players who insert a serial code that will be found inside a Hoopa and the Clash of Ages themed calendar. Players had to purchase either the artbook style or the desktop style calendar from the Pokémon Store Korea to receive a serial code for the Pokémon of their choice. Each calendar also includes a ticket for Hoopa and the Clash of Ages.

The calendars were sold from the Pokémon Store Korea starting on November 3, 2015, at the Cheongnyangni Lotte Department Store in Seoul, South Korea from November 20 to December 7, 2015, and at the Jamsil Lotte Department Store from December 10 to 27, 2015. The serial codes could be used to obtain the Pokémon from November 20, 2015 to January 31, 2016.

They have all the same Attacks and items as the Japanese one

While Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia and Kyurem all have unique serial codes, Giratina has a common code which is 1223MOVIE. It will be redeemable from November 26 2015 to January 31 2016.

Official Site: http://pokemonkorea.co.kr/?inc=movie-m18-gift_01

You have to input the correct pass phrase which is 기라티나

Finally, a code I can actually redeem. I can fill in the information from that website.

Giratina

Serial Code: 1223MOVIE

Level: 100

Ability:

[Another Form] Telepathy

[Origin Form] Levitate

Learned Moves:

Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor, Shadow Dive, Iron Head

Held Item: Griseous Orb

Nature: Brave

[The code will be able to be redeemed starting from 26 November. If you enter the serial code wrong 10 times, then you will be unable to enter serial codes. In this case, you may try again after 24 hours have passed]

Page also says it can be redeemed until January 31 2016.

I may have gotten some of the English names wrong, I keep forgetting because I admittedly have not touched the game in a while. Sorry about that. I will put this in the original post later. Somebody fix the names up if I get them wrong.

I just received this gift from Mystery Gift. I will edit this post to write down the details. I only reset twice so far and I believe the Attack stat may always be maxed, I am unsure. I will do more experimentation later, but the other stats are randomising. It comes with the Wish Ribbon, is Fateful Encounter, and comes from "Pokemon Movie".

The card flavour text:

기라티나 선물

포켓몬영화를 보러 와 주셔서

감사합니다!

소포는 포켓몬센터에 있는

배달원에게 받으십시오!

"Giratina Present

Thank you for watching Pokemon Movie!

Receive the package from the delivery girl from the Pokemon Center!"

The text from receiving the Giratina from the serial code input:

기라티나 선물

찾아라! 수수께끼의 선물 포켓몬!에

참여해 주셔서 감사합니다.

후파와 함께 기라티나를 "링의 소환~!"

"Giratina Present

Find it! Thank you for participating in "The mysterious gift Pokemon"!

Together with Hoopa "ring summon" Giratina"

... whatever ring summon means. It must be some gimmick of Hoopa.

Two more legendary Pokemon will be distributed!

Hoopa http://pokemonkorea.co.kr/?inc=movie-m18-gift_03_hoopa

Arceus http://pokemonkorea.co.kr/?inc=movie-m18-gift_03_arceus

Announcement http://pokemonkorea.co.kr/?inc=news-news_view&IDX=10542&page=1

They will be distributed via serial codes as well.

I haven't understand how and when this is going to happen, but it looks like they will be available on December 23.

It says for those who are watching the film, you will get a "Hoopa & Arceus Gift Guide" which will presumably have the serial code inside. Unfortunately, it is not universal serial code unlike Giratina.

 korea we hate u!

US and EU will never release these Events >:/

It also is not available in small town areas in Korea because they do not have movie theatres that play these either. Such is my case.

Anyways details:

Hoopa

Level: 50

Ability: Magician

Learnset:

- Hyperspace Hole

- Psychic

- Astonish

- Nasty Plot

Item: Focus Sash

Ribbon: Wish Ribbon

Ball: Cherish Ball

Arceus

Level: 100

Ability: Multitype

Learnset:

- Judgment

- Blast Burn

- Hydro Cannon

- Earth Power (yes there is no Frenzy Plant)

Item: Silk Scarf

Ribbon: Wish Ribbon

Ball: Cherish Ball

Lotte Department Store and CGV both had infrared booths setup to distribute the 5 legendaries.

Buying the calendar would give you a serial code to unlock one, but it seems if you bought the calendar and the ticket you could get an additional legendary via Infrared? Or did you only need to buy the movie ticket at CGV? Can anyone confirm this?

:creep: EEEK These Distribution Sytems ...want them all !!!

Can Anyone steal one of these if nobody looking :bidoof:??

I see there is no Distribution Card inside....

the Distro will run on the SD card? Very interesting, but very bad...so its impossible to Dump them for a Gen 6 Distro R00m

Actually, what if it's running off a eshop game (cia), of some sorts.

meaning its still possible to dump the rom, provided someone runs away with the entire system

i think you must have the entire 3DS, because it is more difficult to remove the SD card from the system or not?

SD card content is encrypted with a console unique key. Without the console the data on the SD card is useless.

Seeing for how much these kind of things are beeing sold it is unlikely that someone who managed to get his hands on such a console will make it freely available for everyone on the internet.

I guess the "highest" chance would be if one of the employees dumps the software.

Anyways this is interesting information, I've never seen a 6th Generation distribution device before!

Well, maybe that's because they don't do local distributions anymore in Europe and the US.

Seems like Nintendo learned from the past Generations where several cartridges where stolen.

Yes i think so :( thats the reason

Only VGC in Europe get the local distribution

the last 2 years i"ve been looking at the VGC for the distro system, but i've never seen it ...

Similarly, I noticed that most of the distributions are nowadays done over the network, whether is it Serial Code or Nintendo Zone.

I think only Korea does it's distributions via infrared? (or so I read from bulbapedia)

I'm keen on a distro-rom dump, but it'll require the 3DS to be on a exploitable firmware,

and then proceeding to dump the xorpad for the files and whatever not.

At the UK Nationals back in May they were using a black box of sorts to distribute the Pachurisu event over wireless, I watched them turn it on then announce that the event (Pachurisu) was now live

Thanks for the reminder! I totally forgot about what I've found a few month ago!

Was it a box like the one you can see on this site? http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=29&threadid=76823

So they could easy leave the distribution devices unattended at big events like the VGC.

Yeah I believe it was something similar to that, it was kinda hard to see behind the main desk but it was definitely some sort of black box they had. I had just finished my match at the charging station they had set up near the main desk
