  1. Which version of Java have you installed? EDIT: Doesn't work for me either. I'm on Windows 8.1 64-bit and I have the 32-bit version of Java installed. Neither the x86 nor the x64 version of the programme works for me. I tried the 64-bit Linux version and that one worked in my Debian VM. However, it says that it can't find the image folder, even though it's there in the same folder as the jar file (and yes, I extracted it)
  2. Hi, I've got a problem with your editor. The Pokemon_Editor Gen 1 to 3.exe just won't boot at all on my 64-bit Windows 8.1 PC. Ironically, the unstable Legacy Edition runs just fine though, what's the difference, feature-wise? Do you know how I could make the normal editor start up?
  3. Hey, I'd like to request a feature for PKHeX. Would it be possible to not only allow viewing of the player's coordinates but actually changing them, too? The reason I'm asking for this is that I'd like to be able to access the Mirage Spots in ORAS easier, especially Crescent Isle because I don't want to be dependent on HomePass or simply pure luck. Changing the Map ID already works, but changing the XYZ coordinates has no effect in the game. Is that a bug or is it intended not to work? It would be great if this could be integrated into this truly awesome tool

Then your best is to contact Kaphotics and ask him why editing the coordinates doesn't have any effect in the game Though you'd probably still have to be on the Ditto Mirage Island once in the normal way to actually get the required coordinates and the Map ID

I tried it a couple of weeks ago to get to Crescent Isle. It does not work that good. The only thing you can change is the number of the Map, the coordinates do nothing when edited. So you'd need to have a decrypted ROM to determine which map ID you need with the tool "RSWE". Save anywhere, edit the ID, load your save file, see if it worked, it's that "simple" The problem is that most of the times you do it like this you will just see a black screen when you load the save file so you need to edit it back to its original state. Also, I don't know if you will actually be able to encounter wild Pokémon like this, because when I finally was able to "warp" myself onto Crescent Isle the ring you need to interact with to encounter Cresselia was moved forwards a bit, so you simply couldn't access with. There's an easier method to being able to fly to multiple Mirage Spots though and that is Homepass, just google it
  6. Hey, this is a question probably only SciresM knows the answer for but I'm going to ask it anyway I've seen SciresM's video on YouTube in which he showcased a map warping hack in XY. I'd like to try this out in ORAS to get to Crescent Isle easier. Has the information on how to pull this off already been available to the public? Or is there another way to make certain Mirage Islands appear, e. g. through Save Editing?
  7. You can't trigger the event with a save editor alone. Although you can put the tickets into your inventory with A-Save you still have to use the activation cheat codes for the events. Those can be found on the internet pretty easily though.
  8. Me neither, it's a bug
  9. Is it possible to set a specific Mirage Spot to appear through save editing?
  10. This means they have not spawned yet
  11. We don't know if it will support homebrew on 9.X
  12. I always use it, you can export your save file with SaveDataFiler, then you open FTPony and WinSCP on your PC, copy the "main" file to your PC, edit it, transfer it back to the SD card via WinSCP, now exit FTPony and use SaveDataFiler to import the main file back to the cartridge, open the game and you're all set I like doing it like that because you don't have to turn off your 3DS everytime you want to edit something.
  13. Something like this would be so awesome, especially when combined with FTPony, you could just send your save file from your 3DS to your phone, edit it and then send it back. But just compiling it as an APK is not possible, somebody would have to port the tool to Android which shouldn't be too hard, it's basically just a matter of finding someone who can code for Android who has the motivation to do this. I don't have much knowledge about this particular SDK, the only thing I could do (perhaps) is to port the tool to Java, which isn't of much use I'll look into the Android SDK though... I'd really like to thank Kaphotics for making Pkhex open source though!
  14. Well it wouldn't be their fault if they wouldn't be able to do that. They'd have to find a whole new kernel exploit.
  15. Nobody knows for sure right now. However, what was previously stated by Kaph, that GW3DS will only clone Sky3DS on 9.X and won't allow more than playing ROMs, is WRONG. Or to be more precise: It is unknown yet. Nobody knows what their workaround for 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2 will accomplish.
  16. In ORAS, there are many legendaries that can only be caught at a certain daytime or after a certain amount of time has passed. Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf for example, where you can catch the first one right away but the next one will only appear after 12 hours have passed, and then you'll have to wait another 12 hours for the third one to appear. I've read that you can't just change the 3DS clock itself because you'd have to wait an entire day for the events to happen again (maybe even more, I'm not sure about that), just like it happened when you tried to bypass the 6-pokemon-per-day-limit at the Pal Park in Diamond and Pearl. Is there a way to circumvent this and change the game's internal clock to get those legendaries faster?
  17. Does the FTP only work for transferring the main file from the PC onto the 3DS or can I send it from the 3DS to my PC as well?
  18. Is there a way of giving me a complete Pokedex in PKHeX without having to click Give All 700 times?
  19. Cyber Save Editor and Cyber Save Editor 2 are pretty much the same, the second one just has a newer software bundled with it but the first one's software is updateable so it's really no difference
  20. PokeGen does work with non-Japanese cartridges. And yes, if you transfer the Pokemon from the flashcard to your legit copy you can transfer them to PokeBank
  21. Hey I've been doing some research on this since quite a bit but I was never able to find any information about this so I figured I'll just ask the PMD Researcher himself: Is there any way, wether it is by RAM or ROM editing, to change the recruitment rates in the games? I just find it really frustrating having to venture through a 99-floor dungeon multiple times, just to find out that the boss again doesn't want to be a part of your team Of course I've found some AR codes, for example for PMD Red which should give every Pokemon you beat a recruitment rate of 100%. However, none of these codes worked for me, some were just entirely fake, posted onto supercheats or the like and only consisting of a button enabler and a line of code that didn't make any sense ^^ Do you know if it's possible to do this sort of thing? I don't even care for which game, as long as it is PMD Red, Blue or Sky since I'd like to replay one of those three and try to recruit every pokemon. I'd be grateful for an answer
