  1. It also needs to be a Redump verified .ISO file. In other words, it needs to have a CRC-32 of c0f69d18, an md5 of 3bc1671806cf763a8712a5d398f62ad3, and a SHA-1 of c1b5218f832403d15aa500ac4d6aacc8865c792d. If one of those does not match, you'll need a different ISO. Sharing ISOs is against the rules here, so you're on your own there.
  2. Uhh, the OP says to use a clean ISO, which implies NOT trimmed or scrubbed. It also needs to be a Redump database legit ISO. NUPS will only allow using the patch on that version.
  3. @Gathnix, @StarsMmd's forum signature probably has what you want.
  4. I'm having the exact same issue as @EvilApple567, and am also using the latest Beta build (5.0-9494) with recommended settings, so it appears to be a machine-specific issue. @StarsMmd, could you please look into this? I'm playing on desktop. I patched a copy of the same unpatched .iso as 1.8.x with NUPS (created a backup file), so I didn't patch it incorrectly. It just freezes with the sound still playing when selecting any action in the first battle. Edit: By 'same unpatched .iso', I meant the original CLEAN .iso that I used to patch 1.8.x.
  5. If you tried patching the same ISO that your computer ran out of memory patching, it won't work, since it already partially patched it. You'll need to get a fresh ISO. Also, at least 2GB of RAM is recommended since patching loads AT LEAST both the whole ISO into RAM, but if you tick the box in NUPS that says make a backup copy you'll need 2x the size of the ISO in RAM(which is about 2.73GB), which puts the maximum recommended RAM at 4GB. Edit: I highly recommend having 2 copies of the ISO when patching - the one you are patching, and a backup copy in case patching fails. If patching fails, make a copy of your backup copy, then use the newly created copy to patch again. This is actually the recommended method when patching ANYTHING, really, but very few people do this.
  6. Sounds like you only have 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM, and more than half of it is in use. How much RAM does your computer have?
  7. Hey, @StarsMmd, is there an ETA on when 1.2.0 will be available? I can wait, but thought there might be an ETA since the changelog for 1.2.0 is listed in OP, but there is not a download link yet.
  8. You need an ISO with the following hashes: CRC32: C0F69D18 MD5: 3BC1671806CF763A8712A5D398F62AD3 SHA-1: C1B5218F832403D15AA500AC4D6AACC8865C792D If the ISO you have does not have those hashes, patching will fail. You need a different ISO.
  9. Is it intended that not all of my Pokemon can be burned at once? I was facing that trainer that Vander told me to battle (the one with the Sableye that knows Will-o-Wisp), and all my Pokemon except Poochyena were burned. It said that Poochyena wasn't affected when Sableye used Will-o-Wisp on Poochyena.
  10. It seems to be a Gateway problem, since the Leveled build has the same problem for me. Does anyone know which CFW is best for running SS as a .cia?
  11. I followed these instructions exactly for 4 different .cia files, one of which was from a dump of a friend's cartridge, but the Star Sapphire 679 build always errors in FBI with 'Invalid NCCH'. I assume that one of the 679 build's files is corrupt or something. I tried in Gateway mode and in NTR mode; both have the same issue. I'm going to try the Leveled build now, and I'll post here with my results afterward.
  12. Google --3DS "Save Bank"-- (without dashes) Then tell me it's 'impossible'.
  13. How did you achieve this? Is there something I'm missing?
  14. Okay, I'm using this, and keep getting "AP not found". I also have used this tool before, and had the same issue, with an ARDSi. I'm using a TTDSi this time, on a DS Lite, if that helps. What do I set the IP to in the .ini? My router uses 192.168.1.1, so that's what it is currently set to. I have no idea what I am doing wrong here. edit: nvm. Didn't have a connection set up on the ds. But now it stays at "connecting to ftp server", and nothing happens, neither on smallftpd, or on my ds... edit2: okay, now it just displayed "ERROR FTP server missing". what's going on here??
