Holla! Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Seeing as its TID indicates being an October distribution, I'm guessing this one is a free to claim online distro like Shiny Tapu Koko was. Cause Marshadow is the GameStop/EB GAMES code event for US/EU.

Cause Marshadow is the GameStop/EB GAMES code event for US/EU. That's incorrect, tho. The October date you see, is based of the Charizard event, which at this point, was the last one to be tested with full details. Silvally/Celebi/Marshadow have been doing tests with incomplete details, and in this case they're just the charizard card as base, meaning we only know Charizard's estimated event date, while the rest remains unknown Also an addition point, only Serial Code event had tests; Nintendo Network event really never had tests (they were simply uploaded early).
Holla! Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 You've stated the Silvally to be USUM receivable, and the TCG is said to release on November 4. I'm guessing it'll be sometime then or December? (Tapu Koko only came out in July, with its TCG pack releasing back in May according to Bulbapedia)

(Tapu Koko only came out in July, with its TCG pack releasing back in May according to Bulbapedia) The Silvally-Celebi Mashup indicated to be received by USUM, but the Silvally-Charizard indicated only SM, so I'm not sure what to think right now. Tapu Koko doesn't really count, since it's more of a "Shiny Box" situation (Promo, not main expansion), whereas these releases are directly tied to the main expansion.Guardians Rising was released May 5th, and Rocky Lycanroc was released on the same day. (US had to wait till May 15th)Burning Shadows was released August 4th, and Clovis Salazzle was released August 14th, which is a ten day gap.Crimson Invasion release date is November 4th, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon on November 17th, which is a gap of 13 days. The release of Silvally within that time frame wouldn't cause any problem. (Silvally is part of the main expansion)

Well damn, I didn't know that it was part of a TCG! lol Anyways, all this TCG crap and I just wanna hear about legitimate unreleased shinies for the games, especially the remaining 3 Tapus. This event is pointless unless it has some event-exclusive move.

I'm assuming the TCG crap is just padding out events in EU/US, as they don't wanna hear the "'Japan gets everything" type of statements. (Also, Japan didn't get Lycanroc and Salazzle >< ) Charizard is technically part of Burning Shadows, so I'm wondering why it's release date being *potentially* slated for October 1st. Maybe there's going to be a Charizard GX Tin or Charizard GX Box coming? (lols) In any case, I have to agree with you. I'm more interested in unreleased Shinies or unique event moves combinations.

Neither Rocky Lycanroc nor Clovis Salazzle are anything that special. Unreleased shiny stuff and neat event-exclusive moves are what matter.

Shiny Dialga, Palkia and Giratina was given to the west (and Japan didn't receive it). It is odd, that they never distributed Shiny Genesect to the west. Maybe we were supposed to use shiny creation trio to barter for a Genesect? XD Yeah, these TCG mons are boring. At least if it wasn't shiny locked, or if it had guaranteed IVs, then maybe it'll be worth it (since a person wouldn't have to breed/SR'd from normal in game that badly) Though at least we'll have a Cherish Ball Silvally. That's interesting in it's own way. I wonder if the USUM Rockruff would be in Cherish ball. If it's gonna be Ash's, unlikely
Holla! Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Y'know if this is to be a promotion for launching a product, wouldn't it only make sense for the Pokemon to know Celebrate? smh GF I know they didn't do it for the others and probably won't for this, but that move alone could redeem it...

Yeah, but these three were catchable in-game back in Gen 4, and since shiny lock wasn't a thing back then, anyone could have them. As an event exclusive Mon, we western players have to either hack or trade to get that shiny Genesect. 29 minutes ago, theSLAYER said: Though at least we'll have a Cherish Ball Silvally. A Cherish Ball's gonna be a bit more interesting at the very least. Edited September 2, 2017 by Ruby Genseki

While that's true, its also possible that there were players in japan that would have wanted an event one (Cherish ball, after all) 19 minutes ago, Ruby Genseki said: I wanted to have it in a Beast Ball but then in turned out to be a gift and therefore Poké Ball-only. theSLAYER Posted September 11, 2017 Author Posted September 11, 2017 Given that news for the Shiny Silvally in Japan just leaked, and the dates of the event matches up with: 1. Slightly after Crimson Invasion release in Japan, and 2. Exact same date as Virtual Console release of Pokemon Gold and Silver. (having marketing dates line-up, typically is a good tactic to drive traffic to stores, since people could come for either reason, and might end up buying stuff) There may be a slim chance that this event is a mirror of the Japanese event, and that it may come sooner than we expected. (either ahead of the Shiny promo release, together with GS VC release, or it'll wait till the Shiny promos release in the west.) We'll update this page as the story breaks.
jojo12100 Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 In that case it'll release in November in SM via Wifi like Shiny Tapu Koko or later in USUM via Serial Code in non-Japanese versions. 1

Yeah, after all "Shiny Silvally GX box" release date is November 17th. So they could either release it then too ><
