye/Stall abilities.

@ICanSnake bulbapedia lists that Sableye from Spooky Manor can be both male and female.

Additionally, it also lists that Sableye from Curtis trade isn't gender locked, and would have Prankster.

With that said, it should theoretically be able to be bred and obtained with HA.

Yeah, I already checked to see if it was gender locked by turning it into a Dream World 'mon, and PKHeX told me a female was legal, so not sure what's up.

Can't inherit a hidden ability as a genderless egg. Working as intended.
