I don't understand why you are worrying about pokedex entries that nobody cares about WHEN the game is UNPLAYABLE without a guide because there are parts where you have no clue where your supposed to go because people block entrances until you go to ____ and it makes it so you have to wander around aimlessly when it's not translated+many people play this on the go and don't have access to a guide. At least translate the explainations that say ''you cant go here because you have to go ____'' There's only a couple and it wouldn't take half as long as those useless pokedex entries but if you did that, the game would be fully playable.

Anyway, I appreciate the effort but I'm just trying to point out how illogical it is to waste your time filling out pokedex entries when there's far more information on those pokemon on the internet already. It could be time better spent making the game more playable.

Chill d00d! They're nearly done on the PokeDex entries! As for the story, there is always walkthroughs to use.

Off topic here, I just watched the very first episode of Pokemon again, and noticed someone used a green Pokeball. It looked like a regular Pokeball, only green. Anyone know what happened to these in the games?

I'm very confused now.. Every time I patch it, i get other results..

1. time: At the beginning (pokemon battle, etc.) was more translation than in v1, but all the things in the item menu (for example settings, save, bag) aren't translatet anymore.. the guy at the river is talking english, the little girl japanese..

2. time: Same, but the girl is talking english now..

3. time: everything japanese, I think patching failed, but there was no error or something..

Hello, I just would like to say that battling has been broken on my end. I cannot get into a battle without the game freezing. The pokemon still move and stuff but the whole "FIGHT!" isn't there and can't run or nothing. I'm playing Pokemon Black. Tried various fresh copies on Pokemon Black and haven't had the issue. I've tried White and it seems to work fine so far, but I'm not as far in the game on white as I am black.

I believe its one of these: The Prototype idea of the Great Ball/Ultra Ball, a Nest Ball, Friend Ball, Safari Ball.

No clue if its even any of those. We may never know, just like when Ash saw Ho-oh on the first episode. It looked like the Shiny version but we'll never know.

i gotten 19 pages out of it, so my question of the day is this:

Then I suggest you not play a game in a language you don't understand. I beat Soul Silver and Pokemon Black with no issues whatsoever in full japanese (until there was a patch for translated attacks). The story is the least important thing as it's generally the same thing with every game, not only that, but common sense tells you to use trial and error. If you can't progress, back track, talk to every NPC, explore the area's you've been too. The game is far from unplayable, instead of complaining about a community project, use the time you just used to post that inconsiderate message and look at a guide.

I swear...patience is impossible to find nowadays.

I've had that happen to me when my game was gotten pre-patched. I patched a clean ROM myself and everything went fine. My guess is to try again and check your ROM's.

I redumped my actually copy and it works now. I wonder how it messed up to begin with though. It was weird it worked on Desmume but not on my ds...weird..

I was using acekard 2i with same firmware. I fixed it by redumping my Pokemon black and repatched it and works great. you probably need to dump your cart again.

Well I'm new to this whole thing and I thought that the 0001 dictionary was for the story for some reason, but shortly after I started I realized it lol. I was like...wait a minute...haven't I seen this before IN ENGLISH! Makes me wonder if someone could port another language to the 0001 dictionary to have 2 languages on one game.

Line 52: Brings back charm from the old days\xfffecity of the Kisokutadashiku Kurasu People (Does anyone know the actual name of the people in Kagome Town. I got the Kisokutadashiku Kurasu from google so yea doubt it's right. If I were to guess I'd say home of the demons, inuyasha and stuff lol jk.

Whenever I use TM40 (Aerial Ace) my game freezes immediately after "____ already knows 4 moves" and the text that should be "delete another move to make room for aerial ace?" comes up like "????????u?????????b????????????????" and thats where the game freezes

Use delta and go to create and select a clean rom and the edited/patched rom. It will search (Hex) to determine the differences. Thus when applied only the changed stuff is applied.

I used NDSTool to unpack the game, but the files were either .sdat, .dat or had no extension.

I used Pokemon Black as an example, so where could I find the games images?

I am using version2 for pokemon white

whenever a move targets another MOVE (ala torment or many of the weirdo psychic/normal whatever moves)

the effect is untranslated!

so someone will use a move which will prevent me from using one of my moves or maybe force me to use it or maybe copy it or etc etc

the text explaining what happens has a lot of Japanese in it that i cannot read... as far as i can tell though all other battle messages have been translated.... as far as i can tell what is occurring is that a move's name is being said in Japanese untranslated despite the fact that the name of that move has been correctly translated everywhere else

also in the menu when I capture a pokemon the part about would you like to name it is untranslated and also when a pokemon levels up and learns a new move the buttons for "yes/no/cancel/accept" are in Japanese

I manage to get by though great translation! I just wanted to point these out because I thought maybe they were an oversight
