The result will be the same. Steal trainer pokemon code actually transforms a trainer Pokemon into a wild pokemon. A more interessting thing to do is trying to get the Totem and allies Pokemon in Sun/Moon. It'll not be difficult, if someone has a good emulator/computer. I'd love to get the Scizor ally from the last challenge or the Shiinotic for example.

I bypass the problem, I'm not really proud, the flag is very annoying and as I ignore where it is I decided to convert the Marowak into a "normal" wild poke. Enjoy, and maybe tell me how to do better. 105 - MAROWAK - D7F5.pk1

@BlackShark suggets to ROM dump the file. If anyone is motivated ^^ Edit: There is a flag in FRLG too Link And this flag is not located at the same place (too easy if not).

If you change D057 from 1 to 2 it'll consider the Marowak as a trainer pokemon; put 11 to D05D. I'm pretty sure D047 is important too. Arg there is a flag that prevents ghost to be caught now I'm sure!

So Here the research thread for Ghost Marowak. I've seen a video on Youtube of guy who claims Ghost Marowak can be caught be modifying the RAM of your save at CFDA according to him. CFDA corresponds to the Name of your opponent according to the Map but yeah it can be something around. Or the ROM to modify? Here's my sav for those who wants to search with me but are lazy to begin a new adventure just for the event. My theories: maybe the type of battle D057 or battle type D05A? Or there is a flag for ghosts? MarowakRed.sav

So for Marowak ghost, the key is apparently at RAM CFDA. CFDA for Ghost 86878E9293508A505050509100530000 CFDA for Marowak 8C80918E96808A505050509100550000 I have no idea of what desactivates the message "this pokemon cannot be caught" The first 12 letters are for the name of the Pokemon; 53 or 55 is for his remain life. Any expertise?

Why not use the link I sent you? It's not compatible with Jap sav? If so, use it on a US rom with your sav imported in, save and exported sav.

It can be fished at lv10 in GSC that's why it is at this level but yes you're right the lowest level possible in Gen 1 is 15.

Yes it is. Example: Tackle for Pidgey (lol) or Aurora Beam for Lapras.

Yes,you're right, my bad, during my tests I have a wild Pidgey (which moveset was changed during gen2) and a wild Dragonair (which still don't pass don't know why). But researches still need to be done about the update of Pokemon Transporter.
