Of course. It is good you play your own way, and I do encourage originality, so it's pretty neat. I attached the Eviolite on my Vanillish, and that allowed it to take hits a bit better than Vanilluxe. But to state Servine almost outclasses Serperior is rather asinine, don't you think? Beartic didn't use Frost Breath on Servine? Because critical hits would go through stat boosts, regardless of the amount.

You're welcome. Double Battles are full of strategies not found in single battles. For example, Discharge can help power up your ally Electivire or heal your ally Jolteon. And yeah... moves like Charge is hard to salvage. However, I did face one person who utilized a Charge Zapdos. Unfortunately, it happened to have Lightningrod as its ability (Gen V version = immunity to electric moves and + 1 SpA), and my Gardevoir had Trace, so... yeah.

Best Elite 4 / Champion battle?

Yeah, a villa with only the female gym leaders and E4 of Unova, you know something is wrong. However, you can fight Cynthia, and her team are at the same level as the Unova's Champion. B/W is an anathema to the Pokemon series but it has some interesting stuff. And Voltorb don't forget. Manectric was awesome still, though it could not learn Fire moves unlike its Gen IV counterpart. I might try fighting Lance again just for fun. I started a new file and stuck with level 40-42 against the Pokemon League. I'm going to get creamed by that Machamp

Yep. A lot of things changed in Gen IV, such as Stockpile giving + 1 Def and SpDef, Waterfall getting a flinch rate of 20%, Leaf Blade powered up to 90 Base Power (as opposed to 70), etc... Meh, Struggle Bug is a move I'm always going to make fun of in Gen V. Basically, this is the TM that replaced the VERY USEFUL Stealth Rocks. 30 Base Power (weaker than Tackle), SPECIAL, and reduces foe's Special Attack by 1 stage. The effect is okay, but 30 Base Power and being special when most Bugs that you will use in game are physical attackers? That's not very fun... and this is a GYM LEADER's TM. They should have used Signal Beam or something, then I would not mind as much. Charge = Charge. Good enough. Charge + Discharge seems to pair up very well (their names and its effect).

I just don't like Cynthia in general. It's just me... she's a little... boring (right word?) and her appearance in BW was mostly for fanservice Only thing I like about her is her team, that's about it. However, DPP series was rather boring because of its emphasis on competitive battling and it lost sight of in-game adventures. Fortunately, HGSS saved Gen IV from being a total bore. If you hit Milotic with Toxic, it's pretty much down in a few turns. But yes, Milotic is a tough monster. I never had an Electric Pokemon in any of my in-game teams... ever, which is strange. I forgot what I used in Emerald to be frank. If his Gyarados was Gen IV +, it may have been a much tougher customer. By your logic, anything would get quite tiresome eventually. Yeah, it's true, but then again, if you were playing a remake, you are expecting the same old stuff... just polished. FR/LG was rather lacking for a remake to be frank, but even so, HGSS was still rejuvenating and fun, in spite of fighting the same trainers again from GSC.

Nah. Gamefreak comes up with all sorts of useless moves every time (Struggle Bug anyone)? Miracle Eye has its uses, and it was a great idea, but in the end, it just is not worth it is all I am saying. Miracle Eye was well thought out, but Struggle Bug certainly wasn't. I'm not a complete competitive elitist; I think Pokemon should have moves that are relevant to their types and whatnot (hence why moves like Tackle exist)... just stating Miracle Eye's impracticality in the metagame. The thing about Swampert is, without Ground typing, it would be weak to Electricity, and if this theoretical Charge negated electric immunity for a turn, it would take catastrophic damage. Charge? It isn't all too bad. It powers up Electric moves and all, and raises the user's Special Defence for that turn, BUT one wasted turn = one wasted turn, and usually people bring Ground Pokemon to stop an Electric Pokemon, so it wouldn't work competitively. I just wish that Special Defence boost was permanent.

Best Elite 4 / Champion battle?

GSC and that low level curve... yeah I was wondering about that. HGSS made it more fun though, especially the golden background and the music. It felt much more epic and like an actual champion battle, in spite of the movesets. There are even rematches now, so Lance's Pokemon are in the 70s, which is cool. However, I have a huge problem with his movesets. Salamence with Dragon Claw / Shadow Claw / Flamethrower / Rest... Dragonite with Draco Meteor / Fire Blast / Hyper Beam / Safeguard... needs moar Outrage Hoenn just had the worst Elite 4 ever. Two of my favourite types, Ice and Ghost, underrepresented, which showed so much in the form of Phoebe and Glacia. I was really disappointed. Wallace and Steven I guess were okay, but these rosters need to be remade. That Metagross was really something, but it felt like nearly nothing because of Swampert. I have to attempt something else now. I wonder how RBY would feel with a more enhanced storyline and Blue's team edited up to date. It would certainly be a challenge, and I would love to battle Blue that way. Cynthia is still the most powerful champion... which I'm not comfortable with, but whatever. That Togekiss... UGH. And she even has a Milotic. Why?!!

I think Ice needs more resistance in general... they really messed it up defensively. An electric resistance or something would really help. I think it works that way. Water resistance, I'm not so sure about as I'm liking water's neutral coverage Eh, I think that Electrics already have a few tools to beat some Ground types anyways, but I'm just afraid of things like Zapdos running amok and having more opportunities to defeat everything like that. The anime was rather inconsistent and just always made everything towards the protagonist's favour... and trollingly enough, always PICKING ON MY FAVOURITE POKEMONS too! http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Anime_physics

You get my point, and Chandelure uses Fire Blast apparently. N's Zoroark uses Flamethrower, Ghetsis's Hydreigon uses Fire Blast, there are surprise fire/ice moves everywhere. That Archen's Acrobatics still hurts like a monster too. And for outstalling, speed is very important, especially for a poor defensive type like Grass. Unlike competitive battling where you FORCE a switch, in-game is a different matter. Bad speed IVs or not, some things will always outpace you, and more often than not the extra muscles provided by Serperior will outweigh the benefits of an Eviolite. Servine's power is lacking for the most part. Not saying Leech Seed is bad by any means, but in-game, you're better off attacking the foe outright than stalling. Not only is it PP draining when you stall, but it also consumes time and you are stalling out a few Pokemon at most. Why bother when all you need is a set up move + a main attack? I only Coiled once and Leaf Bladed Clay's Pokemon. I'd rather set up and sweep through N's entire team rather than stall it out any day, as the latter takes more effort to do.

Best Elite 4 / Champion battle?

Mhh. Cynthia had the ideal Champion's team but for some reason I didn't really like it. The game itself felt a bit bland I suppose is all. I had more fun battling Lance in HGSS, maybe because it just sounded and looked more epic, in spite of his team having an amazing weakness to Rock or Ice moves in general. The gold background and the music just felt... inspiring. I had difficulty initially due to my underleveledness, but I tried my best to make it look like a difficult champion battle. My favourite is still the fight against the Kanto Elite 4 and Blue in the original RBY, in spite of the lack of AI and viable movesets (in RB... Yellow was difficult as difficult could get!). Blue still remains my favourite champion; I love how my rival was actually somewhat competent and even became the Champion before I did. That was something to look forward to.

Ugh, no just no. I've had it with those overpowered Pikachus and their overpowered Thunders. Though... even if Charge did that, I doubt people would use it. Like, we know Miracle Eye negates Psychic immunity on Dark Pokemon, but how many Psychics run Miracle Eye seriously? I haven't seen any. In fact, I tried it once, but realised it will get you nowhere simply because Psychic does not do enough damage to the Dark Pokemon while the Dark Pokemon can easily overcome the Psychic with STAB Crunch or Sucker Punch or something, forcing the Psychic to retreat (and that has the possibility of being Pursuited, which is scary too). But, Electrics are normally faster than Grounds, so maybe it would have an effect, but I would not want to see a Swampert fall to an electric move. Ever. It's just embarrassing. However, that is why there are COVERAGE moves. Electrics do run moves like Grass Knot to deal with threats like those Rock/Grounds when they need to or even Focus Blast or whatever. Chances are, the immunity to electricity was designed very well so that people do not overspam that move, or else Electrics with their single weakness would pretty much be quite hard to take down (we know how hard Zapdos is to take down already...). It simply encourages more coverage moves to be ran alongside Thunderbolt. I like the whole idea of Grounds being the hard counters to Electrics, though this whole game is riddled with badly done types (Ice only resists Ice for example, they need to fix that). For every countless Golems that lose to Ash's Pikachu, an Ekans eats a Pidgey. Please, think about the Pidgeys.

[GUIDE] Pokemon Black and White In-Game Movesets Guide

Problem is, not everybody can reach level 57 to learn Swords Dance before that time, so I am taking that into accommodation. Also, it is good to run physical and special water moves together sometimes. Hm, I definitely should have considered Aerial Ace, though STAB Surf and Waterfall does more damage or just as much as super effective Aerial Ace, respectively. The set you posted can work though of course, but too similar to that one posted already. *facepalm* UnderXRay has brought to my attention that I have not included the Pokemons' typings. I guess I should start.
