How do I apply Pancake update patch? Completed main Veil of Darkness story, but when I try to apply Pancake patch, it gives me checksum error. I tried applying it over both clean US version and already modified with main patch game, with same results. Also, as minor bug, cafe sometimes gives you recruit dialogue, has no gameplay effects. -

You probably won’t find an exact save like that very often, but you can get really close. I’d recommend checking Project Pokémon – there are a lot of shared save files and useful tools there. Another good option is to start a fresh save and use PKHeX to import all Pokémon into your PC while keeping zero badges and untouched story progress. That way you get full control and everything stays clean. I’ve done something similar before for a replay and it worked perfectly, especially if you enjoy experimenting and taking breaks between sessions. When I’m not tweaking saves or replaying older Pokémon games, I usually relax on other platforms too — lately I’ve been spending some downtime on mostbet download, which is an easy way to switch off and have a bit of fun between gaming sessions. Try saving again in-game in a separate play session. That way both halves of the save data are populated correctly. Web editors using PKHeX are the same backend code. -

Hey, I’m planning to replay Pokémon Black and wanted to start with a slightly customized save. Ideally, I’m looking for a save file where: the game is at the very beginning (no badges), all Pokémon are already available in the PC (either level 1 or level 100 is fine), story progression is untouched so I can play normally. I’ve checked a few places but haven’t found anything that really fits this setup. If anyone has a save like this or knows a reliable place where I could get something close, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

Im just posting this here out of curiosity to see if anyone can solve the issue, because im having a really strange situation with PKHex v25/12/12 (last avaliable) when trying to edit a Pokemon Platinum regular save (not modded or edited previously). The save its functioning and working, i can edit it with PKHex web perfectly (so the save itelf is not the issue) and ive been all afternoon checking anything PC related that could be stopping PKHex to work properly, but i can say confidently ive checked almost eveything (.NET being properly installed, UAC not interfiering, Administrator privileges etc) and it still goes back to the "base" state as it is was frozen in time. Im of couse not using the save as the same time as the emulator and the basic stuff, that is also discarded, it must be something application related, but i cant figure out why is this happening, as i said i can use PKHex Web perfectly so in the meantime ill go that way. cfg.json PKHeX.exe Pokemon Edicion Platino (ES).sav

Make sure you use the flag names, not flag IDs. Make sure you have the mega stones. Make sure you do prerequisites (I think you need to at least clear base game story) Probably don't play on emulator.

To some extent that's all Pokémon games; it appears they tend to plan for all kinds of crazy ideas, but they run against the brick wall called skill and production deadlines. It's a sad reality that a lot of things in life get hampered by deadlines. To some extent it feels like an architect's vs engineer's argument over whether a project is possible, but I digress

okay, i went ahead and transferred the data over. i didnt change the receive dates of the few gifts i have obtained but from what im observing thats not much of a big deal? unsure if you or many others have attempted this transfer but i'll keep the forum updated if i experience anything unusual (ban) lol ;D

Exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you so much. From here people can engage with the DLC on their own terms, which I truly appreciate. Thank you. I won't go too heavily into why I feel the DLC was rushed, but I feel like there are a quite a few signifiers, specifically in the lack of variety and functionality of the RNG seed multi dimensions the game generates, which is arguably the bread and butter of what you have to engage with for it's "content". You can argue night and day about the quality of certain things like the side quests, cutscenes, re-used assets and such, but there are a few things that deffo feel like that were not meant to be shipped as such.

fair commentary Is it rushed though? I know others would disagree (they would said it's scummy to market DLC even before main game is out. and using that logic, the DLC was already ready) Yeah, the RNG is a pain tho. I get a controller to auto reset and makes donuts for me, and I also review the final product before deciding whether to get my controller to save scum or to save it. I don't know about stable build, but it's already there in the current development build

Donuts have their own inventory slot now, and essentially function as pseudo S/V sandwiches you consume on entering a wormhole space. Unfortunately, the DLC is rushed and these Donuts come with a lot of RNG that can't be easily worked around without a huge time investment. Is there any plan to allow the editing of the donut inventory through a dedicated GUI option in future updates?

Alright so apparently the PKHeX update from the 12/12 fixed everything? I don't have any issue with the exact same Files/PID generation anymore. So I don't know if you have anything to do with it TheSlayer but thanks both for answering me!

I'm trying to locate all of the new legendaries in the game! I found this little list you made of the Secret Slab/Mystery Part legendary encounters, but I had a couple questions... 1. What floor do all of these spawn on? Are they always on the second to last floor? 2. Could you whip up a list of all of the gen5+ legendary locations that are not on this list? Like the ones at the end of dungeons? Thanks! Great romhack btw. I'm Having immense fun with it -

Hello, I saw an item in the corner of mirage oasis's final floor. I can't seem to cross the water to get it even though I'm a water type. Can you tell me if this is a bug and what item it is? It's the light blue dot in the northeast part of the floor by that one tiny path tile. -

Does anyone know where Litwick is recruitable? I could swear I saw one in a dungeon but I can't recall where exactly after looking through a handful. I know Chandelure is available in Ultra Wilds, but I would like a Litwick. -

For myself I spliced the save into 3 parts: save A, save B, and then the reset of the save. To get a grasp of the situation I spliced both saves into their 14 data blocks. Then I checked the save index of each of the 14 block to see if they were all the same. Save A had 10 matching blocks that had the same save index and Save B had 12 matching blocks that had the same save index. Meaning that save A had 4 blocks that was a duplicate of an existing block in the save and save B had 2 blocks that was a duplicate in the save. For either of the saves to be valid the save will need all 14 blocks and not missing any section ID numbers from 0-13. Do note the blocks are not aways 0-13 and rotate each time you save. So after the first time you save the block order will be 13, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 but all must be present in a rotating numerical order. In your case you were lucky as blocks 0-4 were intact which include trainer info, team/items, game state, misc data, and rival info. If any of those blocks were missing that block would have to be provided from a doner save and you would have to use PKHeX to modify the data to match what you had before. In addition you PC box A was intact with the rest of them being empty. So then I stitch save A back together in numerical order 0-13 to make sure I didn't miss anything and the missing blocks were just PC boxes which I duplicated one of you empty boxes to fill out the save. After that I made sure all the section IDs were in the correct order and updated the section IDs of the added box blocks so all 14 sections were present. Then I placed the save into the save A spot and duplicated it into the save B spot that way both saves were valid and then stitch on the rest of the save that I spliced off. Afterwards I opened it in PKHeX to make sure it loaded and used it to export the save to update the checksums. Then loaded the save on an emulator to make sure it was good to go. For the record this is the first time I did a fix where I had to fix the save blocks so I was learning while I was doing this. All of these steps can be condensed and made more simple.
