It's a casual community with people of all walks of life, but that diversity and largeness is too much for me to handle <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow.png" alt=":|" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Looking at others' scopes is really tough, but I'm trying. It's helping me understand how being a regular member is like as well. I guess I can gain valuable information this way.

I see some people are like casual forum people, others are competitive and mostly polemic, and others are well... meh it's hard to classify people in general. This is not a taxonomy class. Why do they have this? I don't know how you will rate an in-game team... post E4 or anything. Then I take a look at a thread, with someone having a Lonely Staraptor, for example, and someone rates it as if it was a competitive team. "Changes in Bold" (and Lonely is changed to Adamant/Jolly)... what the. DID SOMEONE just recommend HIDDEN POWER FIGHTING?

I don't know about duplicates however, or just using select Pokemon. I don't want to, like, troll people with a selection between Magikarp to Mewtwo, you know? But something along the mid-range, and some stuff from the outskirts to add variety, but nothing of the sort I mentioned.

And er... I'm going to get extremely busy these 2 weeks.

EVing Pokemon is simple. Defeating a Pokemon will give you an EV point of some sort (example: faint a Starly and your Pokemon gains + 1 Speed). Look for specific lists like the one in Bulbapedia or something if you want to know which Pokemon gives which EVs. Note that some Pokemon give more than 1 EV or one in different places. You can have a max of 255 in one stat and 510 in total, as you probably know. As for IVs, you can find out what they are mostly through AR (simply checking your IVs through AR isn't a bad thing though, but manipulating them IS)... or if you perfectly EVd your Pokemon and it is at level 100. Otherwise, we'd be pressed to find out what it is. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_effort_value_yield And no, we don't encourage cheating.

Aron doesn't get a priority move... must be the sand, but a lot of the top OU Pokemon are immune to sand anyways. What is this I don't even... Donphan would be better for that role, only it can actually live hits. But it has a priority attack in the form of Ice Shard, which no one is immune to. However, Donphan is an actually viable Pokemon that does not rely on gimmicks, so we don't know what sets those Donphans are using. However, when you are in a metagame where people rely on gimmicks to be popular enough to beat fully evolved Pokemon with normal roles, then you know something is wrong...
