Every Pokemon has a sleeping animation... why didn't they put that in instead? -___-

She saved me during that last battle. When Darkrai spammed Double Team she did too and I stayed behind her spamming Quick Attack <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue.png" alt=":P" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/tongue@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

This thing here is very useful. And the special episodes are... heartwarming. At least the first three. I've yet to tackle the 4th and 5th.

Yeah the game just tends to use level 60 + during post game... low leveled trainers don't exist, which is what I don't like about it. At least HGSS had some low leveled trainers for rematches.

And this game (MD) is becoming more and more unforgiving. Some Ledian started spamming SILVER WIND all across making me waste at least 5 Reviver Seeds and I couldn't see it because it was MUCH too far away. A Marowak's Bone Rush did not miss on me, and some Scizor's Technician Fury Cutter pwned... And partners are never doing what they're supposed to do. I suppose that's what I'm supposed to expect. Since the cost was too much I restarted >_>

There's a challenge letter from Mewtwo which allows you to get Mewtwo in Sky. Sky Version is pretty awesome and it's definitely a good extension to Time/Darkness. I did pick Darkness over Time just for Mewtwo <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow.png" alt=":|" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I now have 8 Reviver Seeds. I'm glad I could recover some, but that loss was mortifying.

Level 30-40... hmm. I was going to say the Sports Centers in Nimbasa City, but they all probably grew up in levels, like level 60 or something stupid. Some of Black City's residents use Level 30 Pokemon (like the O.L. with the level 30 Victreebel and the Youngster with the Level 30 Electivire). Try those wild battles holding Lucky Egg if all else fails, such as Route 9 near Opelucid City.

I don't know if my friend has the special beasts, but I'll ask.

Meh. Losing items certainly isn't the end of the world. I can live with this.

Ugh. GG.

So I was in Aegis Cave but in the middle I decided to shut down the game instead of quicksaving. That messed me up. You know why? It COUNTED AS A LOSS and now ALL my 3 page worth of Reviver Seeds, and the rest of my pack with Oran Berries and other goodies are gone... and my money is at 0 even <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

So yeah, I lost motivation as I can't even get them back <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I guess I'll have to suck it up and go without those stuff.

Wait. It's Aegis Cave. I'll keep cycling til I find a good load of Reviver Seeds S_S

Found a bunch of Doom Seeds. Might as well eat them.

I suppose it could have been worse though. But losing 3 pages of Reviver Seeds and a bunch of Oran Berries/Max Elixirs is really annoying.

This is the problem. It is technically similar to last gen's OU because of that power creep... and remember your old friends in UU? You won't really see them as much... in fact very rarely. Well, pre-OU/UU revamp times I suppose UU was actually UU. Now it's just "strong Pokemon that are not as strong as new Pokemon" tier and so it still makes little sense. I probably didn't word this whole sentence out (or maybe I'm struggling with English or something) but I hope I got something across.

Yeah I get you. I was doing the same, except I absolutely need seeds vs bosses... I don't mega grind or anything of that sort.

I can beat Monster Houses in an unconventional way now, but it requires Vulpix's Imprison more than ever. I will probably waste a single Max Elixir though for this.

Treecko's mad cool. I got him at an actual personality quiz (Quiet Male)

Found a new trick in Sky Version. Get 2 Escape Orbs or more from Marowak's Dojo and recycle 2 Escape Orbs for 1 Reviver Seed. It works like a charm. :B

Watch out about switching in directly... Gyarados will OHKO Galvantula... and though I'm not sure of Skarmory's Brave Bird, I expect that to hurt a lot. Or it will simply predict someone will switch in to "counter" and Whirlwind out... I don't know.

Defensive Zapdos's Thunderbolt vs your Machamp: 37.3% - 44.1%

Your Machamp vs Same Zapdos (Stone Edge): 51.2% - 60.6% (it will pressure stall + Roost from a paltry "4 PP" Stone Edge...)

Zapdos vs THOR IS HERE: 38.7% - 45.8%

THOR IS HERE vs Zapdos (Stone Edge): 53.8% - 63.7%

Again, it looks like you have the upper hand, but Roost stall can be particularly dangerous. With Machamp, proceed to confuse it THEN nail with Stone Edge. Lack of recovery on Machamp also hurts, as it will get 3HKOd.

As for fliers with weak defence... Dragonite says hi. Gyarados and Salamence with Intimidate also say hi. Though, it's usually just Dragonite that possesses a Flying move. Hey, even Togekiss's defences aren't bad either. And Skarmory would resent your remark. But I guess you mean those normal birds... yeah that's true but I just bought up the usual ones. Stone Edge won't OHKO defensive Zapdos unless boosted or STAB and whatnot, but a simple Dynamicpunch will confuse it and you can just Stone Edge it. However, beware of Pressure. Thundurus has some flying moves, just not "competitively viable" ones.

Not saying you have no defence against fliers, but they're something to watch out for.

Nah. I use NUs all the time in OU not just for likes but they all have something to offer. That whole "outclassed by X" is true sometimes, but at other times just dumb. Like, you can say Seaking is outclassed by Gyarados, but what's the difference between 100% and 136% damage, you know? Seaking works in rain and is an amazing Psychic slayer and now has the ability to be immune to Lightning. Just food for thought.

People really need to grow up if they keep insisting that whole sexist thing. If I make a whole team based on army men and they say "why no women you sexist?" I will throw something out the window. Same deal here, I guess. Yes, media has female superheroes, but they seem to be more... well, how can I say it... fanservice? Those people are usually just horny men or feminists. Am I harsh? Maybe, but such opposition is needed lest things go astray.

Meh I didn't feel like replying through the thread since I'm not really rating your team, just making some comments on other stuff.

Eevee just has to be one of the worst starters. She wastes more Reviver Seeds and Oran Berries than anyone and can hardly justify her damage (can't wait til evolution) <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Vulpix is just too good but has to deal with a not-so-great partner. I like them both though, so that's why it's frustrating.

I really hate MISSING EVERY TIME TOO... no Concentrator = no gain.

Monster Houses are a pain... especially with no Heat Wave/Discharge/Blizzard/etc... I can't even beat lower leveled Monster Houses without wasting like 5 seeds, which makes me promptly restart because the cost was way more than gain. Sigh. Playing with favourites really does have a toll, it does.

This is why... you don't get rid of Petrify Orbs like that <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow.png" alt=":|" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/mellow@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

In-game, Braviary >>>>>>>>>>>>> Mandibuzz. Mandibuzz is terrible in-game, takes too long to evolve, is hardly capable of offence, but she's very good for Battle Subway or competitive battling. She's VERY similar to Umbreon, if you want to put it that way, except with a stall team in mind, and thus, is quite a force in competitive battling, but rather dead weight in-game. Braviary on the other hand is tailored for offence, has the moves to destroy stuff (like Superpower/Rock Slide/Brave Bird/etc) and it isn't too fragile either. His ability Sheer Force powers up Rock Slide and Crush Claw if you like using him. Meh I still don't see the reason. In-game Pokemon tend to have a few off-beat moves in their moveset. I... actually had trouble with Lance (HGSS version) and was one of the better fights I've had in game If Blue were in the newer Gen as champion, he'd probably be tougher (I blame RB's lack of AI and FRLG's laziness) and Cynthia was... boring (a cheater with 31 IVs on every Pokemon). Alder's signature Pokemon, take one guess. That's probably why he's Champion.

That Mewtwo is the toughest in-game though, I was just too buff. It also has 999 HP or something.

Wow. 8 tries and I finally got it down. Imprison from Vulpix is so useful, and I managed to find a X-Eye Seed in the dungeon preceding Dialga. Yes, I had to do this 8 times by now. But more often than not, my starter Eevee is the one always fainting, eating up Revive Seeds, and in need of Oran Berries. My Vulpix Partner was very good, however. Eevee's just too tough to use <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The fact it has Flail is acknowledging YOU MUST BE low HP just to get its full potential. It's too tough.

I'm going to play through Bidoof's story, and then make a thread about my playthrough, I guess.

MD 1 was ridiculous, but that 100 floor dungeon was kinda annoying.

Okay, I past the 13 floor part, now I need to beat the 10 floor part... with no X-Eye seed/Sleep Seed/etc <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'll try to scavenge for them. But I swear, the floors are teeming with Bronzors and Solrock/Lunatones, and they're ALWAYS near you or RIGHT NEXT to the staircase. Yeah, time to fight Dialga.
