Prof. 9 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Nice work, looks like being lazy paid off (jk jk). I would suggest naming it something other than PWT Editor to avoid confusion though.
PKMNTrainerNick144 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I like that tool but I agree with Prof. 9. There should be a better name other than PWT Editor. Can't think of a good name as a suggestion...
RubenPikachu Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I have the separate version ready... However since I don't have a name for the tool other than PWT Editor, I will not upload it until I have one... Any suggestions?
Kaphotics Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 DT Manager (Download Tournament Manager) / Editor (DTE) / Tool (DTT) Instead of PWT just use DT for Download Tournament, since it's really not editing the PWT stuff in the ROM. All that this is is a download tournament
PKMNTrainerNick144 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Maybe the PWTMT? (Pokemon World Tournament Managing Tool?) I'm just trying to help out here with a suggestion...
RubenPikachu Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Ok... I liked DT Manager, however since the tool manages save file tournaments and edits .pwt files, I have decided to name it Download Tournament Editor (DTE) Here it is, it requires .NET Framework 4.0 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 Download Tourname.zip Edited January 10, 2013 by RubenPikachu
PKMNTrainerNick144 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I really enjoy this tool but it doesn't let me save the IVs of the Pokemon when I edit them. Everything else is good.
RubenPikachu Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Seems that I forgot the IV calculation function to be updated if you change IV  Solved it and edited my post with the updated version
PKMNTrainerNick144 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I really like this tool! I can't wait to test my PWT Downloads out when I'm finish editing!
RubyCarbuncle Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I figure, since I'm signed up here now, I might as well post this here. It's a tournament against me and friends in a group called "SG-1 Plays" (a bit obvious where we got our team name from ). Anyway, here is a video that shows the tournament in progress as well as the link for the download. [video=youtube;LJTfEOqulCY] Download the tournament here
HydroSage Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 RubenPikachu, do you know the codes for the sprite tab? I would like to change the trainer sprites without having to choose the special trainers.
RubenPikachu Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The sprites were given by Kaphotics in this post http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?25121-PWT-Download-Tournaments&p=156607&viewfull=1#post156607 I have updated DTE to contain the list
DevianteIcy Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I tried to open DTE and I tried to edit my PWT. But this happens....(Look at the attachment) How would I fix this? P.S. My save file ain't corrupted. Its still working!
Prof. 9 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I tried to open DTEand I tried to edit my PWT. But this happens....(Look at the attachment) How would I fix this? P.S. My save file ain't corrupted. Its still working! This can happen when your save file is not in the standard format, for example when you're using an emulator such as No$gba (which by default compresses all save files). Try converting your save file to RAW format before you load them.
BlackShark Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) A new PWT download is available in korea since 1/31/2013. There was no similar PWT download released in the other countries. Edit: Thanks to Kaphotics. I didn't see that this tournament was released in japan in september... 전설의 포켓몬 대격돌 (The Battle of Legendary Pokémon!) The next will be 2012 Seniors Division Challenge at 2/28/2013. Pokemon Legendar.zip Edited February 6, 2013 by BlackShark
Kaphotics Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 A new PWT download is available in korea since 1/31/2013. There was no similar PWT download released in the other countries.전설의 포켓몬 대격돌 (Legendary Pokemon daegyeokdol (google translator..., I don't know the exact meaning)) "The Battle of Legendary Pokémon!" ~ Serebii. It should be the same as the one released in Japan. Good on them for at least releasing it elsewhere!
prectorian Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Thanks BlackShark for the file. Seems like they are releasing them one at a time.
piuchester Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I couldn't figure it out yet. Where do you edit the names of the unused trainers?
rigbycwts Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Hope there's a way to edit the in-battle win/loss messages.
BlackShark Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 There is an editor with which you can edit everything in the PWT download tournaments. You can find it in this post http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?25121-PWT-Download-Tournaments&p=159540&viewfull=1#post159540
RubenPikachu Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) I have found out that Studio Pokemon (check here for more info http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?26325-Studio-Pokemon-Injector.) can be inserted on a pwt file and battle against them. I will add them later to DTE Edit: Added! [video=youtube;BURUuVideCQ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BURUuVideCQ Edited June 19, 2013 by RubenPikachu
Trainer-Z Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) Is it possible to change the sprites to those beyond the maid while still having a custom name? Like using the Pokemon Trainer Red sprite with a custom name? Edited February 25, 2013 by Trainer-Z
BlackShark Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Here is the Korean version of 2012 Seniors Division Challenge (시니어 세계강자에게 도전하자!) Senior Division..zip
rigbycwts Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I would suggest making an online PWT editor/savefile tournament injector. Some people (myself included) work on computers that cannot install .NET framework due to factors like admin privileges or "deep-freeze"-enabled computers.
