  1. Since Poke'mon Dreamworld for BW 1&2 is going away soon, would it be at all possible to copy the code off of the website and use somebody's mad hacker skills to create a version that works offline and runs on your computer? Or maybe make one that utilizes another website? I hope it is, as if you use Google Chrome and push F12 you can see all of the files(I think) and might be able to download them if people hurry. So is it possible?

If this message keeps appearing, please contact Nintendo Consumer Service." when the .pkm file is a storage file. It must be a party file in order to work properly (issue is that storage files are 136bytes while party once are 236bytes). Original post text: Odd that no one is curious, but I am so here I go! Basically the game talks to Nintendo and the global trade center, but I wonder if we can get some of that data from external tools. I am pretty sure the official GTC flash site also reads from here, anyway I found out the URL addresses by hex searching in the rom file (platinum), here are the results: http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/common/setProfile.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/post.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/post_finish.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/get.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/result.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/delete.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/return.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/search.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/exchange.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/exchange_finish.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/worldexchange/info.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/battletower/roomnum.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/battletower/download.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/battletower/upload.asp http://gamestats2.gs.nintendowifi.net/pokemondpds/battletower/info.asp Obviously one is the battletower and other is the trade. Now it seems to operate on GET and POST, since I found a lot of HTTP headers. They also set a User-Agent that I think is called "GameSpyHTTP" (but might be a variable name or refrence, as I also saw "User-Agent: HTTP_X_GAMECD" a line or two above. Anyway it is possible to get information of trades and pokemons available using external tools, thus you may create a "alert me when X is available" tool if you like, or filter out those "I want a Mew for a Mew" people that are just annoying. Any thoughts or information you have learned?
  3. I am trying to set up my platinum game so I can use the pokesav. I am using no$gba to play it on, and I have already altered the .ini file and changed the save game format. Using the online converter, I am able to alter my game. However, I cannot switch it back to the no$gba format using the website, or cannot find the correct format. I have tried using the other no$gba to vba (I think that is what it is called) converter, but I keep getting an error message saying that a file type is either missing or broken, and cannot even configure the program. If any ideas are present, I would really appreciate it.
  4. Pokemon Downloads Hidden/Missing

Pokesav.org redirects to projectpokemon.org nowadays. The .pkm files which were the core of the website after the actual Pokesav download are no longer found on the homepage, but are hidden under the bottom Editing link panel, which for some interesting reason is in smaller text than the repetitive links above it. You click on Pokesav, and search to pick out the PKM Files link hastily stuffed into the list on the right. This takes you to another page in which you must search for the actual real link to the .pkm file database from text discretely molded into the paragraph. Finally this opens up a new tab to the .pkm file database. The Event Pokemon downloads page is still missing for parts undisclosed, though it did at some point exist. Here is what else has been said on the subject: The first point doesn't actually reference anything that was said in the thread, but the second point references a "Pokesav Requests" location which does not exist on the webpage. Perhaps it references some poorly devised extemporaneous forum section, which neglects the irrevocable benefits of content-based webpages, which is what ProjectPokemon.org conveniently provides. The section of the ProjectPokemon.org forum under Site Discussion is the best place to discuss discussion on the ProjectPokemon.org. Unless of course people flaunt around admin commands on a whim to close threads, thereby censoring any further discussion a la the Chinese Google search engine. Not all the PKM files are legit, and those PKM file sections have been up since Pokesav.org's time, diminishing the "matter of time" argument. So, basically, as the discussion stands now, the Event PKM file page on ProjectPokemon.org formerly Pokesav.org is either unavailable or very covertly hidden, even better than the regular PKM file page is. Where is it?
  5. Any newbie could do this, I just had the exe run the .pkm file you upload and the script just parsed the code that is printed out on the screen by the program. Nice for mass-scanning a whole box, if you just want to know what is valid and what counts as hacked. I want to release the source but it is really messy and depends on a half-used database I got from Veekun.com so it would just confuse the newbies around, I will most likely post it later when I get to clean it up a bit and structure the script a bit more. You can use the site on my host meanwhile: http://vlacula.no-ip.com/pokemon/legality_checker/ *Edit* Released the sources, check this post for download link.
  6. I'm technically new, but I was signed up for the pokesav forums. As my sig says, I AM NOT A NOOB!!! I can answer many questions about all 4 gens of pokemon and can also provide thousands of codes, from common to the not so much. Of course if the code is elsewhere in the site I'll just call you stupid :bidoof: or lazy. And anyone who is too lazy to download and use pokesav on their own, I might help you, depending on my mood. Usually I will.
  7. New Website.

Great website you guys have here.
