Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 Translation Project

Can you change "Pokemon Trainer" to "PKMN Trainer"? And can you change "Crasher Wake" to "Wake"? Thanks.

I agree with changing Pokemon Trainer to PKMN Trainer, it's always been abbreviated in past games.

On a vacation now so can't get at v3 from my iPad, so I'm gutted. That's one hell of a change log/update. Cant wait to return home and download the latest.

This is amazing work all round. Thanks for the hard work.

Hi,

It definitively doesn't work on my R4SDHC...

I've followed the instructions, patched a clean rom, then put the correct dat files in TTmenu...

I'm also using YSmenu 6.80 (latest build).

But when I open pokemon black 2, it stuck on the loading bar at the bottom...

I'm new hear :) and hope to do my best, I have desided to do a full update of the DSTT/YSMenu Dats update to game v6047

I have also cleanup the PM B/W2 (JPN) ROMs with a AP Default root ot 0x023FC400 and also Default the GameID in extinfo.dat to 00000000 making it one of each, (Note) Only Encrypted GameID's in infolib.dat "is required".

I beleave it to be

The Kana keeps the original Pokemon names.

To use with the GTS because it doesn't allow the translations.

guys iam getting this messege when i patch the rom

xdelta.exe E:/gba&ndsgames/patcher/BLK2TranslationV3.xdelta

bad magic number not a valid delta

note that this was not happened at the v2 of the patch

any help?

Try using the Delta patcher lite application instead of the actual xdelta app. worked for me >_<

No, I and most others do. I keep asking around, but no one is willing to take the time to help.

And also, I have a question. Are you guys working on translating the main stuff before you really start on the storyline?

The only way to fix it is to update your card's kernel. In the case of a DSTT clone/YSmenu/anything that uses extinfo.dat and infolib.dat, just replace those files with the ones linked to in the first post and it should work. Alternatively you can try to get Retrogamefan's firmware 6.80 to work on your cart and replace the dats in the TTMenu folder with the ones in the first post.

I don´t know if this can be considered a bug or not but every time I pass through the trainer in Losthorn Forest I have to battle him!!

Keep up the great work!!

They're meant to be that way, I heard they're good for EV training specific stats.

Also, does the nickname character limit increase only affect caught pokémon? I tried to rename a pokémon in Castelia city and the limit was still five characters.

Hey guys(girls),

I've downloaded patch,rom patched it,etc...

Everything was fine but after played a bit i came in Sangi town and everything was back in japanese...

Also on the first page you guys say that the pokemon are 100% translated but all the pokemon are still in japanese.

Am I doing something wrong?

i got my dstt/ttds working

what i did

1 backup my retrogamer in zip

2 delete everything

3 download Wood TTDS 1.29

4 put all files in the sd card

5 turn game on

6 press y on the game and x select cheats off and reset to off.

6 save settings and start game

i tested wood on dstt and works with other games too just make shure follow directions
