Yes, I will. Like that other projects can be started too. Do you have a preference for the location of this huge-thread? I'm a bit busy today by the Japan Expo Junichi Masuda masterclass it's really interesting what he says about the history of the developpement of the game. I hope we can do subtitles for ProjectPokemon in order to save and share this moment.

For me "leftovers" pokemon are all unique. Some are known, some are really hidden. My next challenge will be the FunFiesta exclusive mission ones; I'd love to get also the wild Scizor and the wild Shiinotic from Sun/Moon (the ones you cannot catch) and the Litwick wondercard from Gen5. And honestly it's very exciting challenges ^^

Well, I didn't input an encounter code but I did as said in my post. I inverted Caterpie and Venomoth slots. Is it or not legal is not really the question. The data exists in the game but cannot apparently be accessed.

But Paras can evolve too in that list and there is no Parasect.

In Pokemon Crystal the Hex are located in 97DB0 in ROM And in the RAM the Bug-Contest events are in ????

Here's my new challenge: try to get the unused bug-catching contest Venomoth in Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal what we know: there is an unused Venomoth table in bug-catching contest what we ignore: is it possible to force-load the content? or is it just a leftover? Helpers are welcome. I also beggin my studies about FunFiesta mission but it'll take time.

No problem, I thought too that unfortunately we have to reconstruct them. I saw this video Apparently you can get starters and play the entire game. So maybe a comparison between a starter obtained in the demo and obtained in the game will help us to reconstruct the .pk4 ?

Here is a video of a guy who created a bot in order to get them. I cannot help you much about it. So my next hunt will be FunFiesta in gen5, Demo Pokemon in gen4 and surely the Bug-Catching Contest Venomoth later

I try on both emulator and game cardrige. Here the file I got by doing state save. If it can help. Demo.dst Edit: Cannot import the .dst on a Diamond/Pearl rom.

The simplest way is to import the egg file posted here. You can get it other way by having a few chance that the Bad egg given is viable or by replacing the Pkm gift function by this Pikachu egg but it's really difficult to do for the moment.

@BlackShark How do you find the bank switch? Do you know Jap Blue one? Edit : @BlackShark You were right for the bankswitch of Japanese Pokemon Red and it was the second code I wrote to get it. Plus you need to activate the weird 5 かい thing. That's the method.
